She suddenly beca tense.
Wen Ran glanced at the bedside table in the bedroom and saw a wireless charger placed on it, next to a delicately crafted lamp.
She didn’t look any further because, from the corner of her eye, she saw Fu Chenlie taking off his white shirt!
His upper body was completely exposed.
Despite the tense situation, Wen Ran couldn’t ignore his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and the clearly defined six-pack abs on his lower abdon.
She imagined the feel of his abs as quickly as she could, guessing... were they rock-hard?!
Fu Chenlie moved closer.
Wen Ran instantly snapped back to reality.
When he was about ten centiters from her, she suddenly kicked her legs out at him.

Without thinking, Wen Ran denied it, "I wasn’t kicking you, I was..."
He leaned in another inch, pressing her intensely as he asked, "You were what?"
She made up a hasty excuse, "I had a cramp in my leg, I couldn’t control it just now."
"Is that so?"
After he dropped those words, Fu Chenlie didn’t give Wen Ran a chance to respond because he suddenly yanked her foot forward.
Wen Ran slid to the edge of the bed, the distance between them instantly narrowing.
The magnified handso face in front of her stared straight into her eyes, his deep voice entering her ears, "With things this far, are you still thinking of rejecting ?"
Wen Ran thought it best to temporarily compromise, her eyes wet as she looked at him and countered with a question, "Do you really want to sleep with ?"
"What do you think?"
"Then fine, have it your way."
His brow slightly raised, seemingly surprised.
But since she didn’t refuse again, he didn’t waste words and his other hand clasped the back of her head and kissed her.
Wen Ran’s heart thudded, but not from excitent, it was from nervousness.
As she lay down on the bed with him, she instinctively picked up the wireless charger from the bedside table.
Next to her, the man’s breathing grew louder, and just as his kiss lingered from her cheek to her neck...
With all her might, Wen Ran smashed the wireless charger on Fu Chenlie’s head.
The man’s muffled groan tily entered her ears.
Then, she felt all his movents cease.
At that mont, Wen Ran realized that having the resolve to face death was one thing but actually facing it brought a whole different level of fear inside her.
She had actually hit Fu Chenlie.

But that wasn’t the most important part.
Because she soon felt a sticky liquid flowing from Fu Chenlie’s head onto her neck.
Was it blood?!
At that mont, Wen Ran’s fear turned to alarm, to concern.
She threw the charger aside, pushing the man on her, her voice trembling with tension, "Mr. Fu, are... are you alright?"
He slowly got up.
She saw his handso face terrifyingly grim, and also saw the fresh blood on his clean cheek, the skin and blood mingling on his face like a grotesque night spirit.
One phrase dominated Wen Ran’s mind—
Utterly shocking.
Panicked, she started stamring, "You... you’re bleeding..."
