Lucian walked deeper into the dark space while sighing at his condition, there doesn't seem to be any hope for him now, all the won were casually discussing sothing without a care if he lives or dies.
"Wouldn't it have been better if I just accepted Jasmine and died while doing it, sigh I can only regret now. Anyway, why am I here again? This place seed a little different than before, the Flas of Corruption seems more violent than usual, almost as if it is angry, is it the rage towards those won?"
Lucian wondered but suddenly his gaze landed on a familiar figure who sat on a chair with his head resting over his head in a relaxed manner, this ti the eyes of the man were open as they stared at Lucian.
"Again, that is from my previous life so this wasn't just a dream after all, but what exactly is going on here?" Lucian wondered as he stared at him.
The man seed to be the source of all the raging flas that was swallowing up the entire space, his gaze unlike before seed intense and full of anger and arrogance, just as Lucian was about to ask a question waves of flas suddenly rushed out of the body of that man.
Before he could even blink the flas swallowed his body, covering him completely and then pouring inside his body filling up every cell and organ in him, a strange sensation filled him and in the next mont he seed to have entered a strange state as his eyes turned pitch black without a hint of white, and the flas were madly rushing into his body.
In the outside world, all the won were still talking about the order that they had received from the 3rd shard, but they couldn't help but mock him for acting all mysterious and mighty before even though the strength he possessed was so low.
"Let's just take his dead body and tell the Shard that he had died while we were escorting him back after all we beat him just too hard." One of the mbers suggested but the tigress shook her head as she looked at a particular woman in the group who had the shortest height among them as she added: Find more adventures on My Virtual Library Empire
"We can't make that kind of excuse with her being here, not only can she boost our abilities but she also has the ability to heal, so really wouldn't make any sense.
Sigh, so let's just heal him a little and head back, it won't be too safe for us to stay here, if the leader were to find we will all be killed in the most brutal ways we can think of."
The other mbers pondered for a mont then they finally nodded, the healer of the group walked towards the injured Lucian she was quite surprised that he was still alive despite the level of his injury, she glanced at his half covered face and was quite shocked at how handso he was.
She even wondered that after Shard would be done with him, she could take him for herself turning him into her slave, she bent down and pointed both her hands towards Lucian as a warm energy rushed forward and slowly Lucian's wounds began to heal.
"No need to heal him completely but just heal him enough that he doesn't die, ah we have received another ssage from the Shard." The tigress spoke as she turned to the other side and began to check the ssage, all the other won walked beside her to see it as well.
Lucian's wounds began to close up, the blood leaking out of his body gradually decreased when he was out of danger the healer paused healing him, she breathed out a long breath and stood up as the healer turned around, she saw that all the other won seed to be discussing sothing.
"We are ready to leave, he is out of critical condition but still he won't be awake for a few hours." The healer called out, grabbing others attention who finally decided to leave the area.
"Haha This was a task too easy for such a great reward, we were lucky that he passed through this area and not the areas where other groups were stationed." One of the won laughed, after they had read the ssage, they were going to tell this great news to the healer too, but just as their gaze fell upon the healer all the won were stunned.
The healer was smiling after hearing about the reward, then she felt confused while the others were looking at her with such strange expressions, as if they had just seen sothing very shocking.
'Are they surprised by my ability but they had already seen it countless ti, or are they all just acting.' She thought, but unbeknownst to her, a figure covered completely by dark flas stood behind her with his head tilted down, he was emitting a different and a dangerous aura.
His eyes were darker than black and the strange looking bracelet at his wrist seed to also be consud by the black flas, Zero had fallen unconscious as well and now even she was being controlled just like Lucian.
"G- Get away from him-" One of the won scread as they tried to move towards him, but before even the fastest woman of the group could get close to them Lucian's right hand shot up.
His hand had turned into a strange looking claw that resembled the one of the tigresses but instead of the green smoke it was emitting a black smoke as if it also contained poison and acid.
From behind, he placed his hand over her neck as his hand moved at a speed much faster than before although it was strange to notice but Lucian's body was covered with layers of aura that enhanced his abilities just like the healer's abilities.
All the won who had noticed this were shocked to see him use abilities exactly similar to them, under their gazes he placed his right hand clutched her neck as his claws plunged into her skin and in the next instant, he ripped open her throat as blood spluttered like fountain, her severed veins madly trembled after being cut while the woman coughed out blood with her eyes wide open.
"Ughhhh COUGH COUGH aaaaaagh"
She didn't even know what had happened as the sudden wave of pain assaulted her, she looked at others with a begging gaze, pleading to them to save her but as her body slumped down her body continued to twitch as life slowly began to disappear from her eyes.
Rage filled the other won as they saw their friend die in such a painful and pitiful manner, they ran towards her but before they could even cover her throat, she had died with blood pouring out of her nose and mouth, a sad and regretful expression was all that was left on her face.
All won collectively looked at Lucian with red eyes, no matter what instructions they had received from the Shard they were going to rip his body to shreds, and make him regret it with every part of his being.
