"Why are you here?" Ye Lu gazed at him warily, her tone dark and guarded.
Su Feiman let out a hearty laugh, completely dismissing her defensive deanor: "Miss Ye, treating your husband’s Godfather in this manner—aren’t you being a little too disrespectful to your elders?"
Ye Lu’s face grew colder, her voice chilled to the bone: "We have nothing to do with you anymore. This is North Arica, not the Triangle area—you’d best not think of threatening us here."
"How could I dare? Eldest Miss of the Hua Family, backed by both the Ji Family and the Ross Family. However, you claim there’s no connection now—that hurts my feelings. Has King not told you that we, father and son, have already reconciled?"
"What did you say?" Ye Lu stared at him in shock.
Then she turned to look at the silent Third Young Master Jun. His quiet deanor neither denied nor explained; it was a tacit acknowledgnt of the Godfather’s words.
Ye Lu felt a loud ringing in her head. She had never imagined that Jun Huang would return to the Godfather’s camp, once again becoming the Godfather’s lackey.
