Chapter 17: Breaking through continuously

Alex slowly went to his mother. "Mom, I did it. Now will you cook

my favourite foods?" he asked with a smile.

Elizabeth hugged him tightly. "Of course my baby. I will cook all your favourite foods." Tears were rolling down her cheeks.

He gently wiped her tears off. "I will not let you cry any more mom."

No one disturbed them or dared to disturb them. All the emperors were looking at him with hungry eyes. They wanted him to join their faction. If he did not die, it was certain that he would surpass everyone on the planet.

"Every reporter should leave," Arthur said calmly. It was like a divine order. No one would dare to refute his order unless they wanted to die.

One by one everyone left the vicinity. They were unwilling, but what could they do? After the thousands of reporters left, all the emperors ca down from the sky as well as Arthur.

Alex looked at them calmly. He also knew their intentions.

"Looks like you have figured out our intentions. Now tell , which faction do you want to join?" Arthur asked with a mild smile.

"Vice president, he is the heir of my family. How can he join other factions? He has our bloodline in his veins," the ancestor of the Moriarty family, Alexander Moriarty, said with a little annoyance.

"Oh? Then let him decide. Because as far as I know, you chased them away a year ago from your family. You humiliated them. So you cannot say this anymore. You have lost that right," Arthur replied calmly.

"Alex, I know the family treated you and your mother poorly. But they did that because your father died, and they were upset with you. But you are the son of your father.

What would he think if he heard you joined another family because of a little quarrel? Please return to the family. You will beco the sole heir of the family and all the resources will be available to you without any constraints. Your mother will beco the patriarch of the family."

Alexander was desperate. The supre authority of an emperor was nowhere to be seen. Alex’s existence was enough to wipe off his arrogance.

Alex observed him closely. He did not like this family. If there were anyone good in the family, they would have secretly tried to reach out to him and his mom to see their conditions, but no one did.

If he found even one such existence in the family who was really sympathetic to them when they needed them the most, he would have considered returning to the family.

"I am sorry. I want to join the Alliance Headquarter. No individual family should have , that would collapse the balance of power in a few years," Alex said calmly.

These words were very arrogant but no one thought that. Arthur smiled with satisfaction. Everyone knew this was true. But humans were selfish in nature and he could not stop other families from trying to recruit him.

"Vice president Arthur, I will join the alliance but I have so conditions.
