Curled up in Shao Zifeng’s arms, Qiuqiu opened its eyes. The little one, sensing the woman’s scent, stretched out a small paw, trying to push her away. However, it was too weak now to exert any strength.

Seeing the familiar figure, blue light points rotated in Shao Zifeng’s peripheral vision, and a light blue screen slowly unfolded.

Upon hearing this, Qin Zhenbei waved his hand, speaking loudly, “Professor Chen, no need for introductions, I’ve t Zifeng before.”
Shao Zifeng smirked and greeted, “General Qin.”
“Call Uncle Qin, no need for formalities,” Qin Zhenbei said, pretending to be displeased.
Then he gave Shao Zifeng a thumbs-up, “You really did sothing big, kid. Coming back after a few years and causing such a stir. If it weren’t for the support of the large-scale teleportation array, we would have been in trouble today.”
Shao Zifeng apologized, “I’m sorry for the trouble.”
Chen Yixin glanced between the two, perceptively noticing that Shao Zifeng wasn’t too keen on conversing with Qin Zhenbei.
Seeing that Qin Zhenbei wanted to say more, Chen Yixin quickly interjected, “General Qin, if there’s nothing else, we’ll take our leave. Zifeng just got back and needs so rest.”

Qin Zhenbei seed sowhat helpless upon hearing this; although he intended to foster good relations with Shao Zifeng, the latter always seed to maintain a respectful yet distant attitude.
“Report!!”
Just as he was about to say sothing, a soldier ran over quickly, saluting with a pant, he leaned close to Qin Zhenbei and whispered a few words.
Qin Zhenbei’s expression changed slightly, “Is this true?”
The soldier nodded, “Yes, the ssage was just reported from the Great Snow Mountain camp a few minutes ago.”
“I understand,” Qin Zhenbei’s deanor abruptly shifted from warm to serious as he addressed the two, “Since you both have matters to attend to, I won’t keep you. I will arrange for your departure as soon as possible.”
Chen Yixin shook her head, “Thank you for your offer, General Qin, but that won’t be necessary.”
Qin Zhenbei glanced at the Ice Armor Winged Dragon behind Chen Yixin, gave a nod to both, and quickly departed.
After he left, Chen Yixin said softly, “Let’s head back, Zifeng.”
“Okay.”
As Chen Yixin approached, the frost-covered Ice Armor Winged Dragon made a few appeasing cries. It spread its wings, which it used to prop itself on the ground, and its long neck stretched out like a pontoon bridge, lying on the ground waiting for its owner to mount.
Watching their departing figures, Cang Haiyuan opened his mouth but said nothing.
