“You would never guess where I am.” Xiaochen started to type then decided it was too tireso and switched to voice, “I’m at Hanhai’s headquarters.”
“Wow, that’s really impressive.” Secretary Wang exaggerated his response.
Xiaochen didn’t pick up on the insinuation and continued worriedly, “You have to tell your boss to lay down a strong hand when it matters! I always get the feeling that Lu Gong and Qin Zhiyou’s relationship is not simple. He claims to be Lu Gong’s relative, but I’ve never seen him lift a finger when Lu Gong was down on his luck. Even if they were relatives, they’re distant ones. Qin Zhiyou seems slick and cunning, a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
