In the world of Fayralia, far south of the Everlasting Continent, a weather‑scarred cliff overlooked a sapphire ocean. Atop that cliff stood a grand mansion with several stories, sprawling gardens, and deep, winding basents. No one dared claim the estate, even though it showed no sign of life.
In the neighboring village, Rumors swirled that, ten years ago, monsters had tried to nest in the mansion's rose garden—only to be slaughtered by an invisible force that left dark blood soaking the petals. A few foolhardy adventurers had also tested their luck—each mysteriously perished.
Every few years, new challengers arrived, and each suffered the sa grisly fate.
Over ti, people began to believe the mansion's owner was still alive, living quietly inside. Others insisted a guardian kept the place intact. No one knew the truth.
Elsewhere—on a parallel Earth where magic and technology clashed with contemporary law—a young man born without so much as a drop of mana suddenly felt an indescribable calling echo in his soul. Monts later he vanished from his world and reappeared inside that mysterious mansion, crashing onto a plush emperor‑sized bed set in the middle of a vast chamber.
Thus began Jett's new life as a lord.
-
Drowning in the plush cushions, Jett stared at a translucent system window floating above his head.
[You have beco the master of the Warden Mansion.]
[Na: Jett Talon]
[Level: 0]
[Age: 19]
[Title: The Master of the Warden Mansion.]
[Skills: None.]
[Current World: Fayralia.]
Everything displayed in the window looked out of the VR gas Jett knew so well. He'd played them endlessly, chasing the thrill of wielding powers that mana‑born players took for granted. He felt calr now, yet questions crowded his mind.
Still, the title on the screen stirred the sa indescribable calling he'd felt back ho. This wasn't a ga; it was a real world with laws unlike anything he knew.
Maybe I'm the only one with a system like this. I'd love that.
Thinking how amazing it would be to stand out, Jett sat up and peered around, but the room was so dark he couldn't see a thing. One small movent sent clouds of dust billowing; he inhaled and coughed.
This room hasn't been cleaned in years...
He swung his legs off the bed and strode forward until he found heavy curtains. He yanked them open, then threw the window wide. A mild breeze tousled his hair while motes of dust danced in the light.
Nice view. I've never seen the ocean before.
[You have received your first quest.]
[Objective: Refine mana within the Warden's Chamber.]
[Reward: An innate ability to generate mana.]
Clenching his fists at the sight of the quest, Jett locked his gaze on the glowing text. He had dread of wielding mana all his life but had resigned himself to an ordinary existence. Now he had a chance to gain what others were born with.
How am I supposed to refine mana in this chamber?
Jett knew nothing about the mansion—let alone this room. Just then, the grand double doors swung open and the corridor beyond ca alive: candles lit themselves in neat rows, their flas illuminating portraits of beautiful won clad in black‑and‑red maid dresses.
He stepped closer, admiring the exotic beauties from every corner of the world, still largely clueless about where he was.
[Choose a partner for your first mana refinent.]
[After the Master chooses his partner, she will wake from her slumber and leave the painting to attend to her master's needs.]
[By having intercourse with a partner, you will extract her mana by filling her womb for your own refinent.]
[At the sa ti, you will brand your partner with the Warden's loyal insignia, binding her to you for life and granting you access to her powers and loyalty system.]
"Are you serious?" Jett muttered.
If he hadn't felt that calling back in real life, he'd have sworn soone had dumped him into a pervy eroge just to broadcast his inexperience for laughs—plenty of creeps like that existed in his world. Yet his gut insisted this was real and ant for him. It was the instinct of a master—sothing new and intoxicating.
I an... there's a girl here who checks every box for .
Jett hadn't had much chance to refine his tastes, but he knew he liked won with long blonde hair and plump lips. One portrait showed exactly that: hair that could have shone like gold and a smile that drew attention to lush lips he doubted he'd forget. His heart pounded; he was seconds away from talking to an actual woman about sex.
[You have chosen Mia Leafie, an elven maid from the Grand Forest of Elven Garden.]
[Na: Mia Leafie]
[Age: 369]
[Level: 99]
[Title: Head Maid of the Warden Master, Cherished by Nature and Moon.]
[Mia Leafie has awakened from her slumber and been notified of her master's presence.]
With a burst of golden light, the portrait stretched into a doorway. An elven maid stepped through, her crimson eyes locking onto Jett's flushed, stunned face.
She smiled and bowed. "At your service, Master."
