Fu Chenlie might not have been listening to her words, but he didn't interrupt her.

Wen Ran didn't investigate further, seizing the mont to conclude, "You've had plenty of those eighteen dishes on your regular breakfast nu, so trying sothing from the outside once in a while lets you experience an employee's life, which shows sympathy for your subordinates, right?"

Despite knowing she was talking nonsense, Fu Chenlie found himself looking back at those so-called "breakfast" items.

Wen Ran very perceptively moved behind him to pull out his chair, suggesting as she watched the man, "Why don't you sit down and give it a try?"

Fu Chenlie gave her a blank look.

However, he sat down.

Wen Ran placed the spicy soup in front of him and handed him the spoon.

In hopes of smoothing over the breakfast ordeal, she enthusiastically pitched it to him like a saleswoman, "This is spicy soup, a delicacy with a hundred-year history in Henan, and just one taste will leave you wanting more."

Fu Chenlie ignored her exaggerated introduction with a scoff.

Still, he took the spoon.

With a disdainful gaze befitting an emperor, he eyed the bowl of spicy soup, a mix of different ingredients, and then, with a graceful motion, he scooped a spoonful and brought it to his mouth.

Wen Ran stood aside, the corners of her mouth curling up in a hint of a smile.

Stubborn in speech, but the body doesn't lie, does it? He's compliantly eating now, isn't he?

She couldn't believe that after one taste of the spicy soup, he wouldn't love it!

As she watched him swallow, she carefully inquired, "How is it, is it tasty?"

Fu Chenlie glanced at her emotionlessly.

The smile on her face faded, "Is it... not to your liking?"

"It's edible," he replied with an air of reluctant acceptance, like an Emperor bestowing a favor.

Following that, with a "snap," he dropped the spoon back into the bowl, "But I'm warning you, don't even think about passing off these external breakfast purchases as food for from tomorrow onward, or else..."

He left the threat hanging, instead sending her a very dangerous look.

Wen Ran got the ssage imdiately: "Don't worry, there won't be a next ti. Actually, I wanted to cook for you today, but first, your secretary hasn't given this week's nu, and second, the supermarket wasn't open yet."

Fu Chenlie ignored her, his eyes scanning the other foods on the table before picking up a pair of chopsticks and lightheartedly eating a turnip cake.

Wen Ran exhaled in relief and sat down to eat as well.

She was truly afraid of him.

Having dealt with breakfast, Wen Ran quickly faced a new challenge—

Becoming a driver.

Next to the Rolls-Royce in the courtyard of the Huan Island Villa.

Fu Chenlie, with one hand lazily placed in his trouser pocket and the other operating the car key, spoke indifferently, "Cheng Cheng has been taking on the duties of a driver recently, but since you've joined us now, today you'll be driving."

Transford into a working person, Wen Ran responded, "Understood, Boss."

The term "Boss" made Fu Chenlie cast a sidelong glance at her.

Almost everyone at Fu Group called him "Mr. Fu"; she was the first to call him Boss.

She truly was one from the backstreets.

The man handed her the keys, "Get in the car."

Wen Ran examined the car key with hesitation.

Was it too late to admit she had never driven before?!

Fu Chenlie's car was clearly expensive; what if she had an accident on her first day at work, would the company reimburse it?

However, the patience of this man was indeed short, and while she was lost in thought, he called out to her impatiently, "Wen Ran!"

She snapped back to reality, "I'm here."

Fu Chenlie glanced at her sidelong, "I said get in the car, are you deaf?"

The latter weakly took the keys and hesitated before deciding to co clean, "Boss, actually I..."
