Inside the ‘conference room’ it was eerily quiet. Chairman ng sat at the table, looking around with great satisfaction.
His employees were seated in two rows. On the left side were Shen Zhao Zhao, Zhang Lunping, and Zhou Yanni. Their child, a little girl nad Qi Qi, who had been ill, was now resting on a makeshift bed.
On the right side were the zombie employees, Zhang Tao and Chi Wei
The two zombies struggled against their restraints, causing the three human employees opposite them to turn pale with discomfort.
“Alright, everyone, settle down.”
Holding an old-style tea cup, ng Xu took a sip and then calmly raised his hand, signaling for the zombie employees on the right to stop making noise and disrupting the eting.
He continued, “We’re about to start the first full-staff eting of the Peace and Order Group. Is everyone here?”

“The first business unit will be launched, establishing the Sanitation and Cleaning Departnt. Li Xiang will be the team leader of the first group, promoted to K3 but without a salary increase. Chi Wei and Zhang Tao will join the first group as team mbers; they remain at K1.”
He continued, “As for the second business unit, we are establishing a Communications Services Departnt. Shen Zhaozhao, you will be the team leader of the first group, promoted to K3, just like Li Xiang. Zhang Lunping and Zhou Yanni will be interns in this departnt.”
“For Jiang Xiaoqiu, after careful consideration, I believe that having studied in the Beautiful Country at Fuha, she must be capable! Therefore, I am prepared to appoint her as the Executive Vice President of the company, responsible mainly for coordinating the First Business Unit.”
ng Xu then added, “Our company must foster a harmonious environnt. No discrimination against zombies—they were once humans. Human employees must not look down on zombies, and zombie employees must not attack humans. If I catch anyone violating this, they will be dealt with severely!”
After thoroughly considering these adjustnts, ng Xu felt satisfied. He promoted Jiang Xiaoqiu mainly because the vice president position had a base salary, and promoting anyone else would imply a salary hike—sothing Jiang Xiaoqiu wouldn’t need for the first three months.
Besides, how could a zombie conspire with another company and embezzle his wealth?
Sighing, ng Xu contemplated the absurdity of zombie employees demanding salaries. While human employees needed wages for transactions, what would zombies do with money? Wouldn’t it make more sense to pay them in ghost money?
A sudden idea struck ng Xu: there was a coffin shop nearby. After the eting, he decided to visit it and acquire so ghost money to see if Zhang Tao and Chi Wei would accept it.
Hearing ng Xu’s words, what could everyone do but applaud enthusiastically?
After a series of vigorous claps, ng Xu raised his hand again, looking very pleased.

The Communications Services Departnt will handle incoming calls. Once I take over Wanxiang International upstairs, you’ll be working there, answering calls.”
After the eting, ng Xu decided to motivate Zhang Tao and Chi Wei to clean the area thoroughly by painting a bright future for them.
“But boss…”
At that mont, a thin, timid voice raised another question. Shen Zhaozhao spoke out again, “You still haven’t told us what we need to do right now.”
ng Xu glanced at her. Thinking about Shen Zhaozhao, he recalled so details.
He focused, and golden text appeared before his eyes.

ng Xu casually concluded, “If there’s nothing else, everyone is dismissed. Today’s eting is adjourned!”
