After grumbling to herself, Wen Ran offered a different reply, "How would I understand the matters of the business world, just a driver? Mr. Fu, you’re an old hand at the marketplace. You must have a clear assessnt of which deals to make and which not to make. There’s no need to ask soone like who knows nothing."
Fu Chenlie ignored the phone that kept ringing and responded at his own leisurely pace, "From a risk assessnt standpoint, investing in Huasheng Technology is a good choice; however, I really don’t like Tan Qiming. What would you say I should do?"
"Why don’t you like Tan Qiming? What’s wrong with him?"
"He covets you."
Wen Ran was a bit stunned.
Fu Chenlie had been in business for so many years, could he really not separate public from private?

Fu Chenlie’s eyes sparkled with amusent upon hearing her words, and he spoke with a smirk barely disguising a laugh, "That depends on what you say."
"You should refuse."
"Oh?"
He feigned surprise, chuckling lightly, "Does Mrs. Fu an to suggest that I should pass up the chance to make money?"
Wen Ran challenged him, "If you don’t want to cooperate in your heart, why force yourself? Just refuse and spare yourself the discomfort. Besides, you’re not short of money. If you wanted to make money, I’m sure there are plenty of other ways. You don’t need Huasheng Technology’s business."
After listening to her, Fu Chenlie scoffed coldly, "Mrs. Fu, are you purposely saying this to make agree to cooperate with Tan Qiming?"
Caught at a red light, Wen Ran stepped on the brakes.
Then, turning her head towards him, she asked in a relaxed manner, "But if I said you should agree to cooperate, wouldn’t you think I’m suggesting you conspire with Tan Qiming?"
He raised his eyebrows, "Oh?"
"Anyway, no matter what I say, you’ll interpret it according to your own thoughts, won’t you?"
"Since when does Mrs. Fu understand so well?"
Wen Ran laughed, "Well, you are my husband after all, and my boss. After spending so many days together, wouldn’t it be normal to have so understanding of you?"
"I thought perhaps you were secretly in love with , studying behind my back."
"If the boss thinks so, then that would be a big misunderstanding."
Fu Chenlie snorted lightly.
Wen Ran didn’t engage him any further.
Tan Qiming’s call had already been disconnected once and now started ringing a second ti.
Fu Chenlie spoke as if it was a great hassle, "Seeing as Mr. Tan is so persistent, I suppose I can reluctantly take his call."

That’s what she thought, but she didn’t voice it out loud. What she hadn’t expected, however, was that
when Fu Chenlie answered the call, he turned on the speaker.
Tan Qiming’s voice ca through first, "Mr. Fu, about our cooperation, what are your thoughts now?"
"I’m still considering it."
"If I rember correctly, this is the third ti I’ve called to ask about the progress since I left Fu Group the other day. If Mr. Fu is unwilling to cooperate with Huasheng Technology, you can just say so. Or, could Mr. Fu tell if you have any concerns about our cooperation?"
Concerns?!
He had no concerns, but he was displeased.
Displeased that this Tan Qiming, who was hoping Fu Group would invest money, was coveting his wife!
