Chapter 163: Ti Managent Technique: Playing Foolishly with Your Girlfriend
Xu Qing thought to himself, Poor Qin Hao, he’s clearly getting the short end of the stick.
If it were Wang Zijun, he wouldn’t bother about whether it was two girls or not. He’d probably drag them both to bed for a trial run. Who knows, he might even manage to sleep under the sa blanket with the two of them. But Qin Hao?
Not a chance.
The odds of him getting both of them? Zero point one percent. And that’s assuming the two girls simultaneously lost their minds.
Xu Qing didn’t want to see Qin Hao get scamd, whether it was a lesbian marriage scam or just stringing him along with no intention of marrying. Either way, they should scam soone else. Qin Hao’s such a simple, honest guy, wholeheartedly serving the people—what did he do to deserve this?
“You haven’t even hugged her, and you say you’re in a relationship?”
“I think so… probably?” Qin Hao stamred.
“What do you an think? And probably?” Xu Qing was exasperated. If this guy didn’t go on blind dates, he’d probably stay single his entire life.
Xu Qing relayed what he had seen earlier. Qin Hao was stunned into silence.
“That really happened?” Qin Hao’s voice was filled with disbelief.
Good grief, he hadn’t even hugged her, and she was already kissing soone else… and it was another woman! How do you even process that?
“Why don’t you work so magic and take both of them?” Xu Qing joked.
“Take my ***! A lesbian? Right under my nose? No way, I’m going to confront her.”
“Don’t rush. Maybe it’s just her sister or sothing…”
Xu Qing believed his eyes didn’t deceive him, but so people, even if they weren’t lesbians, could still do unconventional things. Better to ask first and not wrongfully accuse anyone.
“Next ti you et her, just ask casually. You’re good at that. You were even probing into Jiang He’s vertical testing last ti—you can handle this. If it’s really what we think, she won’t be able to deny it.”
???
Jiang He stared at him from the side.
“I knew it! How could such a beautiful woman like ? I was feeling so flattered… Turns out it’s just as I suspected!” Qin Hao muttered, finally coming to terms with the situation. Oddly enough, he felt a sense of relief.
The call ended, and Xu Qing was about to help Jiang He with her livestream setup when he noticed her looking at him strangely.
“Who did you break up with?” she asked.
“I didn’t break up with anyone. I was advising soone else to break up—Qin Hao, you rember him, right? That guy we had dinner with. The one with the girl in the short skirt and stockings… uh, I wasn’t looking or anything, just saying. Anyway, I saw her this morning kissing another girl.”
“Kissing another girl?!” Jiang He was shocked. “Who was the other girl?”
“Yeah, weird, right? Makes look downright normal.”
“…”
If anyone was strange, Xu Qing couldn’t hold a candle to two girls kissing. Could they be a couple?
Just as there are boyfriends and girlfriends, there are also girlfriends and girlfriends. Human civilization advances, productivity improves, and once material needs are t, people’s interests beco more diverse—so even fancy peculiar things. Jiang He recalled Xu Qing’s philosophical musings from the other day and tried to make sense of it. “Girlfriends and girlfriends are becoming more common?”
Xu Qing followed her line of thought and imdiately understood what she ant. After a mont’s reflection, he said, “Sa-sex relationships are a personal freedom. Not common, but I respect them—as long as it doesn’t involve .”
“What if it did?”
“I’d keep my distance.”
“Oh, I see.” Jiang He nodded seriously.
The topic of how two won could have children remained a mystery to her, but Jiang He didn’t plan to ask. Conversations about having children didn’t seem appropriate between them.
By the afternoon, the livestream setup was ready. In the corner of the living room, with a statue of Zhong Kui in the background, a window on the left providing bright lighting, and a small table Xu Qing had moved over, they were good to go. Xu Qing intended to help her get started.
Since it was registered under Xu Qing’s ID and authenticated, regulations required the actual person to appear on cara. Though usually not a big deal, better safe than sorry. Jiang He had finally found sothing she was passionate about, and even if it didn’t work out, it would still be a valuable experience.
“An hour?”
“Yes, one hour daily. So people do an hour and a half, but start with an hour—from 7 to 8 p.m. We can have dinner first, and then after 8, we’ll have ti for movies or gas.”
Once everything was set, Xu Qing taught her the basics. Then he plopped into a chair and opened the ga arena. “Let test it out for you. Haven’t played in ages.”
It had indeed been a while since Xu Qing played. Seeing Jiang He so into it, his fingers were itching to try. Her character was decked out in gear earned from grinding—a scrappy, poorly equipped account with no costus and a lackluster feel. A few minutes later, Xu Qing had already broken her winning streak.
“I thought you said they were all newbies?” Jiang He said, her voice faint.
“Uh, heh… my bad, my bad. Your turn.”
Feeling awkward, Xu Qing vacated the seat and advised, “Now that the stream is live, even if no one’s watching yet, you never know when soone might join. Don’t pick your nose or scratch your feet or anything…”
“I wouldn’t!”
“And don’t talk about stupid stuff either. Rember, both you and Zhong Kui have an audience.”
Jiang He said nothing, but she carefully examined her on-screen image, visibly excited as she started the next match.
For soone from the Tang Dynasty to find herself streaming and gaming in the modern world—it was downright surreal.
Xu Qing sat nearby, opened his laptop, and ensured he was on cara while editing the video clips he had compiled last night. The goal was to splice them together seamlessly, add dialogue, and make them cohesive.
In the livestream, there was still no audience—just Jiang He, engrossed in the ga, and Xu Qing, visible in profile, indulging her whims.
Surprisingly, Jiang He’s knack for combat seed to extend to gaming as well. Xu Qing had assud her earlier wins were against weak players, but after trying the account himself, he realized that wasn’t the case.
The account was a ss—just a leveled-up shell with no decent gear. Jiang He’s bad luck must’ve drained the day she t Xu Qing. Even the dungeon rewards at max level yielded nothing but scrap, which she dismantled for spare change.
Despite this, her clunky character movents sohow connected with precision, leaving opponents unable to counter. Her sense of rhythm was uncanny.
Xu Qing, having finished his tasks, watched for a while and remarked, “Your strength is your timing.”
“You’re not busy anymore?” Jiang He asked, noticing he had nothing left to do.
“I need to stay visible…”
Xu Qing thought for a mont, then stepped back and began stance training. “From now on, I’ll move my morning practice to the evening—starting at seven for an hour. That way, when your stream ends at eight, I can catch the evening news for half an hour. Perfect timing.”
Maximizing his ti efficiently was Xu Qing’s specialty—The Master of Ti Managent.
