Chapter 83: A New Sche
Luo Yuyan glanced left and right trying to spot Luo Qianqian when she sat on the carriage, but she couldn’t see Luo Qianqian.
“Father, where is my Fourth Sister? Is she going to the Palace tonight?” Luo Yuyan put on a smile and asked Pri Minister Luo.
Pri Minister Luo grinned and said arrogantly, “Of course your Fourth Sister is going, she’s my good daughter and she is going with Prince Eighth, we will et in the Palace I’m sure.”
Luo Yuyan clenched her fists and her face reddened.
‘Going with Prince Eighth? How desperate do you want to show off? I’m telling you Luo Qianqian, sooner or later, I will look down upon you and laugh at you like the good old days, look at you eaten up with pride now!’
‘There can only be one young lady in the Pri Minister Mansion, Luo Keer is out of the ga now, and you are the next one! You will die an ignominious death! I swear!’
Luo Yuyan took a deep breath and said, “I’m so happy for my sister, she’s betrothed to such a good man, always taking great care of her.”
Pri Minister Luo nodded and smiled, “Yes, Qianqian is a lucky girl”, then Pri Minister Luo looked at Luo Yuyan, “Yuyan, my good daughter, I will find you a perfect match too, the gathering tonight is a good opportunity to et other princes, I hope you make the best use of the opportunity, you know what I an?” with that Pri Minister Luo cast a aningful glimpse at Luo Yuyan.
Luo Yuyan’s eyes sparkled and she replied, “Farther, I won’t disappoint you.”
Pri Minister Luo laughed, “I know, Yuyan has always been my pride.”
The First Lady and Luo Yuyan exchanged a look, ‘tonight I must shine.’
They arrived at the Palace after half an hour or so and they had to alight from the carriage and walk in the palace on foot.
There was already a line at the gate where the officials and their family mbers chatted in twos and threes when the Luos arrived.
Luo Yuyan saw her good friend Yue Qiqi, daughter of General Yue.
Yue Qiqi was about the sa age as Luo Yuyan, and she was an outspoken girl because she was raised by a General. The two t at a Flower Admiring Gathering several years ago and beca close friends, Luo Yuyan was happy to see Yue Qiqi.
Luo Yuyan excused herself and ran towards Yue Qiqi, and Yue Qiqi was excited to see her friend too.

Yue Qiqi was a bit different from the traditional young ladies growing up in the big mansions, she was very straightforward and she had been practising martial arts since she was a little girl.
Luo Yuyan took hold of Yue Qiqi’s hand and chuckled, “Qiqi, look at yourself, you haven’t changed a bit since I saw you last ti, teasing all the ti. How could I forget about you, Qiqi, you are my best friend.”
Yue Qiqi was happy to hear that, “All right then, save all these sweet talk and rember to visit more often.”
Luo Yuyan smiled and asked, “Qiqi, how have you been?”

Obviously Luo Yuyan was lying about what had happened, it was her who had forced Luo Qianqian to betrothed to Murong Yun, and now it was her who slandered Luo Qianqian due to jealousy.
Yue Qiqi frowned on hearing her friend being bossed around, she clenched her fists and asked, “Yuyan, don’t worry, tell where your Fourth Sister is.”
Luo Yuyan pretended she was so hesitant to answer, “She… my Fourth Sister is… …”
Yue Qiqi was short-tempered, “Yuyan, just tell already!”

A sche ca to Luo Yuyan’s mind, she whispered at Yue Qiqi’s ear, “Qiqi, do you want to be Prince Eighth’s princess?”
“Of course!” Yue Qiqi exclaid.”
“Well, there’s a way.” Luo Yuyan said tantalizely.
“What are you talking about?” Yue Qiqi asked desperately.
“Just think, Qiqi, you are the daughter of General Yue’s legal wife, and Luo Qianqian is born by a concubine! I’m sure His Majesty likes you more than her, why not bring this up at dinner later, I’m sure it will work!”
