"Hm... this is interesting. It seems like you can ta spirits through contract, then you’ll beco a Spirit Master," said Elder Dark Priest. He looked at the water spirit intently. Seemingly, it piqued his interest.
Eman noticed Blue retreated behind Little Sky, probably sensing Elder Dark Priest’s intent. Eman didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Eman nodded to the elder’s statent. "Yeah, however, I didn’t know there was also a water spirit, I thought it was a wood spirit only."
"There are many types of spirits, not only woods or water spirits," Peeking from behind Sky, Blue suddenly interjected.
"Really?!" Eman looked at Blue. "But it’s weird. When I searched in the forest a while ago, I didn’t find a single one. Perhaps they do not want to show their faces to ? Hm..." Eman pondered. He found it strange.
"Spirits are attracted to magical energies. The higher magical energy a person has, the higher probability they’ll encounter a spirit." This statent ca from the spirit itself, so Eman didn’t doubt it.
"Is that so? I see, so that’s why..." Eman mumbled in a dispirited tone. It could also be translated as spirits didn’t like him.
That explained why he failed to encounter one. His Magic Seed hadn’t matured yet; this explained why his magical energy was very low so far. And since his magical energy was low, spirits weren’t attracted to him.
Eman rolled his eyes and turned to the Elder Dark Priest.
"Have you encountered one?" He asked.
The Elder Dark Priest looked like he was pondering, rubbing his long white beard like an immortal cultivator in the manhua he used to read before.
"Hm... I can’t rember, My lord, since I barely co out of my chamber. But, I did have so strange feelings that seed like I was being watched by sothing whenever I went to the forest. However, since I didn’t sense any malicious intent, I just didn’t care at all," Elder Dark Priest recalled his past experience.
"I see, so that must be it," Eman nodded.
That said, only he was exempted.
"By the way, Blue..." This ti, Eman turned to the water spirit. "How did Little Sky get so exhausted a while ago? Is there a side effect of being contracted to a spirit?"
Hearing his question, Little Sky and Elder Dark Priest also gathered their gazes at Blue.
"I don’t know either. Probably because of the formation of Spiritual Vein," Blue said but she also stated that she wasn’t sure of the reason.
The word Spiritual Vein piqued Eman’s interest.
"What is Spirit Vein?"
"A line, a tunnel, a passage, sorry I can’t tell. But I think it is located inside the Soul Dinsion," Blue seed like she wasn’t certain about Spiritual Vein either.
But Eman had a vague understanding of it after Blue ntioned the word ’Soul Dinsion’.
She probably ant the Soul Fountain. If that were the case, then Spiritual Vein is probably the sa as the torrent of red and orange energies in his Soul Fountain. Of course, Eman wasn’t sure about it.
It seed like he couldn’t get much information from Blue. And it seed neither Sky nor Elder Dark Priest had any useful knowledge about spirit beings as well. Honestly, his first thought of spirits was humanoid transparent beings that looked so scary. How co they were cute creatures instead? Regardless, this was better than the first ntioned.
Eman asked the Elder Dark Priest to take care of Little Sky for a while.
"Alright, leave her to , My lord. Are you going to search for spirits in the woods?"
Eman shook his head. "I’m going to the academy. I need to visit the library and check whether there’s information regarding spirits there."
"I see."
Eman then summoned a dinsional passage from one of the rings he was wearing.
A dinsional passage appeared. "Alright, I’ll be going." After leaving those words, Eman stepped into the dinsional passage.
He exited and appeared in the dilapidated room. It was his dormitory room in the capital. The room was dark and a strong sll of dust imdiately invaded his nose. It had been several days since his last visit here.
He walked near the window and pulled away the curtain that was blocking it, dust flew in the air imdiately.
With a flick of his hand, a breeze of wind was generated, which carried away the dust and blew it outside the window.
It only took him a little ti to get rid of all the dust in the room. After getting rid of the dust, he could finally breathe comfortably.
After taking a bath, he changed into his academy uniform. This ti it was a dark blue coat over a plain white shirt. Whenever seasons change, they need to use another color of uniform. It was paired with pants of the sa color. Every season represents different colors.
When he was about to step out of the dorm, he found a piece of envelope jutting out of the door.
Eh?
A question mark could be seen floating above his head.
He picked it up and checked it. Eman was surprised when he saw the insignia of the Imperial Family on it. He quickly opened it. What was inside was a piece of paper.
’A letter?’
After reading the content for a minute, Eman knitted his brows.
"It seems the emperor has summoned ," he mumbled.
Eman then summoned Sphin and used Sphin’s erald Fla to burn the letter. He imdiately went to the academy after that.
First, he visited the rciless Clan barracks. He noticed the room was locked.
"Where’s everyone?" Eman asked himself.
It was about the right ti for everyone to gather in the barracks. This was also the reason why he ca here first. He thought he would find them here.
Unexpectedly, the room was empty. He used his personal key and opened it. As expected, when he entered, the room was empty.
There was still the stench of rust in the air. Everyone was probably still cleaning equipnt to gain academy points.
It was still a little too early for the appointed date that he set before their eting, but if he had t everyone here, he wouldn’t mind doing it now. As he was too busy right now about the matter of the Rothsport Town.
Honestly, there were no big gains in helping the Rothsport Town. It was a not surefire investnt. However, once the town ca back to normal, then he would gain big later on.
With the flick of his hand, a gust of wind generated and carried all the rust and dust, blowing them into the window.
Eman smiled satisfactorily when the stench of rust and dust had lessened considerably. Choosing wind as his second elent seed to be the best choice he made in his life.
Eman looked through the window. He saw a line of trees outside. The rciless barracks were located near the woods at the back of a towering building.
He didn’t waste his ti in the barracks and left imdiately after cleaning a bit. Looking at the sun outside, academic classes had long since ended.
Based on the sun’s angle above, he believed the ti was 2 PM. At this ti, students had no more oral or academic classes. They usually used their ti for training and personal stuff like gaining Academy Points through various ans. So would choose to complete a task from the Mission Pavilion. It was the most popular thod to gain Academy Points. On the other hand, so love to challenge other clans while betting so points.
Anyway, only the rciless Clan did the rust-cleaning job to earn Academy Points.
He wondered where everyone was at the mont. As he was heading to the library, passing the corridor, Eman noticed so students glancing at him. But as soon as his eyes t theirs, they would quickly avert their eyes from him. Other students just don’t give a fuck about him. And likewise, he too didn’t give a fuck about them.
Eman finally reached the library building. It was a solidarity building built in the middle of two skyscraper buildings. These two skyscraper buildings were the female departnt and the male departnt buildings.
That said, the library was accessible for both departnts. Although the library building wasn’t as huge as the male and female departnt buildings, it was very spacious inside with many shelves of books lining.
Eman entered and imdiately went to find the book he needed.
He went straight and looked for a shelf of books with the indication "Spirit". He wasn’t sure if he could find such a book there, but Eman could only take the gamble at the expense of his precious ti.
As he continued searching, checking each shelf, Eman didn’t realize that he already wasted about half an hour by doing that.
Maybe noticing his dilemma, an angel approached him.
"Uhm, are you having trouble looking for a book?" Eman heard a good-sounding voice on his right side.
When he glanced in that direction, a harmless-looking girl with big spectacles in her eyes was staring at him ekly.
