As the sounds of iron boots echoed out of the portal, an easily recognizable shadow appeared in the blue haze. He was wearing armor shining like silver, with a sword and shield on his back, it was Damian Smith, the bully who had tornted Ryan for several years.

About forty more travelers ca out of the portal, totaling around seventy travelers. The room was filled with mages, archers, hunters, tanks, rogues and druids. As much as Ryan was not standing out so much in that place, he could still see on his system how so people were looking intently in his direction.
As much as he was only a rookie, his na was echoing around the internet these days. So both the veteran and the new travelers could recognize his face from afar. In the midst of that crowd, an intense aggressive look ca over him, it was like a shout in an empty room.

As the travelers received the bracelet, John Wrynn continued his explanation, "Now, everyone will have access to this training center. The bracelet the guild is giving you is a new magical technology, a miniature portal. Activate it when you are alone and you will be launched to this base. The guild will offer various benefits and rewards for travelers who evolve efficiently within the base, plus of course faster access to portals.
'That's sounding like too good an offer...'
'This group is too big for all these advantages, if the guild is so concerned about these portals. That ans that they are probably decreasing the size of the next attack, and very much so.'
