In Wen Ran’s view, a kiss should have ended there!
She looked up at him with an utterly baffled expression, "I did kiss you, why do we need to continue?"
After Wen Ran expressed her confusion, she heard a counter-question that redefined her understanding, "You kissed , have you fallen for now?"
She was utterly speechless.
But still, she tried to keep her cool and forced a smile, "This... doesn’t happen that fast, right?"
He responded seriously, "It hasn’t, that’s why I’m telling you to keep going."
Wen Ran, "..."
Did Fu Chenlie have so misunderstanding about how feelings are developed?
She kindly tried to explain to him, "It needs to happen bit by bit. It’s not like you can do all the things to develop feelings in one day and expect them to just be there. Ti is also very important."
Then, she stared at him and asked, "Husband, you’re so smart, you should be able to understand what I an, right?"
"Since you know ti is important, why did you back away after just one kiss just now?"
"That’s not the ti I was talking about."
"Then what ti are you referring to?"
"It’s..."
Wen Ran didn’t know how to continue.
Just as she was lost for words, Fu Chenlie spoke again, "Weren’t you just asking where to kiss? Now, kiss on the mouth."
Her eyes widened in surprise.
Just a mont ago, when she asked him where to kiss, he had said anywhere, so she casually kissed his face, and now he’s telling her to kiss... on the mouth?!
That’s not how this should work at all.
Wen Ran felt like weeping but couldn’t, for the man standing in front of her had absolute power over her.
She couldn’t defy him.
"Did I not make myself clear? What are you waiting for?" he began to hurry her.
Wen Ran felt a bit dazed.
After living for 22 years, she had never had any physical contact with the opposite sex before Fu Chenlie, let alone a kiss.
Before today, she had never imagined that her first kiss would happen under the coercion of soone else.
But now, it had co to this.
Well, might as well do it right if it’s worth doing at all. After all, he is her husband, her spouse—it’s normal to kiss him.
With that thought, Wen Ran went on tiptoe again, her bright and clear eyes wide open as she aid for his lips and leaned in.
As the distance closed, her face began to blush little by little.
In Fu Chenlie’s eyes, Wen Ran’s cheeks were clean and fair after a bath, now tinted with a glow that seethed from beneath the skin, making her all the more enticing.
Watching her getting closer and closer, sothing akin to anticipation began to grow inside him.
Upon reflection, he realized that he had never truly anticipated anything before.
As this thought surfaced, subtle changes flickered in his dark eyes.
Wen Ran was ntally preparing herself for the kiss and naturally did not notice the change in Fu Chenlie’s eyes, until he, with a hint of anger, threw at her, "How much longer will you dawdle?"
She bit her lip, tempted to curse.
What’s with the rush?
Is it not okay to be nervous the first ti?
The man spoke again, this ti with a threatening tone, "If you wait any longer, I will..."
Fu Chenlie left his sentence hanging.
Because Wen Ran, determined to shut him up, bravely kissed him and sealed his lips.
The man’s eyes, usually cold and proud, softened when he felt the tender touch on his lips.
His gaze shifted, and he looked down at the woman pressing her mouth to his own.
Wen Ran’s heart was about to burst out of her chest, her face so red it seed about to bleed.
She kept her mouth on his lips for a whole second, thinking it was sufficiently longer than before, and was about to pull away.
However—
Just as she was about to draw back, Wen Ran suddenly felt his strong hand on her waist, and she was drawn against his body...
