(Third Person POV)
As the ti of the mixer approached, Asher decided to prepare Yakiniku—a social grilling tradition from his previous life where people sat around, grilling at, chatting, and drinking together.
He moved the coffee table out of the way in their dining room, then placed a solid iron cube on top of a few bricks to protect the floor from getting damaged. Next, he added charcoal inside the cube and carefully set a grill rack over it.
He grabbed vegetables from his mother’s kitchen which he had brought over from his realm—onions, lettuce wraps—and placed them neatly on the side while the boys watched, grinning, clearly intrigued by what he was doing.
But among them, Brian was already drooling at the thought of grilled at.
Asher pulled out the at they had purchased for the mixer and instructed the others on how to slice it into thin strips, showing them how it was done with smooth precision.
Once the prep was done, he told the others to take turns bathing. Kira went first, followed by Brian and Derrick, who ended up bathing together—laughing, goofing around, and boasting loudly about their penis sizes like idiots.
Asher and Adrian stayed behind to finish setting everything up—the gas, food, booze, grill—everything was falling perfectly into place. Now, all they had to do was wait for the girls.
Eventually, the others returned from the bathroom, fresh and dressed to impress. Then Adrian went in, and finally Asher stepped into the bathroom—only to find it a disaster zone. Water was splashed across the floor, and clothes were thrown everywhere. He sighed, shaking his head, then took a quick bath.
Afterward, he mopped the floor and cleaned up the ss. If Sharon saw the bathroom like this, she’d absolutely snap, and Asher was in no mood for her drama right now.
Back in his room, he also got dressed to impress. The others had gone all out with their looks—so would he.
He picked a freshly ironed black button-up shirt, rolling the sleeves up just enough to show so forearm. Then he slipped on a pair of dark jeans and finished the look with shiny black formal boots. He combed his sleek black hair and admired himself in the mirror—his amber eyes glinting under the soft light. Damn, he looked good.
A few sprays of cologne later, he stepped out, and the boys glanced at him, annoyed.
"Why... do you have to look that cool?!" Adrian pouted.
"Dude, you’re not even half bad yourself," Asher replied with a smirk.
They kept chatting as the clock crept toward 2 p.m.—the exact ti the girls were supposed to show up. The plan was for everyone to et at Anna’s mom’s shop, a place well-known around town, so she could lead the girls to Asher’s place.
But they were late. Like, girl-late.
As the minutes ticked by with no sign of them, Asher started to worry. Especially if Lorraine was really coming too. With her track record of bullying Anna, he couldn’t shake the anxiety.
Then—bam—about half an hour later, the main door swung open.
Anna strutted in first, wearing black yoga shorts with a soft white ribbon hugging the hem. Her crop top was black and white, and it left her stomach bare, showing just enough abs to make every guy forget how to blink.
And right behind her? Natalie, Mira, and Lorraine—a slow-motion parade of dangerously good-looking girls, each rocking yoga shorts and crop tops in different pastel shades that sohow made their legs look ten miles long.
The boys’ jaws practically hit the floor.
"Sorry we’re late," Anna purred, casually brushing her hair behind her ear. "Girl stuff. You wouldn’t understand." She winked.
Asher stood up, trying not to stare too hard. "Welco, ladies! Co, sit over here."
He showed them the seating arrangent—mats spread out around the grill in the center, with the girls facing the boys. Each girl naturally took a seat across from the guy who’d invited her.
Anna smiled as she sat across from Asher, stealing glances at him.
Kira and Lorraine? Their faces were practically tomato red—both doing everything they could to avoid eye contact.
Brian and Mira were already bickering like an old married couple.
"Hurry up! I’m starving!"
"We just sat down, you at goblin!"
Natalie, anwhile, was clearly having fun teasing Derrick, leaning in with a sly smile and whispering naughty things that had him blushing like mad.
As for Adrian... he was glancing around nervously, clearly wondering when Sharon would show up.
Well, Sharon had been watching through the keyhole of her bedroom door.
She’d already showered, but hadn’t expected the other girls to roll up in yoga shorts. And worse—she didn’t even own a pair! Sure, she had crop tops... but her insecurity kicked in. What if they laughed at her small boobs?
After a long pause of self-doubt, she muttered, "Screw it," and threw on a crop top anyway, pairing it with so gray shorts—not yoga shorts, but still short and smooth against her skin.
She took a breath, put on a confident smile, and walked out of her room, making her way to the girls’ side. She greeted them casually, then sneaked a glance at Adrian—who looked like this was the best day of his life.
"Alright!!" Asher called out. "It’s ti to grill! Just be careful not to get burned, okay?"
He stretched his hand toward the charcoal and, with a subtle flex of his power, ignited the grill in a flash.
Then he brought out the at and veggies.
"Let’s eat to our fill!" Adrian announced, handing everyone chopsticks. "Everyone grills their own at!"
The sll of barbecue quickly filled the house, rich and mouthwatering. Asher sliced so onions in half and used them to clean and scent the grill. Then he taught the others how to use lettuce to wrap the bacon slices before taking a bite.
They were hooked.
Everyone was blown away by the concept of grilling thin strips of at right there indoors, eating them hot off the grill, and wrapping them in veggies they’d never even seen before.
"Bro... this is life-changing," Brian moaned.
"Where has grilled lettuce bacon been all my life?" Mira gasped.
And quickly, the pair turned this into a competition—who could eat the most strips of at? They weren’t just eating, they were devouring.
As the vibe ward up, Adrian figured it was ti to take things to the next level.
"Alright! Ti to drink!" he declared, handing out cups of alcohol like a bartender on a mission, his grin borderline maniacal.
The girls exchanged looks—but then shrugged. This was a mixer, after all. Ti to let loose.
So they drank.
Adrian’s eyes sparkled with mischief. Oh yes... if they got tipsy enough, it was ti to unleash his masterpiece.
The King’s Command Ga. With that, he could start manipulating the atmosphere... and maybe get so lewd dares going.
His pervy instincts were tingling like a Wi-Fi signal in a thunderstorm.
Today was going to be legendary.
