[Wake up, host, it is 6 am.]

The ding echoed through Azrael’s head like a gong.

But he did not so much as twitch.

[Wake up.]

His brows knitted tighter, but he still did not wake up.

[Well, I tried my best.]

The system screen appeared in his face with a sigh emoji.

Azrael waved it off.

"What is the ti?" He asked with a tired tone.

[6:45 am.]

The system’s screen appeared.

Azrael nodded, but he stopped mid nod.

He raised his head in an attempt to see the system’s ssage clearly.

It was the sa.

"Shit," Azrael yelled, jumping off his bed.

"You are making late on my first day, you dumb system," Azrael complained as he bathed.

[Don’t bla your incompetence on . I tried several tis.]

The system replied almost instantly.

Azrael did not bother to argue.

He rushed his bath and wore his clothes.

Clara stood by the door, contemplating whether to enter or not.

’He would be late for class if he does not go now,’ she thought. Her knuckles rested on the door, but she did not have ti to knock.

The door swung open violently.

Before she could utter a word, Azrael had dashed off.

"Good morning," his words lingered through the space he had passed through.

Clara looked at Azrael’s fading figure.

’What is that?’ She wondered, her eyes fixed on the golden surface Azrael sat atop.

But she did not waste ti thinking.

As a professional maid, she collected her thoughts instantly.

With a single tap of her feet, she shot forward.

"Good morning, Lord Azrael," she greeted with a bow, still running beside him.

Azrael looked at her with shock.

’How did she reach so fast?’ He wondered.

"Moving at such a speed is prohibited within the castle walls," Clara said.

"No one is here to report ," he replied. "Or do you want to give off a bad first impression?"

Clara furrowed her brows but said nothing.

She followed beside Azrael, never outrunning or lagging behind him.

Soon, they exited the castle doors.

The coin tilted, following Azrael’s ntal command.

It streaked through the air in a trail of gold.

"System, what is the ti?" Azrael asked.

[7:01.]

Azrael shook his head.

The training ground had already beco visible.

It was situated in an isolated corner of the estate.

The area within over a kiloter around it was empty.

The training ground itself stood regally, painted crimson from top to bottom.

Azrael’s coin stopped in front of the massive double doors.

Clara stopped by his side.

Despite the accumulated montum from running such a long distance, she stopped perfectly, without raising so much as a speck of dust.

Her two hands were placed in front of her as she looked at Azrael.

"Good day," he greeted the guard in front of the door.

The guard nodded.

It was a hulking demon who towered over ten feet in height.

"I am here for the class," Azrael said, seeing that the demon did not even bother to acknowledge him.

The demon looked down at Azrael, then spoke.

"You ca late."

His tone was calm, but the chill it sent up Azrael’s spine was almost comparable to Abaddon’s.

"Sorry, I overslept," Azrael said, rubbing the back of his head.

The guard scoffed.

"Why are you sorry?" He asked.

Azrael’s forehead creased subtly.

"For coming late."

"There is no need to be."

As he said those words, his aura exploded.

Uncontrolled, like a tide, it crashed into Azrael.

Clara stepped forward imdiately, her own aura surging outward, covering Azrael before the energy could press against him.

"Scram."

That was all the guard said.

Clara’s knees buckled.

Her body fell to the floor, unconscious, the light in her eyes dimd.

"Huh?" The words, muffled, found their way out of Azrael’s lips as he stared at Clara’s body.

"As punishnt," the guard said, completely disregarding Clara’s body.

"No, I need to take care of her first," Azrael cut in, bending down beside Clara.

His essence swirled, creating a coin large enough to carry both of them.

He placed Clara on it, then hopped on beside her.

Without waiting for permission from the guard, he shot off.

The guard watched the coin as it flew through the air.

’Who knew the skill would be this useful,’ Azrael thought with a smile as he tapped the coin.

[I don’t know if that is a complint or not. You are using such a prestigious skill as a ans of transportation.]

Azrael shrugged.

Carried by the speed of the coin, which had been pushed to absurd levels by the essence Azrael pumped into it, they reached the estate’s hospital in no ti.

"I will co back to get her," Azrael said, watching the nurse carry Clara away on a stretcher.

"Ti?" Azrael asked.

[7:27.]

He sighed before his form tore through the air like a mirage.

"So, what is the puni..."

"You may enter," the guard cut Azrael off before he could finish his sentence.

The doors swung wide open on their own.

"You have passed the entrance test."

Azrael did not move.

But the guard was too impatient.

A force pulled Azrael in before he could take a full breath.

The doors shut behind him with a thundering bang.

"You are late," a calm voice ca from the front of the room.

Azrael looked toward the source.

It ca from behind a desk, but he could not see the person sitting there.

"Yeah, I am sorry," he muttered.

"That is none of my business, actually," the person said. "This is the access card that allows entry to all classes."

A hand pressed against the desk from below and slid a card forward.

Azrael caught it, then examined it for a mont.

His na was written boldly beside a picture of himself.

"Now, you need to acknowledge your arrival."

The hand pushed a crimson orb toward Azrael.

"Infuse this orb with a trickle of essence," the person instructed.

Azrael followed the instruction, placing a finger on the orb.

From the tip, essence began to flow outward.

The orb glowed with a bright light after a few seconds.

"That is enough," the person said. "You can continue moving."
