The place appointed by the Demon Emperor was a covert sub-hall of the Heavenly Demon Sect, deep within the Misty Forest.
For safety's sake, Yang Ji did not rashly proceed there but first went to the Floating Luo Sea. He sought out the Mahayana Cultivator Lang Canghai, and only then did they tear through space together, hurrying toward the Misty Forest.
The speed of a Mahayana Cultivator was extrely fast. Following the guidance of a map, they tore through space along the way and quickly arrived above the Misty Forest.
No sooner had the two erged from space than a dense fog surged towards them. The fog here was blackish-gray, exceedingly thick, and evidently fraught with danger.

"So, it's Lord Hei Sha. The helmsman has ordered that you may enter whenever you arrive!" The two burly demon cultivators retracted their fierce expressions and imdiately revealed sycophantic smiles, respectfully saying.

"Lord Hei Sha, please follow !" Just as Yang Ji stepped inside the palace, a maid greeted him with a smile and led him toward the main hall.
As he approached the main hall, Yang Ji lifted his gaze and saw three young n seated inside.
To his slight surprise, Xun Yu, the son of the Demon Emperor, was also among them.
"Hei Sha!" Xun Yu too felt Yang Ji's gaze turn his way and looked back, imdiately his eyes slightly sank.
"Hei Sha? Is he the Commander Hei Sha of the Floating Luo Sea?" Upon hearing Xun Yu's murmur, two other young n in black robes curiously looked over.
Just as Yang Ji set foot into the main hall, suddenly, an impenetrable darkness spread out from the inner hall, within which erged a figure, proud and lofty as if the king who ruled the darkness itself.
A powerful dark aura brewed around him. His pitch-black robe seed to be a swath of the night sky, as if the entire dusk had been concentrated onto it.
"Hei Sha? The new leader of the Floating Luo Sea? Indeed, you didn't disappoint , reaching the Demon Monarch Realm. Good, very good! It's just perfect to test my Dark Technique on you. Had you been still in the Demon King Realm, defeating you would've been too boring.
Now, it's just right to turn you into a dark servant, my devoted slave."
Wherever this young man walked, darkness transford the space.
He was like the incarnation of darkness, the Dominator of the night, as if even the blazing sun could not bother him.
Lang Canghai's expression changed slightly and he transmitted his voice, "This demon seems powerful, with an astonishing aura, likely peerless among his peers. Should I intervene?"
"No need!" Yang Ji replied indifferently.
"Night Monarch, this Hei Sha once insulted my younger brother Xun Yu and even snatched his Commander's Seal. I've long wanted to turn him into a puppet. There's no need for you to take action today."
In the darkness spread by the Night Monarch, a glimr of blue light erged, faintly resisting against the darkness. A young man walked out from it, his features sharp as a blade, stern-looking. He glanced at Yang Ji and said,

From the inner hall, another malevolent-looking young man ca forth. This man didn't exude much aura, yet walking amid the blue glow and darkness, he was none the less imposing, showing that he too was a formidable Demon Monarch.
"Night Monarch? Is he the Quasi True Successor talent favored by the Demon Consort? Then who are you two?" Hearing their arrogant and overbearing words, Yang Ji showed no fear, instead smiled and asked lightly.
"Hei Sha, I have to admit that you truly are extraordinary, remaining composed under the pressure of the three of us. If it wasn't for your lowly birth, making you unworthy to associate with us, we might even beco friends!"
The Night Monarch sneered, looking at the man whose body surged with blue light, "This is Lan Yan, the son of the Blue Sphere Demon Emperor and the Commander of the Liu Yunhai!" His gaze shifted, then glanced sideways at the malevolent-looking man, "And this is ng Sha, the son of the Demon Monarch ng Xiong and the Commander of the Blue Marsh Sea!"
"When I was coming here, I heard the Demon Consort say that, including myself, there are five favored Quasi True Successor geniuses. Now that three are here, when will the last one appear to suppress ?" Yang Ji asked nonchalantly with a smile.
"There's no need for Huang Ji to suppress you!" ng Sha snorted coldly.
