Half of the rcenaries that suddenly appeared were also sent to escort them away.

The wilderness returned to a deadly silence filled with ghosts.

The Godfather sat back down on the bench, his deanor suggesting he had no intention of leaving imdiately. Instead, he lifted his chin, his gaze dark and cold like flickering fire, watching the distant convoy of interdiaries grow smaller and nearly disappear from sight!

Ye Lu glanced over and, under the light, saw the bone-chilling coldness in his eyes and an overwhelming, uncontrollable murderous intent. She was suddenly startled.

The Godfather’s gaze looked so sinister as he watched the departing convoy, a bloodthirsty, cold smile directed at the dead, eerie and terrifying.

Could it be that the deal just now was deceitful, and the Godfather never sincerely intended to cooperate with the three bigshots?

Instead, he sought to bring about their demise.

But those bigshots were cunning by nature, clearly experienced big figures having survived many storms. Judging by their expressions, they never trusted the Godfather, remaining vigilant. Would such figures be easily outwitted?

The key must lie in those two boxes. What exactly did the Godfather give them in those two boxes to make them so utterly convinced he wouldn’t make a move against them?

Ye Lu’s mind was a chaotic ss, her heart pounding erratically. The more anxious she beca, the less she could understand. But she had a premonition that this matter was crucial, and she had to quickly figure out the mystery within.

It must relate to the Godfather’s most important plan tonight.

My God, why couldn’t she figure it out? She must have forgotten sothing very important.

She anxiously tried to recall everything that happened today, looking for anything out of place. But thinking back, she had been mostly confined to the villa, and the Godfather hadn’t done anything particularly special.

Images flashed through Ye Lu’s mind one after another, and she suddenly rembered a mundane event.

At noon today, the Godfather had called her over. There was no real reason, he rely warned her a few tis, saying otherwise, she and the child in her womb wouldn’t have it easy.

She had found it perplexing at the ti. Even if the Godfather hadn’t said those words, she understood he wouldn’t easily let her go, so why the redundant warning? He didn’t seem the type to nag, so what was his purpose in calling her for that talk?

Before Ye Lu figured it out, the Godfather withdrew his gaze from the distance.

He turned and smiled at Third Young Master Jun, a smile full of irony and strangeness.

"Actually, I very much dislike those three people. They’ve monopolized the North Arican market for years. Back when my business was still small, they exploited and used . After I rose, they relied on their North Arican influence to secretly suppress , prohibiting my Su Family from entering the market to share profits!"

Third Young Master Jun’s face changed slightly: "You resent them and want revenge?"

The Godfather smiled dismissively: "Business people don’t talk about hatred and resentnt. There are no permanent enemies, nor permanent friends. What they did wasn’t excessive. If I were in their position, I wouldn’t let an ambitious competitor grow either. Naturally, I would try to suppress and eliminate them. However..."

The Godfather’s tone suddenly shifted, icy and full of murderous intent.

"Since I’ve risen, they have remained wary of because of the past, unwilling to truly let enter the North Arican market to make money. Hmph, daring to block the path of Su Feiman, it’s ti for a bloody reshuffle in this big market. Those who cannot be thoroughly exploited by must be—destroyed! And then elevate other interdiaries willing to cooperate with ."

Third Young Master Jun’s face changed drastically, his pupils contracting rapidly.
