Chapter 16: Transformation
[Author note: The bloodline is changed into a new bloodline]
Alex was still in a daze.
What were these rewards?
It felt as if the Tower wanted him to beco a god imdiately and start ruling over the universe.
[Do you wish to rge these rewards?]
Alex hesitated. He had originally planned to rge them after leaving the Tower.
"H??ell no! What if sothing doesn’t function properly after going out?" he muttered. "I need to check them right away and make sure they actually work."
"Please rge them."
Instantly, an imasurable pain flooded his body like a tsunami.
His muscles tore apart.
His bones felt as if they were being crushed and reforged.
His eyes burned as though molten stars had been poured directly into them.
His brain felt on the verge of exploding.
"Fuck you! Fuck you, bastard!" Alex roared in agony. "Why didn’t you warn
about this pain?!"
The tornt was so intense that he desperately wanted to faint, but even that rcy was denied to him. The pain itself kept him conscious, anchoring his awareness in a sea of suffering.
Ti lost all aning to him.
Then, after what felt like an eternity, his consciousness finally shattered and he fainted.
anwhile, the entire world outside was waiting.
They waited... and waited.
"Why isn’t he coming out?" reporters argued frantically.
People in front of televisions across the planet were just as confused. Even the other candidates who had ascended alongside him could no longer see Alex. His figure was gone.
Because at this mont, Alex was lying on the stair itself, undergoing sothing far beyond a re transformation.
His body grew taller.
His skin beca as white as Jade.
His hair lengthened, turning a muted silver that seed to blur at the edges, as though it did not fully belong to this world.
His physique, which was already exceptional, reached a flawless balance.
His genes transcended their limits.
His soul underwent purification.
His irises darkened at first... then cleared into an abyssal silver-gray, like empty space staring back.
Alex’s existence began to align, not with the universe, but with the absence beneath it.
When the process ended, he felt like a child from a divine race who fell into the mortal world.
He felt detached from the world, as if the world was afraid of sullying his magnificence by touching him.
If the most handso beings in the universe like human, demon, elf, or other races were rated at 95 points of charm, Alex would be at least 120.
Not only because he was overwhelmingly attractive.
But also because he felt unreachable.
Present, yet distant.
Visible, yet untouchable.
Slowly, he opened his eyes.
The mont he did, an unseen force rged seamlessly with his existence.
After the transformation, Alex felt calr. Sharper. More mature.
His started seeing everything from a new perfective.
"The transformation is over?" he murmured. "But what exactly are these rewards?"
"The Chaos Physique... Existential Nullity... Eye of Revelation... What are they?"
No answer ca.
The Tower had always been like this, granting nas, never explanations. One had to explore their own power.
Alex opened his panel.
[Na: Alex Moriarty]
[Cultivation Talent: Eternal]

[Energy Absorption: 3M/s]

His attributes had surged drastically.
But Alex’s eyes widened when he saw the energy absorption rate.
Before the Tower, it had been 90/s.
Now it was 3 million per second.
"With this..." he whispered, stunned, "I could break through every minute with this talent."
A slow grin spread across his face.
"Eternal grade talent really is absurd."
He felt an overwhelming urge to rush out and hug his mother.
But then he noticed two new options on the panel, options that had never existed before.
Physique
Bloodline
He tapped Physique first.
[Primordial Chaos Physique: You can wield every elents in the universe.]
A simple description.
"All elents?" Alex muttered.
His heartbeat quickened, but he suppressed his excitent and tapped "Bloodline"

Locked (Martial Emperor Realm)
Locked (Universe Realm)
....
Alex stared at the screen.
This was not a race based bloodline.
Nor was it the inheritance of a mythical creature.
It was sothing fundantal.
He did not feel any change in his nature.
"Good," he exhaled quietly. "At least I will not lose myself."
The bloodline did not make him stronger. Instead, it made his enemies weaker.
It dragged them down to their most fundantal state. After that, all he had to do was defeat them.
He could not test the Eye of Revelation or his sword talent here. Those would have to wait.
"I am ready to go out," Alex said.
A portal imdiately opened in front of him.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward.
Outside
The entire world held its breath as a portal appeared.
Reporters erupted into chaos.
Then soone stepped out.
But it was not Alex.
The young man who erged froze instantly. His soul nearly left his body as he sensed the overwhelming presence around him.
Tens of emperors hovered in the sky.
Thousands of caras stared from below.
The boy turned pale and collapsed on the spot.
"Get him to the hospital," an alliance officer ordered calmly. "And stop this madness. What if Sir Alex becos displeased?"
Elizabeth’s heart was pounding violently.
Then another portal opened.
This one was different.
Normally, portals were black.
This one was colorless, as if light itself bent away from it.
And from within, soone slowly walked out.
A man.
No.
Sothing beyond definition.
People forgot how to breathe the mont their eyes landed on him.
They felt insignificant.
As if what stood before them was sothing they should not be looking at.
Yet they could not resist the urge to look. It was as if a deity stood right in front of them, so close and yet impossibly far away.
Alex stood there, 180 centiters tall. His silver hair drifted faintly, unaffected by the wind. His figure appeared slightly out of focus, as if the world itself struggled to properly render him.
Two female reporters collapsed, losing consciousness on the spot.
Arthur snapped his fingers instantly.
All caras shut down.
"This is not sothing normal humans should look at for too long," he said quietly.
Alex let out a soft sigh.
Then he smiled faintly.
He looked at Arthur and instinctively activated the Eye of Revelation.
[Na: Arthur Cromwell
Realm: Emperor Level 9
Cultivation Talent: SS Grade
Bloodline Talent: Dragon Transformation]
"Whoa. The vice president really is a monster among monsters, isn’t he?
No, no, no. That is not the main point.
I can actually see the profiles of others? How aweso is this talent?"
Knowing yourself and knowing your enemy was the key to victory.
