Yiyi’s condition was unstable, and she woke up after being in a coma for over ten days.
Madam Roland even suspected she had used the wrong dication. Surgery for a gunshot wound like this, given modern technological standards, wasn’t too complicated. Although she was just a small-town doctor, it was sothing she could handle. The wound wasn’t in a fatal spot, yet Yiyi remained unconscious for such a long ti.
The reason for Yiyi’s coma was complicated; it was partly because her body functioned differently from people here, and partly because the dication used on her was too strong, which caused the prolonged coma.
But in the end, Yiyi woke up.
It made the couple breathe a huge sigh of relief and they were very happy.
Yiyi opened her eyes with a headache, looking at the unfamiliar environnt and the unfamiliar couple sitting by the bedside smiling at her, feeling sowhat bewildered, and inexplicably having a bad feeling.
"Ha, Du Le, see? Even without the high-tech equipnt of a public hospital, using these primitive drugs and apparatus, I can still save her alone. My skills are indeed impressive," Madam Roland said smugly, "Those so-called PhDs with their noses in the air, discriminating against won and kicking out of the city hospital, they really lack vision."
Professor Du Le was quite speechless: "I think their decision wasn’t about discriminating against you, but against your diploma."
Holding a diploma from a veterinary college and daring to mix into a big hospital, it’s an achievent they didn’t send her to jail.
"I... Where am I?" Yiyi felt her head splitting with pain.
Professor Du Le laughed: "Child, this is Yelan Town, a seaside town in Yalan Country."
"Yalan Country?" Yiyi’s beautiful willow eyebrows knitted together. Searching through her dizzy mind, she couldn’t find any information on this country, "Never heard of it, is it in Africa, South Arica, or Asia?"
What kind of place is this? Does it even exist on Earth?
The Dule couple exchanged a bewildered glance: "Africa, South Arica, Asia? We’ve never heard of such places, kid, where are you from?"
"I..." Yiyi patted her head painfully, thought for a long ti before vaguely recalling, "I’m from North Arica, V City."
"That’s absolutely impossible, there’s no North Arica, no V City here, kid, are you sure you rember correctly?"
This ti it was Yiyi’s turn to be shocked.
After an incredible round of communication, Yiyi’s eyes widened in shock, gasping in disbelief.
The world she was in wasn’t Earth. Although it wasn’t that different from Earth, it was a world she’d never heard of before.
Oh my God, what’s happening? How did she end up in such a place? Is this a dream? A sci-fi movie?
Not believing it, she gave herself a hard slap, let out a miserable cry, pitifully caressing her now scorching cheek, and finally discovered that she really wasn’t dreaming.
Damn, she’d crossed over.
"Girl, what’s your na?" Madam Roland saw her face full of painful struggle and asked curiously.
"My na is Jun... Yiyi..." Yiyi suddenly widened her eyes, in an uncertain tone, "My na is Yiyi? Is that my na, why can’t I rember?"
A sense of fear rose inside her. She searched desperately through her mind, only to find a swarm of confusing information attacking her, yet crucial information about herself was missing.
The Dule couple looked at her in astonishnt and showed worried expressions: "You don’t rember who you are? Can you recall your family or what happened to you?"
