790: Mistakenly Entering the River of Ti 790: Mistakenly Entering the River of Ti As Gu Lan’s gaze moved forward, a terrifying wave of blood energy surged around him.

The Blood Master, with a dim expression, was filled with murderous intent, closing in on him at an alarming speed.

The Blood Master’s movents were so fast that the entire world seed to shatter with each step he took.

The space around them exploded with violent cracks as both Gu Lan and the Blood Master were consud by a dark void.

Surrounded by this abyss, Gu Lan raised his sword and struck.

With a single swing, he shattered the blood light that ca toward him.

But what shocked Gu Lan was that the Blood Master had prepared an ambush.

The attack didn’t injure him at all.

Instead, Gu Lan was sent flying by a fist, pushed back over a hundred feet.

“Boom!” Gu Lan was forced to steady himself after retreating a hundred feet.

Though he was not severely wounded, his body felt a sharp pain.

His arm was numb from the impact, and the sword energy he had released earlier had long since dissipated.

The Blood Master stood a hundred feet away, the blood energy around him unchanged.

Their eyes t, and a cold sneer appeared on the Blood Master’s face.

“You’re overestimating yourself, boy!” the Blood Master sneered, his voice dripping with disdain.

“I have to say, you’re not bad for a human.

Looks like I’ll need to get serious!”

Gu Lan coldly responded, his voice calm but filled with resolve.

“I have to admit, you’re strong.

But let’s see if you can handle this attack.”

With a flick of his wrist, Gu Lan released a surge of energy that radiated around him.

His sword, shining like a thousand blades, cut through the air, and he stepped forward, leaping into the sky.

“For now, I’ll call you senior.

But I doubt you’ll be able to withstand this strike,” Gu Lan said with a faint smile on his face.

The sword light gathered into a colossal shadow, aid directly at the Blood Master.

A terrifying aura swept through the space, and the shockwaves of this attack spread throughout the area, affecting even those far away.

Xue Lengyan, standing nearby, furrowed her brow in concern.

She didn’t hesitate for a mont and imdiately retreated a thousand feet.

Gu Simu and Ding True Man, too, released their energy and retreated.

Gu Simu’s eyes were fixed on the battle, a look of excitent in her eyes.

This was the first ti she had seen Gu Lan unleash such power—it was much stronger than before.

Ding True Man was equally stunned.

Though he had been with Gu Lan for so ti, this was the first ti he had seen such overwhelming strength.

He knew full well that if he were to face this, he would not survive.

As the massive sword shadow descended from the sky, the Blood Master’s expression darkened.

He quickly gathered his blood energy, and a blood-shaped figure appeared behind him.

The figure imdiately lunged forward, rushing toward Gu Lan with terrifying speed.

“Co, I want to see just how strong you are!” The Blood Master’s voice was filled with disdain as he advanced.

“Boom…” The sound of a massive collision echoed across the sky.

The two forces clashed, and the area where they fought was engulfed in a blinding white light.

In that instant, both Gu Lan and the Blood Master were swallowed by the explosion.

When the light faded and the space began to recover, both Gu Lan and the Blood Master had disappeared from sight.

Gu Lan, still affected by the power of the previous attack, quickly opened his eyes.

A surge of killing intent filled his gaze.

However, to his surprise, he realized that the Blood Master’s presence had vanished entirely.

The energy he had once felt was now gone, and there was no sign of the Blood Master anywhere.

Confused, Gu Lan looked around but found nothing.

“What is going on?” he muttered to himself, quickening his steps, but after walking for what seed like an eternity, he had not moved from the sa spot.

Eventually, Gu Lan stopped.

He was back where he had started.

His face twisted in confusion.

This was the first ti he had encountered such a situation.

He channeled his energy into the Hongng Sword and swung it forward.

His movents seed slow, but in truth, with a single strike, hundreds of blades flashed through the air, causing the space around him to tremble.

Yet, when he looked around, everything remained unchanged.

Frustrated, Gu Lan was about to strike again when suddenly, flashes of golden light appeared in the distance.

Drawn to the unfamiliar energy, Gu Lan instinctively looked in the direction of the glow.

When he saw it, he froze in place.

Inside the golden light was a series of images, showing scenes from his past.

“The River of Ti!” Gu Lan gasped in shock.

His eyes widened as he realized where he was.

He had accidentally entered the River of Ti.

He had not cared much about the past, but now, he was more concerned about the future.

He could not afford to waste this opportunity.

But as he looked further, the images blurred.

When it reached the point where he fought with the Blood Master, the screen began to fade, and the images after that were entirely gone.

“Unknown?” Gu Lan muttered to himself in disbelief.

There was no future shown in the River of Ti!

According to what he knew, everyone could see their past, present, and future in this place.

Yet, his future was absent.

As he stood in confusion, the space in front of him suddenly twisted.

Images exploded around him, and before he could react, everything went black.

Gu Lan felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself back where he had started.

He quickly scanned his surroundings, but the Blood Master was standing there with his eyes closed.

The blood energy had dissipated.

“Young one, I am no match for you,” the Blood Master said softly.

Gu Lan, still in a daze, nodded slightly in acknowledgnt.

His energy also began to settle.

“Senior, you are too humble.

You are no weakling yourself,” Gu Lan replied.

It was undeniable that this Blood Master had so strength.

Being able to go head-to-head with him was no small feat.

Not even Bright Clan Arthur could have withstood that last strike.

The Blood Master did not respond.

He simply turned and began to leave.

As soon as he exited the space, his gaze shifted to Xue Lengyan.

There was a hint of hesitation in his eyes, but his expression was subtle.

Xue Lengyan didn’t notice, but Gu Lan did.

He couldn’t help but wonder, What does this an?

He soon realized that if he had entered the River of Ti, the Blood Master must have also done so.

The future had been absent for him, but perhaps the Blood Master had seen his own future.

If that were the case, Xue Lengyan’s sches must have been revealed to him.

Before Gu Lan could react, the Blood Master spoke again.

“Little one, we may have crossed paths, but I will honor my promise,” the Blood Master said, his tone suddenly shifting.

Gu Lan was taken aback by this change in attitude.

He had never had any direct contact with the Blood Master, and he wasn’t sure what to make of this sudden shift.

But since the Blood Master had spoken, he could only respond with a respectful bow.

“Thank you!” Gu Lan replied.

The Blood Master rely gave a faint smile and said nothing more.

With that, he gathered his energy and left.

Xue Lengyan, seeing this, quickly followed, her energy flaring as she followed the Blood Master.

Once they were gone, Gu Simu and Ding True Man approached.

They bowed to Gu Lan, and Ding True Man, his face solemn, spoke.

“My Lord, the Blood Master just now harbored murderous intent toward Xue Lengyan!” Ding True Man said, his voice tinged with concern.

Gu Lan nodded.

He had sensed it too.

“But why did he hold back?” Gu Lan muttered.

Based on the Blood Master’s character, once he knew sothing, he would never let it slide.

Yet, the murderous intent had only lasted for a mont.

“Could it be that he saw a different future?” Gu Lan pondered aloud.

Gu Simu and Ding True Man exchanged puzzled glances.

“Father, what are you talking about?” Gu Simu asked.

Gu Lan smiled faintly and shook his head.

“Nothing.

You two go back to Lanyan Royal School first.

I’ll be back shortly.”

After a mont’s thought, Gu Lan decided to follow up on his suspicions.

He would have to see what was going on.
