No one has ever stood in front of her like this.
Blood dripped onto her face, warm and confusing.
"Thank goodness, you’re okay."
Then with a thud, Shang Jingchen collapsed onto her, unconscious.
Ye Lu had to stay in the hospital all night.
The crown prince Shang’s head was smashed open, but luckily, there was no blood clot inside, and the wound was not too big. After treatnt, he fell into a deep sleep.
Ye Lu also drowsily fell asleep.
When she woke up, Shang Jingchen was already awake, staring at her in puzzlent.
"How did I end up here?"
Seeing him awake, Ye Lu sighed with relief. She was quite moved when rembering that he got injured because of her.
"You got into a fight with a bunch of thugs who were harassing last night, then you got hurt trying to save ."
Shang Jingchen vaguely rembered sothing like that.
However, when he saved this woman, it was because he was drunk and thought she was her, which was why he rushed in.
"Thank you for saving , if it weren’t for you, I might be dead." Ye Lu said awkwardly, as she had been speaking ill of him behind his back.
"Don’t thank , I wasn’t saving you. You’re not charming enough to make risk my life."
Ye Lu’s heart stuttered. This foul-mouthed jerk, he can’t change his nasty attitude, and all her gratitude just vanished.
"Hmph, good, I didn’t want to thank you anyway. You probably just got dizzy and bumped your head."
"Is this how you treat your savior?" Shang Jingchen turned pale-skinned with rage.
Even though he didn’t intentionally save her, he did save her after all. This ungrateful woman didn’t have a shred of gratitude, which made him extrely angry.
"If it wasn’t for your insistence on going to that bar, none of this would have happened."
"How dare you say that." Shang Jingchen ground his teeth, staring angrily at her, "I haven’t blad you yet, I’m in this state because those goons were all over you."
Ye Lu mumbled guiltily, "I didn’t ask for it."
"Hmph, you’re a nuisance."
At this mont, Madam Shang rushed in. As soon she entered, she grimaced at Shang Jingchen’s bandaged head.
"What happened to you? Where did your bodyguards go? Letting you get hurt."
"They have nothing to do with it, I told them not to follow. It’s not a big deal, stop making a fuss."
Madam Shang was taken aback, then noticed there was another woman in the room.
"Why is she still here? Did you get hurt because of this woman?"
Ye Lu felt guilty.
"It has nothing to do with her, I provoked it."
Ye Lu was surprised, this man actually covered for her, it didn’t seem that bad.
"Then let her go."
Ye Lu heaved a sigh of relief, she couldn’t stand this confrontational mother and son, like a full-on war, with sparks flying everywhere. She happily picked up her handbag, ready to leave.
"Stay where you are, who told you to leave!" Shang Jingchen looked aggrieved, this woman was about to leave with an elated expression.
Who caused him to be in this state, if she dared to leave.
Ye Lu turned around with a bitter face, pleading with her eyes, my dear master, please don’t make the scapegoat, haven’t you seen how ugly Madam Shang’s face is?
Shang Jingchen gestured an amount of ten thousand, then beckoned to her.
Ye Lu imdiately stopped in her tracks, her eyes lit up as she rushed to the side of the bed, obediently allowing him to hold her tight.
Madam Shang’s face turned even uglier, "Jingchen, what do you an?"
"Mom, like I said, she’s my girlfriend."
"Don’t joke with , I know you’re just using her to upset , let’s forget about what happened last night."
"Haha, mom, you’re wrong, I’m serious, I want her to be my girlfriend, this ti, you can’t stop ." Shang Jingchen said with an indifferent expression.
Madam Shang’s face turned pale, she stord out in anger.
