"She faked it, but she’s with the Jun Family, so aren’t you afraid of the Jun Family to handle her?"

The principal stood tall, his integrity unyielding: "Even if she were the president’s daughter, fraud is fraud, and we will not condone such behavior. Hereby, I officially announce the revocation of Ye Lu’s enrollnt and her expulsion from this institution!"

As his voice rang out, the reporters cheered, applauding him for his spine, daring to expel the wife of an elite family.

It seed that this matter was indeed true. Ye Lu, who had married into the Jun Family, must have quite the gall to commit academic fraud and get involved with Tian Kun’s underhanded dealings—now truly enshed in scandal, her reputation in shreds.

"Young Mistress Jun, how do you feel about this situation, and do you accept the school’s punishnt?"

After hearing the school’s harsh decision about Ye Lu, reporters imdiately surrounded her, bombarding her with questions.

"Do you admit that you faked your paper? Why did you do it, for money?"

"At the previous press conference, you emphatically stated that there was no inside story to Tian Kun’s bidding process and that you were frad. Now, amidst allegations of your paper’s fraudulence and your shortlisted candidacy, were all your previous explanations deceits to the public?"

"Why is Third Young Master Jun not here this ti? Does that an he has already abandoned you?"

The sharply critical questions ca at her like a flood, but Ye Lu’s expression remained impassive, her lips sealed. Feiyu and a group of bodyguards encircled her, escorting her toward the exit.

The reporters were not satisfied and continued to press her with questions.

Finally, Ye Lu looked up, eyeing them with disdain: "I have only one thing to say—I did not fake it!"

The reporters were stunned. With such clear evidence and even the school expelling her, she still adamantly denied the fraud.

"So what you’re saying is, you refuse to admit any wrongdoing?"

"I will never confess to a wrong I did not commit!" Ye Lu said no more, striding away.

...

Ye Lu did not leave the school; she asked to visit the lab where she had conducted her experints to conduct an investigation, but the school’s staff stopped her.

They ordered her to leave the school imdiately and never return.

Ye Lu’s heart sank even further—not allowing her into the lab confird her suspicion that sothing was amiss.

Without access to the lab keys, she could not enter. For now, Ye Lu had no choice but to leave.

Exiting the school, she unexpectedly encountered soone flagging down a car.

"Senior Brother Chu Fei?" Ye Lu’s eyes narrowed as she quickly invited him into the car.

Chu Fei looked at her with concern: "It’s been a long ti, Ye Lu. I didn’t expect to et you under these circumstances. But I believe in your innocence; you did not commit fraud."

"Why?"

"Because I was also there to help you with your experint, recorded the data, and even assisted you with it. How could I not know whether it was genuine or fake? Even if everyone says you faked it, I would still believe you wouldn’t do such a thing."

Ye Lu felt touched—despite the solid evidence against her and the undeniable falsity of her data, he still believed in her.

She had started to suspect that perhaps Chu Fei had tampered with it, as he was the only one besides the professor who had access to her experint.

But now, she felt guilty for doubting him, for suspecting an honorable man with a scher’s mind.

"Chu Fei, sothing strange is happening. I found that the first set of data from my experints was correct, but the numbers started to deviate significantly from the second set. So, I suspect soone tampered with my experint."
