"I’m just saying, you must be so bored dealing with company stuff all the ti. It’s good to go out and hang with Qin Xiang and the others."
Wen Qiao paused, then added another line, "But you should still hang out less with Qin Xiang. Don’t let him lead you astray again."
"Alright." Fu Jinghen readily agreed.
"Who’s all going to be there?" Wen Qiao asked. "Are there any won?"
"The sa people who ca to our engagent party," Fu Jinghen reflected. "I guess so of them might bring their girlfriends."
"The engagent party, uh..." Wen Qiao drew out her words, "I don’t really rember it though."
"I’ll take you there another day to et them."
Wen Qiao readily agreed, "Sure, sounds good."
"Oh right, another thing, Sister Yao told that D Ho’s jewelry brand is interested in becoming their spokesperson," Wen Qiao said with a hint of pride. "I might even beco the global spokesperson."
D Ho’s target audience has always been young won aged 18-25, with designs that are delicate but not too complicated, not like other luxury jewelry brands that require a formal dress code to match. It specializes in everyday fashion.
Seeing the ssage on the screen from Wen Qiao that read, "Quick, praise ," Fu Jinghen smiled and said, "D Ho and FS have collaborations too—"
"I don’t want your help this ti!" Wen Qiao hastily interrupted him. "This ti they’ve taken notice of my own ability, so don’t get involved. Let nature take its course, don’t taint our pure collaboration."
Fu Jinghen gave her a cool look, "When you need my help, you sweet-talk with a basketful of complints. Now that you don’t need , you kick to the curb?"
"Aw, don’t put it that way," Wen Qiao said with a charming smile. "The deal is pretty much set in stone already, so there’s no need to bother President Fu to step in now, right?"
"Plus, if you get involved, it’s like owing them a favor. If they take advantage during collaborations with our family business in the future, the endorsent fee I earn won’t be enough to make up for it. Let us develop on our own and that way, we can make double the money."
Fu Jinghen snorted lightly, "You sure know how to analyze things."
"Not bad, not bad at all. What can I say? I’ve got an eye for money."
Noise ca from the doorway. Wen Qiao looked up and then said to Fu Jinghen, "You better go. I’m off to eat. Drive safely."
"Okay."

A dazzling red Bugatti stopped in front of Green Manor about fifteen minutes later.
Qin Xiang had just arrived too, stepping out of the car in front. Hearing the sound, he turned to look and was surprised to see Fu Jinghen getting out of that car, "Old Fu, when did you get such a car?"
"It’s not mine." Fu Jinghen handed the keys to the parking servant and walked side by side with Qin Xiang into the manor. "It’s Cheng Jue’s."
Qin Xiang realized, "You confiscated it? No wonder Cheng Jue was lanting on social dia that he couldn’t escape your clutches even after growing up so much, and now he is even skipping tonight’s gathering."
Fu Jinghen cracked a lip smile.
Teasing his wife and confiscating his car was letting Cheng Jue off easy.
Most of the people who ca over today were pretty good friends with Fu Jing, having attended his and Wen Qiao’s engagent party. They were surprised to suddenly see him on a variety show the day before and hadn’t quite registered it.
Knowing he was back today, they clamored for a gathering.
Fu Jinghen and Qin Xiang entered the private room one after the other; most of the people had already arrived.
