Wen Ran felt increasingly that sothing was amiss.

However, when combined with his previous several suggestions about wanting children, plus his comnt today about becoming the man she likes in order to have children,

it wasn’t very hard to comprehend.

All of Fu Chenlie’s concessions and tolerance were for the sake of children.

But even to this day, Wen Ran still hasn’t figured out his true reason for wanting a child.

...

The next day.

Wen Ran, acting as a driver, drove Fu Chenlie to work at the Fu Group.

On the way, while waiting for a red light, she glanced at the man in the passenger seat and saw him sitting upright with a cold expression. She then silently withdrew her gaze.

But her act of "peeping" was noticed by Fu Chenlie.

His indifferent voice carried a touch of coldness, "If you have sothing to say, just say it."

"I wanted to ask if I qualify as a driver yet? You said you’d teach to drive for five days and if I wasn’t up to par, you’d let ..."

The words "get lost" reached the tip of her tongue, but Wen Ran stopped in ti and chose a different term, "have leave. Although you haven’t taught for five days, I have already managed to safely drive you from Huan Island Villa to the Fu Group headquarters, so do I qualify?"

Fu Chenlie nonchalantly uttered a sound that indicated agreent.

She smiled a little and assured him while looking at him, "Okay, boss, got it. I’ll definitely drive well."

He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, "The light’s green. Didn’t you see?"

"Oh, I’m going right now..." Saying that, Wen Ran started driving the car again.

After arriving at the company, Wen Ran, as usual, took the staff elevator up.

Fu Chenlie took the executive elevator straight up to his office.

Since Fu Chenlie had no plans to go out in the morning, Wen Ran stayed in the rest area and read a book.

However, around ten, CEO Zhou from the finance departnt ca looking for Mr. Fu.

Seeing this CEO Zhou, Wen Ran couldn’t focus on her book anymore.

After all, CEO Zhou was an outstanding woman who coveted Fu Chenlie.

She was curious, how does an outstanding woman woo the successful man she likes?

But it seed that CEO Zhou didn’t have any particularly good tactics, as Wen Ran overheard in the drivers’ rest area her once again bringing up the matter of asking Mr. Fu to dinner, though it was unclear how many tis she had asked this of Mr. Fu.

Outside the drivers’ rest area, in the executive office.

Fu Chenlie took the docunts handed over by CEO Zhou and, as usual, checked them with an expressionless face.

While he was reviewing the docunts, CEO Zhou pursed her lips and cautiously asked, "Mr. Fu, do you have ti after work today?"

He didn’t look up, responding nonchalantly, "Is there sothing you need?"

"I... I’d like to invite you to dinner."

Dinner?

Fu Chenlie paused for a mont in his thoughts.

If he rembered correctly, Wen Ran had said yesterday that today she was going to a newly opened hot pot restaurant at the shopping center with friends.

The man looked up at CEO Zhou, "Where are we going?"

CEO Zhou was montarily flustered, "Ah?"

Apparently, she hadn’t expected Mr. Fu to ask such a question. Due to the nurous rejections, she was already prepared to be turned down again when she made the invitation.

But he actually responded by asking her where they were going?

Could it be that he was about to accept?

Seeing that CEO Zhou was flustered, Fu Chen furrowed his brows to remind her, "Wasn’t CEO Zhou going to invite to dinner?"

"Oh... yes."

A happy smile appeared on CEO Zhou’s face, and she spoke excitedly, slightly flustered, "A Western al, oh... there’s a Western restaurant outside the company with good flavors. If Mr. Fu doesn’t mind, shall we give it a try?"
