Yun Ran dizzily pushed open the door. Inside the hall, there were no lamps lit, but by the bright moonlight, Yun Ran saw a ghostly woman with disheveled hair hanging inside the door!

The female ghost had a blue face and sharp fangs, her eyes were blood-red, expression ferocious, with a long tongue fluttering!

As she pushed the door, a head of long hair was lifted by the night wind, rushing towards her, chaotically dancing across her cheeks.

At the mont it touched her skin, Yun Ran was shocked to realize the strands of hair were still dripping with water, cold and chilling in the dark night, as if a venomous snake had slithered over.

"Ah!"

"Oh no..."

Scared, Yun Ran let out a scream and stepped back, but due to dizziness and unsteady footing, she fell to the ground.

The cold wind howled by her ears, and sitting on the ground, Yun Ran’s previously muddled mind cleared sowhat.

"Lin Wanyue, you still know to co back?"

A man’s voice sounded in the dark, cold and alluring, low and deep.

A dangerous aura perated the wind, capturing the soul.

Yun Ran blinked her eyes, looking at the man appearing slowly before her, pushing a wheelchair.

The cool moonlight spilled over him, ink-black hair, white clothes, a handso face as beautiful as if demonic, his deanor noble and lazy, looking as if he didn’t belong to this world.

One could easily beco captivated and find it hard to look away.

The man glanced at the girl’s dazed appearance, his cold brows slightly raised, his voice ghostly cold, "Lin Wanyue, did I scare you silly?"

But in the next mont, the girl’s small mouth pouted, and suddenly she started crying.

"Nangong Mo, you’re bullying , waa... you scolded ... you actually scolded ..."

Nangong Mo: "???"

An expression of obvious confusion flashed in the man’s eyes. His usually cold and arrogant handso face now looked sowhat dumbfounded.

The girl sat on the ground, her pretty little face full of grievance, a layer of mist covered her lively, limpid starry eyes, looking at him with a pitiful accusation, appearing extrely wronged.

Nangong Mo opened his mouth, but couldn’t make a sound.

The girl looked at him with tear-filled eyes, wiping her tears with her small hand, softly sobbing:

"You not only scolded , but you also scared ... waa... you know I’m most afraid of ghosts, yet you deliberately used a ghost to scare ... and found such a scary, ugly ghost... are you trying to scare to death..."

Being looked at with the girl’s pitiful eyes, a strong sense of guilt welled up in Nangong Mo’s heart!

For a mont, he felt like he was a sinful big bad wolf, bullying a gentle and innocent little white rabbit...

Nangong Mo pressed his lips with so difficulty, "I didn’t..."

Before he finished, the girl pointed her hand at the ghost floating behind the door, sobbing a complaint:

"You did! You clearly did... look, the ghost is still floating there... waa... you just want to scare to death..."

Nangong Mo: "...I was wrong..."

"Waa... where were you wrong?"

Nangong Mo silently looked back at the ghost drifting with the wind, pressed his lips:

"I shouldn’t have used such an extrely ugly ghost to scare you... be good, don’t cry anymore."

As he spoke, he turned his wheelchair in front of the girl, lifted her from the ground to sit on his lap, wiped her tears with his hand, and softly soothed her, "Be good, don’t cry, I know I was wrong."

The girl sniffed, looked up at him with tearful eyes, asked:

"And what else?"

Nangong Mo: "???"

What else?

"Why did you scare ? Did you fancy so gentle beauty?"

The girl’s voice was soft, with a hint of sob, sounding extrely aggrieved.

A trace of dumbfoundedness flashed across the man’s eyes, he quickly shook his head:

"I didn’t."
