Qiu Zhengxun’s gaze shifted slightly, seemingly puzzled about where Wen Ran found such an outstanding boyfriend.

Perhaps it was the murderous look in Fu Chenlie’s eyes, but Qiu Zhengxun averted his gaze first, turning to Wen Ran with a smile, "Ranran, this is your boyfriend, right? He’s quite handso. What does he do, and which school did he graduate from?"

Wen Ran gave an awkward smile.

Qiu Zhengxun was the PhD her Grandma always talked about.

He had just asked Fu Chenlie which school he had graduated from, probably trying to subtly inquire about his educational background.

But even she didn’t know which school Fu Chenlie had graduated from.

As Wen Ran pondered over how to respond to Qiu Zhengxun...

Fu Chenlie looked down at him and said, "I am Wen Ran’s husband, not her boyfriend. I graduated from Columbia University at the age of 22 with a master’s degree in Business Administration, directly after my bachelor’s. May I ask, sir, what advice do you have for ?"

Hearing this, Wen Ran looked at him in surprise.

Fu Chenlie was the type who didn’t engage in casual conversations with strangers, and today, out of nowhere, he had reported his credentials very clearly.

What was he thinking?

After the man finished speaking, Qiu Zhengxun’s face stiffened slightly.

Although he was a PhD, he had never studied abroad.

He didn’t think studying abroad was anything impressive.

But securing a master’s degree from a prestigious international university at the age of 22, this man might not necessarily be less accomplished than him if he continued studying.

Listening to Fu Chenlie’s introduction, Wen Ran also felt a bit stunned.

It sounded very impressive.

But she recovered sooner than Qiu Zhengxun, "Brother Zhengxun, what are you holding in your hand?"

He then looked at her tily, handing over what he held while saying, "Oh, this is so sweet potato flour my mom asked to bring you. She said that since you’re in the city area, buying this would be troubleso, so she asked to bring so to you."

Wen Ran accepted it, "Thank you, Brother Zhengxun."

He smiled, "You’re welco."

After the conversation, Qiu Zhengxun looked at Wen Ran, his expression a mix of disappointnt and regret, "Ranran, is he really your husband? When did you get married secretly?"

Fu Chenlie, listening to Qiu Zhengxun, knew—

He was interested in Wen Ran!

Perfect, just the fourth person we needed for mahjong!

The man looked coolly at Wen Ran, as if he wanted to devour her.

But Wen Ran wasn’t looking at him, so naturally, she didn’t notice his mood.

She gave Qiu Zhengxun an awkward yet polite smile and responded, "We got married recently, just registered and didn’t have a wedding ceremony, so most people don’t know yet."

"But I heard from soone that you didn’t even have a boyfriend a month ago."

"Right, it was a flash marriage, quite sudden."

Qiu Zhengxun’s eyes showed a hint of regret as he pressed on, "Why a flash marriage? Flash marriages are risky, life decisions should be made clear before making them."

At this juncture, he speculated, "It wasn’t because of your father’s issue, was it?"

"Brother Zhengxun, I..."

She was about to say sothing when Fu Chenlie pulled her to his side.

His hand on her waist, pressed close against her, he displayed the intimacy of a loving husband and wife in front of Qiu Zhengxun, declaring his territory, "What else could it be? Obviously because she loves so deeply, she wanted to marry imdiately. Sir, by discussing the risks of a flash marriage with my wife in front of , are you insinuating sothing?"

Wen Ran heard this and frowned slightly.

Who loved him so deeply?

Why was he so eager to give himself credit?!
