Getting off the motorcycle, Audrey waved her hand, asking David to co inside the villa imdiately.

Parking the motorcycle in the courtyard without putting it in the garage was definitely not a problem in this neighborhood. David had no worries about leaving the motorcycle there. Even if it was completely lost, he had no problem.

He followed Audrey to the villa's terrace.

The latter unlocked the door, revealing a hall that was luxurious and elegant though not very spacious.

It had complete facilities, from sofas, tables, cabinets with antiques, to a sizable aquarium.

What really surprised David was that there was a birthday cake on the table with candles in the shape of the number 18. The candles were even lit. Maybe it was a special candle because the fire couldn't lt it.

At first glance, the birthday cake looked simple, having a small size.

However, when observed, it turned out to have beautiful carvings, as if painted by a skillful hand.

Only, he was doubtful of one thing, whether it was for his birthday.

He tried to rember what date it was.

Unfortunately, while he knew what date it was, he didn't know if it was his birthday.

This kind of thing was indeed sothing she did not take seriously, so he completely forgot.

In fact, he hardly ever celebrated birthdays.

No one organized birthday events for him. Before this year, Audrey was a woman who was very busy pursuing her education and then her career as a lecturer.

"Sis, is today my birthday?" He finally asked Audrey who suddenly rolled her eyes.

"It seems that your head is just full of won. You don't even rember your own date of birth," she said, sarcastically looking at him.

At this point, he could only smile wryly while scratching his head.

"Hurry up and sit down!" said Audrey, pulling his hand to sit on the sofa.

They sat side by side, not across from each other.

"Are you going to sing, sis?" David asked her.

On birthdays, other people would sing birthday songs for the celebrant.

However, Audrey was a woman who never sang. David wanted to know if she would sing for him.

Apparently, she rolled her eyes and replied, "there is no need for singing, just blow out the candles and then cut the cake."

She declined without further ado, sothing David expected.

David just laughed, not finding this strange.

Apparently, Audrey picked up the cake, bringing it in front of him so that he didn't have to bow his head to the table.

"Blow," she said.

This ti, her tone was very soft and calm, and even her gaze contained obvious affection.

It seed that she was beginning to seriously show her true colors as an older sister who doted on her younger brother.

Being like that, David got carried away. He blew out the candles gently.

With a single blow from him, the flas on the candles were instantly extinguished, puffing out thin smoke for a mont.

"Happy birthday, my dear brother," Audrey said, smiling wider.

To his surprise, she pinched his cheek, and that while pushing his face towards hers.

An even more surprising thing happened after that.

Her face moved towards his face until her lips kissed his cheek.

David couldn't help but freeze in this situation.

Granted sotis his older sister kissed him but that was only when he was a kid, still in elentary school. Now it was very different.

He was already a grown man.

This kind of kiss was too weird.

If she was his mother in her 40s, it might still be normal, but her status was his older sister.

It was just a short kiss, and Audrey seed to be very happy after doing it.

David finally chose to pretend that nothing was wrong.

Perhaps they did need to show each other deep affection as siblings considering they had no other family left.

On the table, plates, knives, and forks were ready.

Audrey took them all, then cut the cake herself.

Although she had originally told David to do it, it was clearly just words.

She would do it as the one who was celebrating the birthday with her.

The cuts were very neat, each piece enough for one mouth.

She stabbed one piece of the cake, then pointed it at David's mouth.

"Eat," she said.

David imdiately put the cake in his mouth, feeling like laughing.

It was just that he couldn't help but point out the incredible sensation of biting into the cake.

It was actually very delicious despite its seemingly simple shape.

It seed that Audrey had seriously sought out a cake maker to prepare this birthday event.

And it was only made more delicious because it was Audrey who fed her the cake.

There was a special sensation, of course.

This was obviously because Audrey was a beautiful woman. If she was just his older sister without her beautiful face, there would be no such sensation.

Audrey put one cookie into her own mouth as she chewed the cookie in her mouth.

The atmosphere beca very cozy.

Unfortunately, Audrey only bribed him once. She handed him one fork for him to eat on his own.

"Don't let this cake run out," she said.

"It's not hard to finish this cake, I think it's too little," David replied with a quiet laugh.

Audrey was silent, continuing to eat, occasionally drinking.

There were no special drinks available here, just bottled water. Read the latest on mvl

"By the way, sis. What's the present for ?" David asked her as he suddenly rembered that soone who is about to celebrate a birthday always gets a present.

He naturally wanted a present from his older sister.

"Don't worry, I naturally prepared it," she replied with a faint smile.

She picked up her bag, and opened it slowly.

It might be a small object, but David was sure it was sothing of great value. It must also be very expensive considering Audrey's current finances.

Audrey put her hand inside the bag as David was filled with curiosity.

After that, she took out a transparent glass box which contained a silver necklace.

Yes, it was just a necklace, it didn't look unique and extravagant.

However, the pendant of the necklace instantly made Oliver want to cry.

It was in the shape of a heart with small words engraved on it.

(David and Audrey, siblings forever!)
