"This is a stone tablet engraved with Arcane Wisdom, all you have to do is press your hand against it, and it will automatically release a bout of Arcane Wisdom for a duration of one daylight hour," Riesel pointed at the tablet and said.

Chen Ze wore an expression of utter disgruntlent. What about the promised impartation of Arcane Wisdom? How did it turn into a tablet engraved with Arcane Wisdom after the al?

Could it be that these Otherworld Dragons also had a habit of going back on their word imdiately after eating?

"I originally planned to impart Arcane Wisdom to you, but I realized you don’t have any Magic Power. Without Magic Power, you can’t use Arcane Wisdom, so I brought this out for you," Riesel noticed Chen Ze’s perplexity and explained.

This made Chen Ze feel a bit better. He thought about it and agreed, how could one use skills without MP? Moreover, he wasn’t a powerful being who used other forces, so this tablet was actually more suitable for him.

"So, how many tis can this tablet be used?" Chen Ze took the tablet and examined it, a heavy black stone, engraved with so mysterious patterns.

It seed that these patterns were the Magic Circles, he just didn’t know what effect they would have if he engraved them sowhere else.

"This is an Eternal Magic Array. I’ve infused enough Magic Power for you to use it thousands of tis. If the Magic Power isn’t enough, I’ll co back and refill it for you later," Riesel quickly answered Chen Ze’s question. He planned to return and eat sothing else to satiate his hunger.

"Alright, thank you, and welco to visit again," Chen Ze watched with a smile as the two dragons left the restaurant.

The dragons had just left when Chen Ze pulled out a shovel and a small bottle. He hadn’t forgotten about Sebastian’s drooling incident. But the floor was clean, devoid of any residue, which caused Chen Ze a bit of stomachache. That was a fortune worth millions.

"Forget it... Anyway, selling it would also be taken by the System," Chen Ze sighed.

Now that the language issue was resolved, it was ti to improve his cooking, and then find a mont to sort out the Troll business. Chen Ze rembered the spear that nearly burst his head, and its owner, filling him with such rage he wanted to scatter the Troll’s ashes.

anwhile, Riesel, having left the Dream Restaurant, felt very anxious.

For so reason, since leaving the Dream Restaurant, Sebastian’s gaze had been off, staring unblinkingly at him, not to ntion the constant drooling.

Riesel ticulously inspected his own body, as massive and beautiful as ever, with golden scales that glowed dazzlingly under the light of the Negative Plane’s Abyssal Ring.

"Sebastian, why are you staring at ?" Riesel couldn’t bear it any longer, and finally spoke up.

"Riesel... you look exceptionally alluring to Dragons today," Sebastian wiped the drool from the corner of his mouth, his eyes still fixed on Riesel.

Riesel instinctively cast a Protection From Evil Magic on himself, sensing sothing very off about his companion.

"Protection from Evil? Damn it, Riesel, aren’t we friends?" Sebastian took a deep breath, planning to approach Riesel.

"No, our friendship is just right as it is. Moreover, the way you drooled earlier was truly disgusting. I’ve already dealt with the saliva in the restaurant with magic, rember to thank for that," Riesel flapped his wings vigorously, flying off a good distance.

The instant Sebastian had drawn near, Riesel had almost lost control and lashed out, so obvious was the ill intent.

Sebastian sniffed again, confirming it wasn’t his imagination. Since coming out together, Riesel had been emitting a pleasant scent that made him exceptionally enticing to Dragons.

And this scent was making it increasingly difficult for Sebastian to bear the hunger. If not for Riesel’s quick flight earlier, he would have hardly resisted the urge to take a bite.

"Hey, Riesel, stop right there!" Sebastian flapped his wings and sped after Riesel.

Even if he couldn’t eat Riesel, just looking at Riesel ant he could devour several Thunder Rhinoceroses.

Chen Ze had no idea that his recent burst of good luck had caused Riesel such trouble. He was now in his boss’s office, filling out his resignation application.

"Chen Ze, why are you suddenly thinking of resigning?" Chen Ze’s imdiate superior, a plump man rubbing his large belly, curiously inquired.

"The world is so big..."

"If you dare say you want to go see it, you should consider whether your salary might get docked a bit."

"Cough cough, due to a family ergency, I have no choice but to resign." Chen Ze gave up the idea of being cheeky under the allure of money.

The plump man stroked his hair. He truly hadn’t expected Chen Ze, the most diligent employee in the entire company, to suddenly resign. He always thought that Chen Ze would work at his company for many years.

After handling things for an afternoon, Chen Ze finally finished handing over his work. Carrying his belongings, Chen Ze turned to look at the office building bathed in the sunset’s afterglow, feeling sowhat mixed.

Still, he abandoned the idea of being sentintal. Compared to that, he was more eager to fill his stomach and ponder what his next dish should be.

Back at the restaurant, Chen Ze casually closed the door, locked it, and then dove into the kitchen to begin his experintal work.

"You made a terrible pasta dish; pasta-making experience increased by 0.5 point."

Chen Ze looked at the black object in the pot and his mouth twitched a few tis. He had just wanted to make a chive pocket, but it had burnt.

Using a pair of chopsticks, Chen Ze removed the black object from the pot and placed it on a plate. Because it hadn’t been ford properly, the chive pocket had fallen apart and the filling had leaked out.

"This is not what I had in mind at all," Chen Ze dumped the failure into the trash can.

This was a dish he had thought of while having dinner that evening, sothing he enjoyed a lot since he had it every morning.

Although it couldn’t be the main al, it was still a pretty good choice for breakfast or a snack. Unfortunately, despite following the recipe strictly, he ended up with sothing like this.

"I refuse to believe this!" Chen Ze twisted his neck, determined not to let the chive pocket get the better of him today.

After toiling for an hour, Chen Ze finally managed to make a rather ordinary-looking chive pocket.

"You made a very bad pasta dish; pasta-making experience increased by 23 points."

"You made a bad chive pocket; pasta-making experience increased by 0.75 point."

"It seems it really is quite bad." Chen Ze silently spat out the chive pocket in his mouth into the trash can and then rinsed with so tea.

Though it hadn’t fallen apart, the taste of the filling could only be described as nauseating.

Maybe I should ask that breakfast vendor tomorrow morning?

"Brother, when it cos to cooking, our family could probably be divided into three categories. One is the food mom and dad make, delicious, the kind that you can eat several big bowls of."

"The second is what I make, tasty, the kind that leaves you wanting more after you finish."

"The third category is you, the kind where eating it makes one wonder if you’re out to commit robbery or murder." Chen Ze thought about his sister’s assessnt of him and felt it was quite accurate.
