My Whole Class Isekai'd to a Xianxia? Good Thing I Can Do Mind-reading Chapter 300: Perverted Old Man
After the contents of the projection orbs were fully revealed, Feng Fan prepared to leave. The evidence needed to incriminate Qin Cai was secured. However, just as he was about to exit the room, he noticed Lu Bao staring at the orbs, visibly perplexed.
Given that people had managed to infiltrate the evidence room within the inner city, it stood to reason that a person of high position would be exposed by the recordings.
But that wasn't the case, or at least, not clearly.
Lu Bao furrowed his brows and muttered, "I'm missing sothing."
Feng Fan cast one final glance at Lu Bao before turning to leave. There was no need for him to stay involved in the ss any longer. He would visit Lu Bao soon, then depart from this planet.
'I wonder how the others from the Dao Seeking School are doing,' he mused, realizing he hadn't heard from them since they parted ways upon arriving in Yellow Leaf.
Feng Fan returned to the inn where he was staying with the girls. Inside, the three of them sat cross-legged, cultivating in complete silence. With a light smile, he stepped in and announced his return.
"Hey, I'm back. Mission accomplished! I just need to et with Lu Bao, and then we can leave this place."
He waited for a reaction, but none ca.
Not a word, not a nod. The girls glanced at him briefly before returning to their ditation as if he hadn't spoken at all.
Feng Fan let out a small, bitter chuckle. He had a pretty good idea why they were giving him the cold shoulder.
And he also knew how to fix it—by answering the question Xue Qiang had asked the last ti they spoke. But that was sothing he wasn't ready to do.
Without saying another word, he turned around and left the inn, heading toward the largest marketplace he could find. The door clicked shut behind him.
Inside the room, the girls opened their eyes and exchanged puzzled looks.
"…What happened?" Su Xiaoli asked, frowning. "He just… left?"
She had been the one who ca up with the idea to ignore him until he explained himself, but she hadn't expected him to walk away without even trying to win them over. A mix of frustration and disappointnt swelled in her chest.
"Does he care that little?" she muttered, her voice lower now.
Xue Qiang and Huang Xue remained silent, though their expressions said enough; they were thinking the sa thing.
"…Should we stop?" Huang Xue asked hesitantly, glancing at the door.
Xue Qiang clenched her fists, then slowly shook her head. "No. Let's wait a little longer."
It didn't take long for Feng Fan to return. This ti, he carried three neatly wrapped boxes in his hands. The girls looked up in surprise, their cultivation forgotten for a mont. But realization quickly set in.
He was trying to bribe them… with gifts?
Seriously?!
Su Xiaoli and Xue Qiang's expressions darkened almost instantly, their earlier annoyance flaring up again. Huang Xue, on the other hand, remained calm, her face unreadable as usual.
Feng Fan approached the one with the most explosive temper first, Xue Qiang.
He offered her one of the boxes. Alongside it, he sent a gentle qi transmission, his voice brushing softly against her mind.
"Qinqin, rember when you used to get bullied? After I dealt with them, you always said chocolate made you feel better. I found so here... I hope it tastes the way you like."
Xue Qiang blinked, caught off guard. Her fingers moved on their own, accepting the box before she even realized it. Her cheeks flushed slightly as old mories surfaced—mories of him, bruised, grinning like an idiot as he dragged her to the sweets stall after defending her.
"…T-Thanks," she muttered, looking away.
Feng Fan smiled and moved to Huang Xue next.
Just like before, he offered her a box and sent another silent ssage.
"Xue, I'm glad you're still wearing the choker I gave you in Cloudveil City. It suits you so much that… I couldn't help but get you sothing to match it, a pair of earrings. Try them later."
Huang Xue's eyes softened as she accepted the gift. The mory of their first date in Cloudveil City played vividly in her mind. How awkward and sweet it had been, how her heart had raced when he handed her that choker back then.
This ti, she smiled without noticing it.
'Traitors!' Su Xiaoli scread inwardly, watching Xue Qiang and Huang Xue lt the mont Feng Fan handed them gifts. 'Seriously?! That easily?!'
As Feng Fan turned toward her, holding the final box, Su Xiaoli crossed her arms and raised her chin, eyebrows furrowed in defiance. She had made up her mind—no matter what he said, she wouldn't fall like the others. She'd stay strong. She'd show him!
Feng Fan stopped in front of her, wearing a helpless, slightly bitter smile. It wasn't her scowl that made him look that way, but rather, what he was about to give her.
'I swear, if I regret this later…' he thought.
Then ca the qi transmission, sliding smoothly into her mind like a whispered secret.
"Xiao'er, the day we first t was one of the best of my life. I bought sothing that reminded of that mont… a small whip."
He handed her the box with zero ceremony.
Su Xiaoli stared at him, stunned.
Then her cheeks exploded into red. Her heart thudded in her chest like a war drum. A dangerous sparkle danced in her eyes, and her mouth parted slightly, as if she was about to drool.
Feng Fan paled a little.
'W-What is with that face?!' he panicked, gulping.
"H-He misses my punishnts… he wants more!" she thought, caught in a whirlwind of self-delusion and… perhaps a touch of glee.
Feng Fan gulped as a grin took root on Su Xiaoli's face, growing wider by the second. At this point, she looked less like a young lady and more like a perverted old man.
