"Mr. Moriarty, here is the dish you ordered." Betty approached with a smile and then placed a light cheesecake and a cup of cherry juice on the table.

"Thank you, beautiful Miss," Moriarty said with a smile, taking the fork and knife and slowly eating the cake on the plate.

"The manager’s desserts are as delicious as always," Moriarty was very satisfied. The flavor of this light cheesecake was much better than any he had tasted in London, and with the unique cherry juice, the taste was even more enticing.

"Thanks for the complint," Chen Ze smiled and nodded, then returned to the kitchen, intending to prepare a new dish.

However, before Chen Ze could pick up the kitchen knife, he saw Betty walk in with a look of ingratiation on her face.

"What’s the matter?" Chen Ze asked, puzzled, as there didn’t seem to be anything else to eat at the mont, except for a few Goubuli buns.

"Manager~" Betty’s tail wagged from side to side, causing the corner of Chen Ze’s mouth to twitch.

He rembered the last ti Betty wagged her tail like that was when she wanted him to buy her a ga console, and now she was wagging her tail again, so there must be sothing else she wanted.

"What is it now?" Chen Ze asked, his face expressionless as he looked at Betty.

"It’s just that... I want to buy so drinks and then take them to my world to sell, what do you think?" Betty clasped her hands together and looked at Chen Ze with a pleading face.

"Drinks? Sure, we have Coca Cola and Sprite in the kitchen. I’ve bought plenty, so if you want so, just take it. But you’ll have to pay with Gold Coins," Chen Ze said nonchalantly, waving his hand dismissively at the trivial request.

In his restaurant, there were dozens of beverages available for free to the custors, and of course, there were also special flavors reserved for Lafra.

After all, Lafra was particularly fond of cherry-flavored Coca Cola, which for a ti left Chen Ze utterly bewildered.

In Chen Ze’s opinion, cherry-flavored Coca Cola was still an acquired taste he couldn’t accept. In the end, he just chalked it up to the vampire’s peculiar palate.

"Not those, I want to buy so Laoshan Snake Flower Hundred Grass Water and also so Coriander Juice," said Betty, increasing the frequency of her tail wagging, but Chen Ze was taken aback.

"Huh?" Chen Ze cleared his ears, deeply doubting whether he had heard correctly.

"How much grudge do you have against those custors, and what big grievance?" Chen Ze’s mouth twitched.

Laoshan White Flower Snake Grass Water, Chen Ze was of course familiar with this notorious concoction, once ranked as the number one dark beverage of Huaxia, and had even caused many food bloggers to release nurous videos about it.

But Chen Ze felt it necessary to speak out in defense of Laoshan White Flower Snake Grass Water. Originally, it was ant as a pure health drink, and its herbal taste was intrinsic to it.

It was only because it was categorized as a beverage that people subconsciously compared it with the likes of Coca Cola and Sprite, only to find out it was incredibly hard to drink.

While Chen Ze could understand and trust Laoshan White Flower Snake Grass Water, Coriander Juice was sothing he truly could not fathom.

As everyone knows, coriander is a rather unique herb. Those who love it wish to see its tender green presence in every dish, while those who hate it cannot tolerate even the slightest hint of it.

But even Chen Ze, who had a relatively strong capacity for acceptance, simply couldn’t stomach it; after all, using coriander to make a drink is truly...

Chen Ze didn’t know how to express his feelings; he could only say that from the mont he knew about this drink, his innermost reaction was to refuse, although it might also be because he wasn’t the type who loved coriander.

"Hehe, I just wanted to try and see if I could win over so custors living in Sky City with it," Betty scratched her head and stuck out her tongue.

"What kind of custor would like a dark beverage? Why don’t you add so Frog Juice to it too?" Chen Ze had a look of utter disbelief.

"Eh? Frog Juice? What’s that like?" Betty’s interest was suddenly piqued.

"Frog Juice, if I rember correctly, is a drink from one country where they throw a frog into a juicer and shred it to bits, swallowing it whole." Chen Ze thought for a mont and still gave a response.

"Yuck," Betty shook her head; this couldn’t seriously be considered a drink, could it? Instead of calling it a drink, it seed more like a dark cuisine.

"But I have no choice; the guests from Sky City don’t like the drinks we introduce. They say the flavors are too mainstream. They claim that as artists, they only consu things of real taste," Betty said with a look of defeat. She had heard about this from Alisa when she returned to the parallel world the previous day.

The burger fast food operation, which had gone smoothly everywhere else, faced collective resistance when it was introduced to Sky City, particularly because the burgers weren’t ’artistic’ enough.

This left Betty sowhat confused; she didn’t understand how burgers could be associated with art.

It wasn’t until Alisa contacted her specifically with a Communication Magic Crystal to explain the stakes involved.

"Betty, you need to understand that Sky City is now the artistic capital of the entire Pri Material Plane. If they have a low opinion of us, it might even affect the sales in other countries!" Alisa’s tone was filled with anger, which Betty could feel even through the Communication Magic Crystal.

"Artists? What kind of artists are they? I can’t make heads or tails of their work. For them, the more niche and unique it is, the better it represents their taste!" Betty mocked in a convincing manner.

A smirk twitched at the corner of Chen’s mouth; these Sky City folks sounded just like so of the so-called ’great minds’ nowadays, using sensational items and masquerading them as art.

"Given that, I’ll buy a batch for you tonight. In the anti, perhaps you should really consider preparing so Frog Juice for those custors with a juicer," Chen Ze nodded; he agreed to go along with this.

"Long live the manager!" Betty jumped up excitedly, her tail wagging back and forth.

"Alright, go back to the restaurant, Professor Moriarty is waiting for you," Chen Ze said with a smile. If he could help with this sort of thing, he didn’t mind lending a hand; besides, he was also curious to see what the artists from Sky City would think of these dark cuisines.

"Mr. Manager, I’ll take my leave," Moriarty’s voice ca through.

"Of course, Professor, could this al be paid for with so interesting stories or knowledge?" Chen Ze walked out with a smile, having little interest in British Pounds from another world.

"Stories or interesting knowledge, you say?" Moriarty looked at Chen Ze with intrigue.
