The tone was full of disdain.

Ye Lu’s eyes twitched, such a fair-weather little person. Forget fifty million; she could produce five billion, but she would never give in to soone like that.

"Principal, the auditorium is ready," a staff mber walked in.

The principal, with a aningful look, said, "Since you are here, why don’t you also listen in the auditorium?"

Ye Lu narrowed her eyes. The auditorium, for what purpose?

Upon arrival at the auditorium, she realized it was filled with reporters. Ye Lu frowned—what did the principal need so many reporters for?

No, it must have been Jun Shi. It all had to be Jun Shi’s arrangent, and she was curious to see what trick he would pull.

As it turned out, this mini press conference was actually about her alleged paper fabrication. The principal represented the school in making an announcent about the incident.

"Regarding the paper fabrication by our graduate student Ye Lu, we are deeply sorry and extend our apology to the public!"

The principal, along with a group of university leaders, bowed deeply in front of the caras, with expressions of deep remorse and concern.

The journalists were abuzz, "Does this an you have confird that her paper fabrication is true?"

"Yes, after an investigation validated by several professors from our institution, we found Ye Lu’s paper involved in serious acts of fabrication, which is unbelievably shocking and angering. Our school has always been known for its integrity and strictness in academia, and the ergence of such an academic disgrace is indeed a sha to our school!" the principal declared righteously.

Ye Lu’s complexion changed below them—if the school publicly stated it, her paper was considered fabricated.

Originally, it was just a rumor, not yet verified, but now with the school’s official press conference, her paper fabrication was nailed down as fact, irreversibly! The stigma of academic dishonesty would follow her for life, becoming her greatest blemish.

"Shut up," Ye Lu abruptly stood up, looking coldly at the principal on stage, "In just two days, you concluded I fabricated? Was that enough ti for an investigation? It’s a mockery. Academic inquiries are supposed to be rigorous, following specific procedures, which takes at least a month. You’re in too much of a hurry to condemn . Or perhaps, you are feeling guilty and thus the rush?"

"You... What nonsense are you talking about? Our investigation, of course, followed the procedure strictly."

Ye Lu sneered, "Oh really? Where did you go wrong then? A one-month investigative process squeezed into two days? Then why don’t you show , show everyone, your investigative process and findings. Let’s see if it really was two days or an entire month."

"I’ll show them." The principal snapped, turning on the electronic screen, "These photocopies are the complete process of the investigation into the paper fabrication by Ye Lu. The tiline stretches over more than a month up to now. All pictures and docunts have specific dates and can be verified. Our school absolutely followed the process, conducting a thorough investigation into this fabrication incident, and it has been confird: her paper is definitely a fabrication!"

Ye Lu looked at the materials on the screen, utterly shocked, "How could it possibly be from a month ago?"

"Humph," the principal scoffed, "Soone reported an issue with your paper back then, and we started our investigation. Now, with conclusive evidence, you must be convinced."

Ye Lu’s face turned extrely ugly, her thoughts racing. A month ago, who could have reported her?

Even she didn’t know about her own paper’s fabrication, and yet that person knew, which ans they knew her paper very well.

She had to find this person.

"So how are you going to deal with her?" a journalist imdiately asked.
