Chapter 802: Chapter 802 Carnivore Day

“The divine spirit deceives the most righteous people in the city, turning them into the most contradictory creations?”

Han Fei had a feeling that the protagonist of this legend was Li Xue’s ntor, the policeman who once entered the Garden and battled with the Butterfly for decades.

“Yes, all Night Watchn are fallen Cri Chasers. Although they are powerful, there are very few in number. Forbidden-level Night Watchn have fixed areas of activity, Disaster-level Night Watchn number only a few, and Night-level Night Watchn exist only in legends. If what this guy says is true, the building might undergo a new upheaval,” Ji Zheng, who was a Night Watchman himself, held an innate fear for that level of power, “Night-level, beneath the divine spirit, he is the night.”

The lights in the elevator shaft kept flickering, the blood-red numbers on the screen constantly changing, and the elevator doors were delivering corpse after corpse to the twenty-fifth floor.

The scene was shocking just to look at; a true cleansing might have already started.

“Run fast! Hide! Hide in places even the divine spirit cannot reach! Get into the embrace of those taboos! Even dying in a taboo is better than falling into his hands.” The teenage Night Watchman scread in a shrill voice, his face smashed and bloody, teeth flying, but he felt no pain.

Seeing Han Fei and the others unmoved, he struggled to his feet in a horrifying burial robe, like a paperman given life, staggering, almost like he had just learned to walk, towards Han Fei: “Escape! Why aren’t you escaping?”

As he lifted and set down his foot, he rely moved about two ters away from the elevator cabin before his head exploded directly, leaving only a corpse in a burial robe on the ground.

“What is this power? A Curse? Hatred?”

The boy in the burial robe’s head seed clamped by invisible iron tongs; no matter where he fled, once the other wanted him dead, his head would explode, an unsolvable dominion.

“Clean the elevator shaft, don’t let the elevator linger on the twenty-fifth floor for too long,” Han Fei stood amidst the blood and gore, not frightened by the Night Watchman’s power, maintaining his clarity.

“The fiftieth floor has noticed changes on the twenty-fifth floor; the divine spirit has not yet awakened, surely the minions of pseudo-gods are probing, but unexpectedly encountered the divine spirit’s ‘craziest’ creation,” Ji Zheng looked at the ground full of blood, heart still palpitating with fear, “Your luck is truly remarkable.”

“This shouldn’t be luck,” Han Fei let Li Rou absorb the Sin Blood from the Night Watchn, looking toward the Director controlled by the Soul of Evil, “If others don’t ddle, can we handle these Night Watchn?”

“For every one that cos, we kill one; two, we kill two,” the Soul of Evil spread his arms, countless tendrils of spirit emanating from the Director’s body and rooting into the corpses of the Night Watchn, rging their sins and power into its body, “Where’s your saber? The tainted justice in their hearts can only be purified by your saber, granting them true release.”

The brilliance of the saber light sliced through the shell of sin, collecting the once pure, bright souls into the Rebirth Saber.

“Every Night Watchman was once a Cri Chaser who upheld justice; we all beca what we once hated the most. After seeing my child, maybe you’ll need to help release as well,” Ji Zheng stared at Han Fei’s saber, “In my child’s heart, I should be a hero worthy of respect; let that version of live forever in his mory.”

“It’s too early to talk about this now,” Han Fei stood at the elevator door once all the blood was cleared, “The Disaster Ghost on the sixth floor has slaughtered nurous followers, and on the twenty-fifth floor, we have taken the second brain fragnt; the divine spirit is furious now.”

“Do we need to avoid the brunt?” Sister Hong was sowhat worried.

“No, what we need now is to maintain our montum,” Han Fei showed a gentle smile that he only wore while killing: “We will search for the other fragnts of the second brain, waiting for the arrival of the six Hatreds, prepare to cooperate with them for a building slaughter.”

Under the calm words lay a killing intent unimaginable to ordinary people; Sister Hong and Ji Zheng saw another side of Han Fei.

This young man crawled out from a pile of Fierce Ghosts, step by step up the Skyscraper; he didn’t beco the Manager of the Death Building and Paradise through kindness and gentleness.

“Sins should be eradicated, isn’t that rightfully so?”

Pressing the elevator button, the blood in the cabin had already been “devoured” by the “elevator” itself, Han Fei slightly lifted his head.

If that Night-level Night Watchman really was Li Xue’s ntor, his choice to fall into the Deep World, did it an he was already murdered last night?

Before entering the ga, Han Fei stayed a day in the archive room with the old man; back then it already felt strange, the words from the old man seed like he was entrusting his child, even handing Fu Sheng’s bracelet to him.

“So everything had signs.”

Holding the head of the Big Evil, Han Fei’s body was covered in glaring Ghost Patterns. He entered the elevator cabin.

Without a word, Ji Zheng, Li Rou, and Mr. Mo followed him into the elevator.

The Soul of Evil controlling the Director urged the Taboo to “grow” upwards. Wherever the Taboo reached, if anyone dared to obstruct, then Han Fei and the others would act.

“Under the Hatred, we will settle this.”

The silver-gray elevator doors slowly closed, the most vicious and brutal slaughter night inside the Skyscraper was about to begin.

The number on the display turned to twenty-six, the bloody curtain was roughly drawn aside as the elevator door opened.

“Level twenty-six is too close to level twenty-five; most people here are settling to explore the secrets of the Taboo. If the Taboo can be destroyed, divine favor would be gained. But among them, so aren’t so bad; you must decide cautiously!” Ji Zheng took out a cara, checking the fate of everyone around, through his lens, everything was blood-red.

“I won’t kill innocent people, nor will I give evildoers a chance to redeem themselves.”

