There are always certain things or events in the world that are born miracles after countless unimaginable collisions, and Shawen always believed this to be true.

"Daddy, why don’t you ever eat anything?" Shawen asked curiously, looking at her father. She rembered that her father had been taking her around for several weeks now, but she had never seen him eat or drink anything.

"It’s because Daddy eats when Shawen is asleep," the man said with a smile, looking at his daughter.

Shawen nodded, half understanding. Under her father’s care over this ti, she had grown a lot. She learned to distinguish between poisonous and non-poisonous plants, how to make traps, and even a bit of marksmanship.

"Daddy! Look, isn’t this pretty?" Shawen fetched a sunflower from a small cabinet, its bright colors appeared so beautiful.

"It’s very pretty, Shawen is the cutest of all, but this way, the sunflower will slowly die because it’s away from the soil," the man squatted in front of his daughter, gazing into her eyes.

"Then... what should we do..." Shawen panicked, and seeing his daughter flustered, the man couldn’t help but smile slightly, his eyes filled with endless sorrow.

"Plant the sunflower back into the soil. Even if it may still die, at least its seeds can continue its life after death, and it will live on strongly," the man steadied his daughter’s shoulders.

"Okay!" Shawen nodded. She grabbed a small shovel and replanted the sunflower back into the soil.

Chen Ze watched Shawen with curiosity. This female custor ate with great proficiency, handled the chopsticks very well, and even ordered stir-fried water bamboo with at, which made Chen Ze think she must be from another Parallel Earth.

After all, stir-fried water bamboo with at was a dish that had never been ordered by custors since Chen Ze added it to the nu.

Shawen squinted her eyes in satisfaction. The food here was truly a godsend. The salt used was very pure, without any impurities, and so much better than the coarse salt she usually ate.

And was that MSG? Heaven knows how long she hadn’t had it. The ocean was now a forbidden zone for humans. Even the formidable new humans were reluctant to risk their lives at sea.

Gigantic octopuses thousands of ters long, sharks weighing hundreds of tons, creatures that once existed only in human fantasies, now all appeared alive and brought about catastrophic disasters to humanity.

In an era when life and death were uncertain, it was tear-jerking for Shawen to be able to eat MSG again.

Betty wiped the table while stealthily glimpsing at Shawen, not sure why, but the woman seed like she wanted to cry?

As a Succubus, Betty had a hunch, feeling that the girl indeed seed a bit tearful.

"Did the boss make so sort of dark cuisine again?" Betty muttered to herself. It had to be said, the food Chen Ze had her try before left a deep impression, and Betty felt it would be a long ti before she could be happy again.

One bite to fall down, two bites to ascend to heaven, three bites to reincarnate, it was simply the best interpretation for the dark cuisines she had just ntioned.

Chen Ze, of course, had no idea that Betty had made up another story about him, and if he had known, he certainly wouldn’t have minded putting Betty through another cycle of reincarnation. After all, there’s a whole bunch of dark cuisine recipes and ideas available online, and Chen Ze was certainly not short of them.

Chen Ze was intently grilling eel, having just had an idea. Previously, he had used Moonlight Mushroom to make a sauce, so could it an that Moonlight Mushroom could also be paired with eel to create an even more delicious dish?

Chen Ze was eager to try, having already tasted the sweetness of inventing new dishes, he truly didn’t want to give up this possibility. A new dish could bring Chen Ze the experience of dozens or hundreds of other dishes.

After a while, Chen Ze dejectedly bowed his head; it seed that not just any combination of precious ingredients would result in a delicacy.

The Moonlight Mushroom didn’t pair well with eel at all, and Chen Ze even thought it was a bit overwhelming; the taste of the Moonlight Mushroom completely masked the eel’s flavor, making it hard to recognize as a fish dish and instead feeling like there was too much mushroom.

Shawen walked silently on the road, surrounded by broken buildings and overgrown weeds. She moved as if she were in her own ho, not looking where she was going yet skillfully avoiding every obstacle.

"Bang!" Shawen casually shook her Winchester and then hauled the creature that had tried to ambush her onto her shoulder, continuing her silent trek ho.

Back in her room, Shawen squatted on the ground, looking at the small sprout with a happy smile. Then, hugging her legs, she watched the sprout as mories of the past ca flooding back.

"How much?" Shawen stretched satisfyingly, feeling that even if she had to pay with all her possessions, it would be worth it; considering the deliciousness alone, she thought that everything she had eaten before was simply crap.

Nutrition blocks made of cockroaches were especially revolting; tender, delicious at and a variety of rich ingredients were what people should be eating.

Chen Ze showed another five fingers, and Shawen nodded, then took out five tal Coins from her bosom, placed them on the table, and walked out with her Winchester.

Chen Ze’s face was pained with a stomach ache; these things were of no use to him at all, it seed his collection of strange items had grown once again.

"Manager, the custor just now forgot sothing." Betty hurried into the kitchen and handed a pendant to Chen Ze.

Chen Ze took it and looked inside, there was a photo of a girl and a sprouting plant, with a line of peculiar text underneath that looked like English.

Chen Ze opened Baidu Translate and saw that it was indeed English, which read "My dear father."

Chen Ze put the pendant away, it must be sothing precious, and to the custor from before, he thought that if it were him, he would surely co back for it next ti.

"Betty, you can clock out now." Chen Ze checked his phone; it was getting late. It looked like Hastur wouldn’t be returning today either, no telling if the lord was always busy with filming.

anwhile, in the self-sealed realm of Hastur, Nyarlathotep was looking at Hastur with a frown, although Hastur’s expression seed very innocent. Nyarlathotep always felt that if he were cut open, his inside would be completely black.

"I think, you owe an explanation," Nyarlathotep said with a smile, then transford back into a creeping chaos, an ominous presence that shot straight up to the sky.
