The settlent was not bigger or small, it was standard according to the needs of council beast. The council mbers scattered to search the source of stinking. One of the council mbers was able to spot and drag it in front of others. Lord Zim casted glance and imdiately recognized.
He looked at the loyal beast Colon. Colon was sweating with fear. It was aware about the beast before it was sent for killing Hiko. Colon could not refute that it never happened to et this beast. Colon was worried because the key was in the building and no one could steal it.
There was less argunt for defending life. "Who is this beast? Why you kept the dead body after killing?" A council asked. Lord Zim was silent. He did not ask because the beast was hired assassin and none of the council mbers were aware about its identity.
Now Lord Zim understood how his plan of killing Hiko failed and where the assassin remained missing. "It is not the right question. I think killing a beast is cri and hiding this cri is enough to let us know that the beast was killed for personal grudge. Breaking law after the law is atrocious act." Lord Zim spoke in thundering tone.
Colon stepped back. He understood that Lord Beast would not trust even if it tried to explain. "We were searching the spy. Is that Colon working for Hightown?" A council mber spoke. All of them were thinking on the sa lines.
"I never knew that Lord Council was sheltering a spy." Hiko added. Since everyone was speaking their suspicion, it also added. They looked at Hiko and nodded. Indeed this was possible. The beast was cheating its own races. Colon thought to speak about the wrongdoings of the Lord Beast to get rid the suspicions of others.
Colon was not willing to give up life for the sake of selfish Lord Beast. He was siding with others for his personal grudges and blaming on it. It was such disgusting and black truth about the Lord Beast. "I was not alone in this cri. Lord Beast already has information about it." Colon fiercely spoke. It's eyes were showering anger toward Lord Beast.
"How wishful and atrocious. You deserve severe punishnt." Hiko hurriedly acted and others followed. It was also guided by Qiao. He knew that things could take any turn during bla ga.
"I said the Lord Beast is not loyal for North Sepedra." Colon forced each word and tried to attack. Lord Zim also acted. Council mbers saw the situation and sided with the Lord Beast. The situation was unclear. They were unable to understand why Colon was acting irrational.
Lord Beast was worried that if the beast started to reveal hidden secrets then the Council mbers would go against his Lordship. For this reason he attacked first. Others were blinded by the presence of the Lord Beast to decide or listen the beast first. They were following simply.
Multiple attacks fell on the beast. Colon could not render all of their attacks useless or escape. The attacks injured first. Colon started spouting all secrets and the attacks of the Lord Zim increased. Hiko got shocked to hear. Even if no one believed Colon, Hiko has no reason to refute.
Hiko rembered all of it and thought to manipulate in future. Colon got seriously injured and fell dead. Unreserved and cruel attacks did not rcy. "We finally got rid the spy." Lord Zim spoke with hatred. Others did not speak however they were curious about half of the blas Colon spoke before death.
It was strange that loyal beast was blad a spy suddenly. Colon was killed but left half of them at the edges. They did not show openly nonetheless they were going to investigate about it by using so ans. None of them trusted Lord Zim blindly. They thought to visit their dens and discuss.
Lord Zim destroyed the settlent before leaving. Qiao was keeping glance at the developnt. The destruction of the settlent and the earlier commotion was blunt proof of his smart actions. He was able to get rid two of loyal beasts. The others eventually started to mistrust and suspect Lord Zim.
After getting rid Colon they head toward the settlent of other beasts. Full day was invested in the investigation however none other appeared suspicious. Qiao followed and kept waiting when Hiko would take permission to go back in its cave.
Qiao wanted to talk and ask about the girl in the black building. Without confirming it was difficult to help her. Now that Lord Zim has no one loyal left, Qiao could kill in face on battle. But before this he wanted to create so chaos in the North Sepedra.
So that when he battle with the Lord Beast no one join hands with him. The council beasts returned to their dens to inform about the recent events. North Sepedra was no more peaceful. The signs were clear for revolt. Two council beasts exchanged glances and chose sa path for journey.
They wanted to talk on the topic. "Lord Beast was acting strange when Colon spouted last words. My instinct says that he is hiding sothing." A council beast spoke when flying in the sky. "Whatever he is hiding is bound to uncover soon. I won't rest at ease until I search the truth. Things are not calm as they looking." Other answered.
They were chosen by the Frost Fire Continent. Their responsibility was to keep strict eye at the ongoing events. They should not neglect if Lord Beast act haughty. He was hunter and beasts could not handover their future to him.
"We do not have much ti. The report should be written before the beast from Frost Fire Continent reach here." The first one added. Both were ready to investigate fairly. They were different from haughty Lord Beast. They never decide without proof however today they went against their set rules.
To wash away this regret they were willing to work against Lord Beast if necessary.