Han Fei stepped out of the elevator on the twenty-fifth floor, in sync with the Soul of Evil, controlling the “Director” to comnce the most violent Taboo invasion!

Spikes made of blood and flesh pierced through the ground; the bodies of those killers had been assimilated by the Director, under the influence of Taboo forces as if arms reaching from Hell, grasping every room on the twenty-sixth floor.

With each step Han Fei took, flesh and blood thorns spread out in a circle.

“Guard the elevator, don’t let any live person leave.”

Drawing the Rebirth Slaughter Saber, Han Fei gently touched the Ghost Pattern and walked into the depths of the corridor.

“Victims have beco the killer’s toys, enduring torture day and night. This twisted era needs to be corrected bit by bit.”

Roars erupted, and the Disaster aura on Big Evil spread to the surroundings. Han Fei needed to devour as many floors as possible with the help of the Taboo’s power before other floors reacted.

Once the Hatred ca over, he would let the Soul of Evil delay them or find a way to slaughter the Hatred.

The Paradise Shrine was constantly absorbing Han Fei’s Life Value, and he needed a powerful Sacrificial Offering to withstand the Shrine’s pressure in his place.

“Quick! Keep up!”

Smashing open door after door, Han Fei beca the eyes of the Soul of Evil, guiding the Taboo, using the Rebirth Slaughter Saber to judge good from evil. In just half an hour, he cleansed the twenty-sixth floor.

“This floor is a buffer zone. The internal Managers of the building had already abandoned the twenty-sixth and twenty-fourth floors.” Ji Zheng looked at the flesh walls assimilated by the Taboo, knowing Han Fei was crazy, but never expecting this young man to dare challenge the Divine Spirit directly.

If the Skyscraper was the Garden Owner’s Shrine, then Han Fei was now using the power left by Number Two to invade the Shrine.

The ground was a river of blood, resembling Hell on earth, yet Ji Zheng couldn’t muster any fear towards Han Fei.

He was slaughtering those killers while saving the tortured and disfigured victims. Whether it was the terminally ill patient with just a breath left, the living human collectibles cut into strange shapes, or the emotionless “at Food,” whenever Han Fei identified them as victims, he would save them at any cost.

Such a person, even if he was the incarnation of a Devil, who could hate him? At least, Ji Zheng felt he couldn’t.

“Attention Player Number 0000! The mutation level of special resident Li Rou has increased to seventy-nine percent, assessed as Dangerous!”

The deford body absorbed a large amount of Sin Blood. As a Half-deford Ghost, Li Rou’s strength rapidly broke through. She grew more beautiful yet lifeless, like a finely carved corpse.

In terms of physical fitness alone, Li Rou had far surpassed Nine-life, and that was just the normal state of a Half-deford Ghost. If she fully activated her Sin Blood, her strength would skyrocket again, but she would also turn into a terrifying Monster.

The more beautiful and mysterious she was now, the uglier and more violent she would beco after mutation.

“Sister Hong, I’ve taken care of the injuries of these victims, please settle them.” Han Fei watched as the “Director” devoured the flesh of the killers, and the walls on the twenty-sixth floor slowly beca like the twenty-fifth floor under the Taboo’s influence.

“Ti to move to the twenty-seventh floor.”

The elevator was sealed, and the stairway was a focus for the Soul of Evil, making escape unlikely.

“The twenty-seventh to thirtieth floors are the Breeding Layer, responsible for raising and collecting the Special Items for the lower floors, sending them to higher floors.” Ji Zheng knew he couldn’t stop Han Fei, so he fully joined Han Fei, informing him of the precautions needed on each floor before acting.

“Breeding Layer?”

“Surely you’ve heard of at Food, right? But you’ve rarely seen it within the building, and even then, it’s often low-quality. The truly good at Food and special ingredients are cultivated by specialized individuals. They even build suitable ‘growth environnts’ for better taste.” Ji Zheng sighed: “The feast is approaching, and if you disrupt the Breeding Layer now, you might provoke all the forces in the building against you. I suggest you go up and assess the situation before making a decision.”

“Upstairs.”

Han Fei had connected with the Soul of Evil, but the expansion of flesh and blood did not slow down.

They re-entered the elevator, the silver-gray doors sending a fishy wind with each open and close.

Arriving on the twenty-seventh floor, it wasn’t a Rustic Ladder mber guarding the elevator but a Blind rchant.

Unlike the usual skinny, filthy Blind rchants, this one had fair skin, and he had grown quite plump. Although blind, he wore a constant smile, looking rather comical.

“You guys ca from below? With such a heavy sll of blood, you must’ve scored quite a haul?” The plump Blind rchant confidently approached Han Fei with a smile, but before he could utter another word, a sharp sting at his neck, like an incredibly sharp blade, settled on his shoulder.

“Explain to , what’s considered good goods?”

“Good… good goods are those of good appearance or particularly unique in character. So diners prefer little Princesses, the delicate and willful blooms of the greenhouse, most delectable when served on a platter…” The Blind rchant’s neck tingled more painfully, and his voice began to tremble.

“So, by goods, you an the living humans from the lower levels?” With one slash, Han Fei severed the plump head, which rolled several tis and landed in the corner: “The Rebirth Saber hadn’t even approached, yet the saber’s aura pierced your neck. How many have you, this smiling tiger, killed?”

Flinging away the Blind rchant’s corpse, Han Fei pushed open the elevator door and lifted the heavy curtain.

The twenty-seventh floor was artificially divided into different areas, breeding different at Food. On this floor, many victims had no nas, instead branded with numbers.

Regular at Food fetched no price, but so were in high demand above the fiftieth floor, such as captivating living humans or Cri Chasers filled with righteousness.
