Chapter 45: Martin

By late morning, Victor and Alexandra finally stepped out of the house, their bodies refreshed and their hair still damp.

Alexandra wore a different dress, though it was still white with a similar design.

Her head remained lowered more often after getting dressed, mories of what she had done with Victor lingering in her mind.

People often said that a Heavenly Woman was untouched by anything impure—but what she had done last night and this morning... wasn’t that sothing impure?

And yet, it was sothing so pleasurable, so intoxicating.

She couldn’t forget it, and she knew she wouldn’t refuse if Victor wanted it again—unless she was forced to.

Victor gently stroked her hair for a mont before pulling her up into the air.

The sunlight dried their hair, and nothing seed out of the ordinary by the ti they arrived at the academy gates.

But Alexandra wearing a dress—and arriving together with Victor after disappearing the night before—naturally shocked the students.

The sa question arose again: where had they gone?

"You can head back," Victor said to Alexandra.

Of course, they didn’t have to stay together all the ti. Each of them had their own matters, especially regarding cultivation.

"Mm..." Alexandra nodded.

She didn’t look at anyone as she walked toward her residence.

Victor had just taken a step when he was suddenly blocked by a fifteen-year-old boy who imdiately pointed a sword at him.

"Where did you take my Senior Sister?" the boy, Lancelot, demanded.

That was exactly what everyone wanted to know.

All eyes turned to Victor with curiosity.

"You want to know?" Victor replied with a smile—one that only made Lancelot feel worse.

"Maybe you shouldn’t. But since you asked, I’ll tell you. My house. Is there sothing wrong with bringing my woman to my house?"

Lancelot froze upon hearing that.

Victor then walked past him.

At a certain corner, he saw Evan already waiting.

"Young Master, I knew you’d want to et," Evan said respectfully.

The way he looked at Victor had changed—there was genuine admiration now, not just obedience due to his master’s orders.

"Do you know where that man from earlier is?" Victor asked.

He was, of course, referring to Martin—the one who had boldly criticized Alexandra the night before.

Victor had realized sothing when Martin jumped out the window after sensing a trace of his power.

He was a Bloodline cultivator with a strong bloodline.

How could Victor not set his sights on him?

As for Alexandra... she was more difficult. She was the Headmaster’s disciple.

"He’s hiding in his residence... Within the academy, we’re forbidden from attacking others’ residences," Evan replied.

"I see..." Victor nodded. "Where does he co from?"

"He doesn’t have a background or family na like I do. However, he is the disciple of a teacher from the Mountain Blood Clan. His talent in extracting bloodline potential is exceptional. His master even granted him the clan’s bloodline—the Heaven Mountain Bloodline. He has already unlocked 40% of its potential. On top of that, he cultivates a Heaven-grade rit Law. His strength ranks among the top in this academy," Evan explained.

"This bloodline is extrely strong defensively. When they activate Mountain Mode, things beco very difficult."

"An impenetrable defense..." Victor had heard of it before.

The Mountain Blood Clan was known for its resilience. It wasn’t ordinary—after all, they had once produced a World Monarch.

It was said that even soone a realm higher, with equal cultivation quality, couldn’t kill them.

"I want to extract his bloodline... Is there any punishnt for doing that inside the academy?"

"Fighting isn’t forbidden, but killing will bring severe punishnt. However, the academy only cares if it happens inside. Outside the walls—they don’t interfere," Evan answered.

"Of course, his close connections won’t stay silent after that."

"I don’t care about his connections," Victor replied.

"Hahaha, Young Master, there’s nothing you need to fear," Evan laughed.

"Still, using brute force won’t make targeting Martin easy. In this city, his master could easily save him if he’s in serious danger. We need to lure him sowhere far to kill him."

"No, no need for anything complicated," Victor shook his head, confusing Evan.

"Take

to his residence."

Evan didn’t know what Victor was planning.

He didn’t ask—just nodded and led the way.

Martin’s residence was located at the corner, right beside the wall—a two-story wooden house.

It was considered a good residence.

The surroundings were quiet, with a considerable distance from other houses. No students passed by.

Evan knocked loudly on the door.

"Martin, open up!" he shouted.

Even distant students could hear him.

They grew interested—conflict was always entertaining.

Before long, the door opened.

Martin appeared, frowning as he looked at Victor and Evan.

"What are you doing?"

He didn’t expect them to co to his ho.

"We’re visiting. Is that not allowed?" Evan replied.

"Co on, co on, let us in!" Evan imdiately pushed Martin back and stepped inside.

Victor followed behind, kicking the door shut.

"You—?!" Martin couldn’t believe what they were doing.

Seeing the guest table, Victor walked over and sat down, crossing his legs.

"I’ll give you two options—hand over your bloodline, or live the rest of your life in despair," Victor said.

"What?" Martin reacted as if struck by a hamr.

"You think you can continue living peacefully after lecturing my woman in public?"

"Martin, no one can protect you. Even your master is nothing but a clown in front of the Young Master. If you know what’s good for you, make your decision now."

"Damn it, what the hell is this?" the young man said, clearly unable to process the situation.

"You won’t understand it now. Hehehe... but I have a list of the people close to you—the ones you’re good friends with, the woman you like. What if they all suffer because of you? Even their clans?" Evan replied.

"Even your master will be made to suffer. All of that can be done by the Young Master."

Victor smiled faintly as he listened to Evan’s words.

This one... was truly clever in the way he assisted him.
