Yiyi clenched her head in pain, trying hard to think. There were so very blurry images in her mind. She could sense it was her with her parents, but those images were unclear; she couldn’t make out their appearances nor hear what they were saying.

She made an effort to recall, and the only thing that ca to mind was a stunning scene: a massive ocean whirlpool swallowing everything, a man being swept into the ocean depths, and at that mont, she released the ropes in the air and fell into the sea, getting swept away with him.

Although she couldn’t rember what happened, she could recall that figure being swept away, so familiar, so familiar it made her chest tighten with throbbing pain. She didn’t know who this person was, but he was undoubtedly important to her, or else she wouldn’t have let go of the hand. Was he family, a friend, or soone else?

Why couldn’t she rember?

Yiyi experienced intense emotional fluctuations, holding her head in pain, yet no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t rember.

"Girl, don’t get worked up. You’ve been unconscious for too long; your nervous system is sluggish. It’s normal not to rember things. Once you’ve rested, you’ll slowly recall them," Madam Roland consoled her.

Yiyi understood that the more urgent she was, the more useless it beca.

She could only calm down and focus on healing.

A few days later, Yiyi’s ntal state had greatly improved. Madam Roland had also scanned her brain and found no issues.

But Yiyi still couldn’t rember many things, which was very strange and bewildering. She hadn’t completely lost her mory; she could instinctively recall everything about the world she ca from.

Yet, strangely enough, she couldn’t rember anything about herself, her family, her experiences, or events that had taken place.

She furrowed her brows in frustration; even the na "Yiyi" ca from a gentle, sunlit-like voice in her mind, a voice persistently and sorrowfully calling her, Yiyi, Yiyi...

Whose voice was that? Who was so tenderly calling her? Why did rembering this voice make her heart so restless? She desperately wanted to know who he was and what relationship he had with her.

"Strange. Your condition isn’t total amnesia. You still rember common knowledge, but your personal mories are missing. This is fragnted amnesia," Madam Roland remarked in surprise.

Professor Du Le adjusted his glasses, looking at his wife with suspicion: "Didn’t you say you checked her head and found no trauma? So it’s not amnesia caused by a head injury."

"Uh, could it be a dication issue, an overdose of anesthesia? I haven’t used an anesthetic in quite so ti," Madam Roland admitted uncertainly.

Suddenly, Professor Du Le’s expression changed.

"I think you should check your dication."

Seeing the couple’s expressions, Yiyi imdiately sensed an even more ominous feeling.

A while later, Madam Roland walked in, looking embarrassed, and apologized with a sheepish smile: "Girl, I’m so sorry. I really didn’t notice; the anesthesia had expired, so there were so side effects..."

Yiyi felt a sudden jolt, her vision went black, and she nearly collapsed to the ground.

Expired anesthesia? Such a ridiculous misfortune had befallen her. She couldn’t care less about this world anymore.

"How could you be so careless, injecting expired anesthesia?" Yiyi wanted to cry but had no tears, but they were her rescuers, having saved her from the sea and removed the bullet; otherwise, she would have lost her life.
