Several won were seated inside the eting room it was already more than two hours past the promised ti yet Maledict was yet to arrive, the mbers of the groups were becoming impatient as they just sat there and stared at the clock.
The third Shard stared at her mobile, for so reason she had lost contact with the team that had succeeded in beating that fraud new leader, she had even promised great rewards for them.
But now no one was replying to her ssages or even calls, she was sure that sothing was definitely wrong but she couldn't just leave the eting without the leader's permission so she looked the most impatient of them all.
"Leader, how long are we going to wait here?"
One of the Shard asked, they still hadn't completely agreed to let that random man be their leader so they were all pretty irritated by his absence.
"Until he arrives." The leader's eyes looked intimidating as she replied, they all quieted down and just began to use their mobiles.
The vice leader, Clara knew her leader all too well she would even wait here for days even if he didn't co, she planned to ask her leader to end the eting for now and plan it for a later ti, more than two hours had already gone by.

Scarlett was seated in the car, staring at Lucian's location it's already been a few hours since he hadn't moved at all, she was worried about him but also didn't want to interrupt him, her mind was still filled with the monts she had shared with him not too long ago with him.
So, if she sohow ends up angering him there is a chance that she might never be able to experience any of that, often when Lucian was away and didn't empty her breasts she had started to feel so pain, but she can't even do anything about it since just pressing them lightly made them hurt even more, so she needed him continuously to make her feel better.
"Sigh, I hope he is fine, he had been at that location for so long already I will head there if he didn't move."
She mumbled while tightly clutching her mobile, for so reason it wasn't only because of her sense of duty that she was trying to protect him, there seed to be another reason that she couldn't quite understand.
In an open area with dried corpses littered around, Lucian lay unconscious without a sense of his surroundings even though there wasn't a wound on his body but his clothes were in a very bad shape, barely covering his body.
He wasn't sure how long had passed when Lucian's senses began to return, he suddenly felt a chilly air over his body Lucian groaned and rolled over as he took several long breaths, there wasn't any pain but he felt as if he had been asleep for a very very long ti.
"COUGH COUGH W- Where am I?"
Lucian rubbed his head as he looked around and found himself in the middle of nowhere, it took a few seconds for him to rember exactly what had happened but he couldn't rember anything after passing out since his consciousness stayed in that dark space all this while.
"Zero, do you know what had happened?" Lucian asked but then he noticed the several corpses that were lying all over the place, many of the won who had attacked him earlier had died and from the condition of their bodies Lucian could tell that their Fog had been absorbed by Velm.
[Y- Yes, a little of what had happened give a minute to arrange my thoughts, I am confused as well.]
Lucian nodded as he stood to his feet and looked down at his body, he felt relieved that there was no wound on his body but after seeing the condition of his clothes he pulled another set of clothes from the storage and changed, even his mask was cracked revealing a part of his face but it still wasn't enough to reveal his identity.
"Did I really absorb the energy from the bodies of all these won who are at the 5th phase of evolution? But then why don't I sense any collected energy in my body, what's going on?"
Lucian stared at the tattoo of the Velm on his hand and felt that it looked quite different from before, while he was wondering where all the Fog that he had absorbed went he suddenly noticed sothing quite shocking.
"I… am already at the peak of 5th phase of evolution? How did I absorb such a large amount of Fog in such a short ti?"
Lucian was quite shocked after sensing the tsunami of energy in his body, his strength had grown by leaps and bounds when compared to before, from the early stage of the 3rd phase directly to the peak of 5th phase, it was an astronomical change, with his current strength he could kill all those won without even getting a scratch.

Suddenly his mobile vibrated, Lucian sensed that his mobile was in Zero's storage she had moved it when he was fighting or rather was receiving a beating earlier, taking it out Lucian was again surprised to see that almost seven hours had passed, he had several calls and ssages from Scarlett.
He sent a ssage to her telling her that he is fine so that she won't flew to his location, then he glanced at one of the corpses and walked towards it and his expression changed to one of anger, he moved all the corpses to Zero's storage and decided to think about the changes in his body later.
"I wonder if they are still at the eting place." Lucian spoke, he would just go back if the eting had been cancelled.
[They are still waiting for you, let's talk as you fly.]

Nodding his head he spread his wings made of the blood red Velm and shot towards the sky, he was used to his strength at the 3rd phase so with such a large increase in his strength Lucian flew towards the sky like a rocket and lost his balance as the cold air struck his face, making his eyes watery.
"W- Woah, looks like it would take so ti to get used to my new level, this speed is insane!!"
It took him a few seconds to finally beco stable in the air, he lightly flapped his wings and used little force then he flew towards the destination, even without using a quarter of energy or force his speed was more than three tis faster than before.
He was astonished at this sudden surge of power, while wondering about the changes that might have occurred to the flas of eruption and Velm, he felt it would definitely be phenonal.
[It seed I wasn't mistaken when I felt sothing wrong the mont I absorbed part of the Fog in the 1st phase Chasm, strangely it seems I have awakened along with you and my ability is…]
After a pause she added:
[It allows you to copy the abilities of others, I am still not certain about a few things though.]
