Then, turning to Shang Jingchen, she laughed, "Crown Prince Shang, let’s talk about our cooperation."
As businesses from both parties were now engaged in conversation, Ye Lu was left out.
She stood to one side, lost in her thoughts for a while, then under pretext of the washroom, she excused herself.
As she was about to leave the washroom, she saw Chen Yunfei entering, her face as stern and her eyes as piercing as they were in the past, emanating the sa dominant coldness.

Ye Lu turned pale, "This situation is not what you think, I can explain..."
"Explain what?"

"Whatever you’re doing now has nothing to do with our Gu Family. Whatever you want to do, I couldn’t care less. Managing to latch on to Crown Prince Shang, that’s your own competency. But, speaking of which, your competency has never been lacking, especially when it cos to manipulating n. I’m only relieved that Gu Yan broke free from your clutches. I only feel sorry for the Crown Prince Shang to have gotten involved with a scheming woman like you."
Her words struck Ye Lu deeply, forcing her to raise her head abruptly, "Mom, the incident back then... I don’t know what happened either, I have no idea what took place that night?"
"Don’t call ’Mom,’ it’s nauseating. You’re still defending yourself? After committing such a disgraceful act, do you think we’re all idiots?"
