"I am not a Seer. But I know more about the future than the seer of ’Night Order’. Think about it, you have nothing to lose. Killing would give you nothing.

Extra mbers surviving in a carriage isn’t enough to disrupt the ’world flow’. If I beco useless, kill later. But let my group and live till then."

[Victoria’s ’Lie Detection Lv. 4’ has confird your words to be true.]

I knew more than any seer would ever know, but showing all my cards wasn’t necessary right now. I had already given Victoria enough bait, and it seed to have worked.

She was contemplating her decision. It would have been even nicer if she had done that after releasing , though.

All the aura I had gathered in front of my carriage mbers until now was gone. Even Charles was looking at with those delighted eyes. He was feeling pleased by seeing my torture.

Bastard.

I was going through this hell because of him. I would make sure to work him to the bone later.

"Hmm, it looks like you aren’t lying. I will keep you around. But make one mistake, and the electricity you felt before will seem like a tingling sensation in comparison."

She finally let go, and I fell to the ground with a thump. For now, the danger had passed.

[Remaining Group Slot Left: 3]

[Ti: 2:53]

I wanted to celebrate my hard begged victory, but there was no ti to waste. While we were in that mindless skirmish, two groups had already completed the scenario and exited the subway station.

Three minutes weren’t enough to kill another Titanoboa on our own. Ti was running out.

My eyes then landed on Victoria. She was using her electricity to shock Charles now. Did he really think he could get away so easily after what he did in the previous turn?

After all, being petty was in Victoria’s nature.

"Please stop, child. I will even buy you a chocolate later, so kindly stop sending electricity up my ass. Plea—"

Before Charles could finish his sentence, a surge of electricity ran through him, cutting him off completely and making his whole body jolt.

The timing was almost perfect. It was as if Victoria had been waiting for that exact mont for him to speak to strike him. I watched the scene unfold without any intention of interfering.

Honestly, he deserved every bit of it. This was nothing more than the consequences of his earlier behaviour. He had enjoyed my suffering a mont ago, and now it was his turn to experience the sa pain.

"Wait, listen, we can talk about this—"

Another shock hit him mid-sentence, snapping his words in half as his body stiffened again.

"Alright, alright, I get it, I apologi—"

He didn’t even get to finish the word before another burst of electricity ran through him.

"I don’t know what I did! But I said I’m sorry, you psycho—"

That one earned him an even stronger shock, his voice turning into a strangled cry as he twitched on the spot. Never call her psycho! She couldn’t swallow the bitter truth.

Victoria didn’t say a word the entire ti. She simply continued, as if this was a perfectly reasonable conversation. On the other hand, she had already cleared the condition, yet stayed behind, wasting ti on sothing as trivial as this.

But I wouldn’t complain. It worked in my favour.

"Victoria," I called out, pushing myself up despite the lingering weakness in my body, "if you are done entertaining yourself, you might want to look to your left."

She glanced at , mildly annoyed at being interrupted, but still followed my gaze.

A Titanoboa had slithered out from one of the holes not too far away. Its massive body coiled slowly as it searched for its next target.

"Careful of it," I added calmly, "it reacts strongly to sudden bright light."

That was all I needed to say.

Victoria’s eyes narrowed slightly, and the next mont, a bolt of electricity shot out from her hand. It wasn’t aid at Charles this ti.

The lightning struck the Titanoboa directly.

The creature convulsed violently as the current spread across its body. Its scales crackled under the surge. It let out a distorted hiss, and a wave of pain erupted inside it.

I watched in silence with a faint smile. This was perfect.

My eyes t Shia’s.

She nodded instantly, understanding what I was trying to say at a glance. The electrocuted Titanoboa was already on the brink of death, its massive body barely holding together after taking the full force of that attack.

All we needed was the final hit, and the kill would be ours.

Shia moved straight for its head and drove the tal rod through its fried skin. The sa skin that had been impenetrable to everyone else split open with a crisp sound. It had weakened enough for the rod to pierce through without resistance.

Titanoboa’s mushy brain spilled out a mont later, and it died on the spot.

[You have completed the first condition. You are free to leave the subway station.]

[Ti Remaining: 1:45]

[The constellation ’Ten-Headed Saint-Like Demon’ is questioning the power of the girl nad "Victoria".]

[He says her power level is too high for the current scenario.]

We managed to complete the first scenario, but Ravana didn’t seem too pleased with the overwhelming display of power Victoria had shown.

Constellations were beings far too addicted to entertainnt. For most of them, excessive power only made things boring rather than exciting. What they wanted to see was struggle, betrayal, and hope being built up, only to be crushed in the end.

Ravana was no different.

I would give him sothing exciting to watch soon, very soon. But for now, we needed to run.

"Everyone, towards the exit! Right now!"

At my command, the whole group started running towards the exit, including Victoria.

STEP! STEP!

But as soon as we were about to cross the exit, I felt sothing tugging from behind. I looked back, and it was Victoria.

"What happened? Let’s cross before the ti runs out. We can talk later." I said while looking into her eyes. But she stood completely still. Everyone else from our group had passed except us.

"Arin, co fast! There isn’t much ti left!"

Shia called for , but I didn’t turn back. Sothing ominous was about to happen, I felt it.

And as if she was waiting for my realisation, Victoria pulled up. The next second, I was flung into the air. A giant Titanoboa erged from one of the holes.

It was triple the size of the others, probably their mother and swallowed whole.

"Did you really think I would trust you just based on that? If you know more than the ’Ninth Order’, then you are much more dangerous than they are."

And that was the last thing I heard...
