Chen Ze watched Betty’s retreating figure, helplessly rubbed his temples. Betty’s idea was nice, but Chen Ze couldn’t help but speak up.

"Betty, please take Miss Rose upstairs first," Chen Ze sighed. Miss Rose could be said to have really bad luck; she got drunk as soon as she arrived and then just kept lying in the restaurant, sleeping.

Moreover, Chen Ze saw very clearly that Miss Rose was in great pain in her sleep, her face was contorted, and one could tell at a glance that she was having a nightmare.

And considering that the person with slly feet was sitting near Miss Rose, Chen Ze was certain the content of the dream couldn’t be good.

"Okay, Manager," Betty nodded, then carried the still sleeping Rose upstairs.

Lin Hua looked at Betty awkwardly; he had seen the pretty waitress frowning earlier.

Anxiously, Lin Hua rubbed his feet; he hadn’t changed his shoes or socks for half a month now, although he had washed them with the water from the toilet, but they weren’t dry when he was forced to leave.

Chen Ze was making braised pork rice while observing the custors sitting in the restaurant.

Ragged clothes, black clothes, but the cuffs were shiny, which left Chen Ze not knowing what to say.

The shiny cuffs weren’t due to wax, Chen Ze was sure of that; the cuffs had probably beco this way because they were too dirty.

However, even though that was what he thought, Chen Ze’s cooking speed was still very fast, and in no ti, he made a decent dish of braised pork rice, then had Betty take it out.

"Please... um... enjoy your al, sir," Betty said with an unnatural smile on her face, trying hard to walk over and place the braised pork rice in front of Lin Hua.

"Thank you..." Lin Hua murmured his thanks, not out of shyness from seeing Betty but purely out of sha.

"Gurgle..." A loud sound fully demonstrated the owner’s true state of hunger.

"I’m, sorry!" Lin Hua lowered his head, his face redder, with an even stronger sense of sha in his heart.

"Please enjoy, custor," Betty said with a smile, stepping aside and then held her breath for a dozen seconds before relaxing quite a bit.

Lin Hua practically inhaled the rice, and Chen Ze seed to have considered sothing; he had given almost double the amount of rice for this serving of braised pork rice.

The greasy braised pork, the oily tofu soaked in soup, and the rice drenched in sauce mixed together, giving Lin Hua a feeling that he could die from eating.

Betty stood in the restaurant with a smile on her face, but the corners of her eyes kept watch over the custor who was wolfing down his al.

Having served many custors for so long, Betty had seen few eat like Lin Hua, even very few of the very few.

Betty had never seen such a custor before; he took large bites, ate quickly, and Betty always felt like the other party didn’t chew at all—one serving of rice, just a few bites, and it was gone.

This left Betty wondering, didn’t this person feel the heat?

Betty eyed her hand doubtfully; she was sure that when she had served the braised pork rice just now, it was still very hot.

Then Betty glanced again at Lin Hua, who was scarfing down his food, seemingly oblivious to the temperature altogether.

Betty beca even more suspicious that sothing was wrong with her. Out of instinct, she pinched her own fingers. It hurt, so it seed that there was no problem.

Chen Ze stood in the kitchen, pouring himself a chilled Coca Cola. He took a leisurely sip, his eyes fixed on the custor.

It wasn’t that the custor was more handso than Daniel Wu or prettier than Liu Yifei, but Chen Ze always felt that the person was hiding sothing.

That look, that attitude, it gave Chen Ze a sense of déjà vu, like being a kid who forgot to do his howork and telling the teacher he forgot to bring it when the teacher was checking.

Chen Ze shook his head. With so many custors, there were no shortage of those hiding secrets. Chen Ze wouldn’t go out of his way to ask, so things would continue as they were.

Chen Ze opened the braising pot to check, and under the effect of Quadruple Speed, the whole pot looked extrely bizarre, with bubbles rising rapidly, and the water level visibly dropping.

But the Edelman Wild Boar tail was like a stone in a boiling kettle, showing no change at all, which made Chen Ze seriously doubt whether there was sothing wrong with his cooking thod.

"Manager, I’ll wash the dishes," Betty walked in and loudly announced before holding her chest and gasping for air.

"What’s wrong?" Chen Ze looked at Betty, who had a relieved expression on her face.

"Phew, Manager, I really can’t take it anymore. That person’s stench, it’s enveloping the whole restaurant. I feel like I stink now," Betty complained in a low voice, then turned on the faucet to start washing the stir-fry pan.

"...You have worked hard." Chen Ze felt sowhat speechless. Shouldn’t such custors be asked to leave? After all, they seed like they were here to cause trouble.

The sound of the Wind Chi, clear and lodious, was especially pleasant. Usually, that would an a custor had entered, so Betty, despite her suffering, went out to greet them.

"Welco to Dream Restaurant, dear...huh?" Betty stared dumbfounded at the empty restaurant, with not a soul in sight, including the one who had just been eating.

Only the very cleanly eaten dishes and utensils attested to the fact that soone had indeed been there eating, and the stench in the air was further proof of this.

"Manager! Manager! That person just left without paying!" Betty ran in frantically, this being the first ti she had encountered such a custor.

"Huh?" Chen Ze was a bit confused, then he too looked around the restaurant, confirming that the custor who had just had a serving of braised pork with rice had run off.

Typically, such an act in the restaurant was called a ’dine and dash,’ and when that happened, the waiter and the shift leader would usually be fined; if they could let a perfectly good person escape, who else would be fined?

However, Chen Ze did not bla Betty, nor did he have any intention of docking her pay. He just pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling slightly helpless.

Now Chen Ze understood why the custor had had a strange expression since he ca in; turns out, he had no money to pay for his al and planned to skip out on his bill.

"Sigh, forget it, just clean up the dishes," Chen Ze shook his head, perhaps the other person had his own unspeakable difficulties.

However... how could a seemingly able-bodied man resort to skipping out on his bill?

Chen Ze was perplexed, even street artists doing day jobs could afford a al, right?

Chen Ze then rembered his System and the Magic Circle of the restaurant; it seed there was no feature to prevent custors from dining and dashing.

"But this sll really is...sufficiently eye-watering."
