The Pri Minister and Defense Minister requested the Minamoto Clan to contribute to the country, but they also occasionally hinted at Erina personally regarding assistance within the Guardian Alliance.

Representatives from WUF and the Arican embassy ca to condole her retirent and injuries. They inford Erina regarding her shares from the previous mission. They also hoped Erina could return as a frontline combatant.

As for the other guests, they were there to curry favor.

Erina checked her wristwatch, feeling sowhat dissatisfied with what these guests had to offer, but she still had to satisfy so of them with minimal courtesy.

"It’s a sha, but I can’t go back to the front lines anymore. Pri Minister, I understand your point, but what do I get from this? You’re not asking us to support the country more than necessary for free, right?" Erina made a steeple of her fingers. She was patient enough to listen to everyone, but it was her turn to decide because the final say was always hers.

"Haha, that’s, of course. We won’t take advantage of you without sothing in return." The Pri Minister raised his hand, chatting in a friendly manner.

"Then, it’s all set. You can discuss the details with my father’s secretary. But, please rember. Even though the Guardian of Dream is in my back, that doesn’t an I can do whatever I want there. It also doesn’t an you can bully us over my situation. Don’t even think about it, let alone try it." Erina turned the pen in her hand to gold, giving a subtle warning if anyone dared to harbor so ill intentions that could harm her family.

"How could that happen? You are our greatest military force that protected tens of millions of people. The governnt will also try to protect you during your recovery." The Pri Minister hinted at sothing obvious.

It was easy to tell that Erina could recover to her pri as the top-tier SS-level esper in the near future, considering the Guardian of Dream, especially Erina’s lover, wouldn’t remain silent over Erina’s injury.

At the sa ti, he could use this opportunity to make Erina stay in Japan and pay more attention to their ho country instead of periodically dealing with dangerous zones overseas.

"Then, it’s all from us. I hope you can recover safely and comfortably in your own ho. We will send our personnel to ensure your residence is safe from any threats." The defense minister tidied up his docunts.

"It’s all from us. The packages will arrive at Narita Airport in a few hours. We wish you a speedy recovery, Erina-sama. Even though you have retired, we hope you will continue your military and logistical support. Also, be sure to invite us to your marriage to Master El, Erina-sama. Ho-ho-ho!" WUF’s chief officer laughed amiably.

"Mio, escort the guests out." Erina extended her hand forward.

Mio bowed respectfully and ushered the guests to the exit.

Erina remained silent as the guests walked away from the living room, but she soon looked aside at her father. "Father, I will go to Beijing, China."

"Huh?" Kenji felt a bit surprised. He didn’t even need to say anything other than exchanging pleasantries with the guests. His daughter handled everything, but she suddenly wanted to go overseas again. "May I know what you will do in China, Erina?"

"I want to visit WUF Asia’s main headquarters, the Superhero Academy, to scout so talents. El will pick up at the airport later. Mio and I will fly out in 90 minutes." Erina stated her agenda while sending a ssage to Elysia via Elysium Group Chat.

Elysia and her family toured Japan and their visit would end at her family’s private shrine, the Ten no gami Shrine. She imdiately texted her chief shrine maiden to properly welco the distinguished guests.

"Just the two of you? Well, if El will be there with you, then everything is okay. Let your papa handle other matters remotely from ho." Kenji breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright." Erina nodded in understanding, and glanced at her stepmother, gesturing sothing with a hand signal.

They were protected by Elysia’s amulet to ensure their safety, but she still didn’t allow them to leave this mansion. News about her stepmother’s pregnancy was also still kept secret.

"Hm?" The representatives from WUF accidentally eavesdrop on Erina’s event schedule. Considering the situation, they imdiately contacted the Asia headquarters regarding it.

The Pri Minister and defense minister felt sowhat dissatisfied. They wished to send so soldiers to escort Erina to China, but diplomatic relations between the two countries were not good. It would bring a misunderstanding if they sent elite soldiers to Erina’s group.

A few monts later, Erina and Mio went to Narita Airport. They had to put on an act where they had to go to the Superhero Academy to scout so talents.

However, it caused quite a stir, mainly due to journalists, because it was rare for the Golden Diva to appear in public. Because of the recent news related to Erina’s lover and the accident, everything related to Erina could beco a hot topic.

While Erina’s superjet took off, Elysium’s bus was just returning to the Tokyo area after their tour. They visited the sacred shrine that Erina built exclusively near Mount Fuji.

"It’s Ten no gami... Ten gami? They have ten gami?" Sylvia looked left and right, looking for the ten figures in question.

"That’s not our family gami... gami ans Goddess, and Ten no gami ans Divine Goddess. I heard this shrine is one of the most sacred ones and is usually not open to the public." Luna checked the tour guidebook and skimd the details regarding this sacred shrine.

"Welco to the Ten no gami, esteed guests. We have been waiting for your arrival. This humble servant is Makoto." The chief shrine maiden ca over, followed by her fellow shrine maiden, welcoming the guests politely.

"Hm?" Elysia observed the girls behind the chief shrine maiden. She spotted the previous college girl with unusual supernatural abilities had joined Erina’s shrine maiden team.

This sacred shrine was pretty good. The exquisite shrine, and decorated with lots of gold ornants.

’Based on internal information, the Golden Goddess Statue in the shrine was personally crafted by Erina.’ Elena used her divine sense to peer deep into the shrine and found Elysia’s golden status inside there, the praying Goddess.

’Um.’ Elysia could see it too.

Makoto then led the shrine maiden team to escort and entertain the distinguished guests.

While Elysia’s family was still traveling and Erina went to Beijing, a grand demonic portal erged under the South China Sea.

It was like the crashing glass that broke the temporary peaceful atmosphere, a gigantic claw destroyed the realm barrier, freeing itself from the dinsional fragnt of the collapsed underworld.

Hundreds of sharp bone-like fins shot out like spears, impaling many fish and sea creatures, and dyeing the sea red.

The terrifying demonic creature in the darkness retracted its spines, greedily devouring the surrounding monsters.

"Grr!" The terrifying demonic monster growled, causing an underwater earthquake.

The demonic monster was still unsatisfied. The insatiable hunger still raging, the thirst for blood, flesh, and a fresh soul.

*Gurgle* *Gurgle*

The terrifying demonic monster slowly ca out of the dinsional gap, entering the underwater world. Its bright yellow eyes scanned its surroundings, searching for prey with a sharp death stare.

Unfortunately, there weren’t many living creatures around. Therefore, it took a swift turn and swam to go with the flow, going in search of prey to satisfy its hunger.

Thousands of smaller demonic monsters ca out of the dinsional gap as well, feeling both relieved and hungry. The terrifying demonic monster had grown tired of eating their own kin for years and they could finally co out of that realm fragnt.

"Rawr!"

"Human’s soul!"

"Gurgle, gurgle... Blood!"

"Freedom!"

Various terrifying cries of demons accompanied the ergence of thousands of demons into the outside world.

The Chinese governnt imdiately received an alarm, alarming the entire military force, including the Esper Association and World Unity Force.

"What is the danger level?" The Commander in the command room of the Hong Kong Harbor military headquarters squinted his eyes at the approaching danger in the satellite radar.

A huge energy fluctuation occurred deep beneath the sea, and a gigantic monster approached at an impressive speed.

"It’s apocalypse-level, sir. A massive sea lizard is approaching from the South China Sea at 380 mph. It’s heading this way on a straight course, and will arrive offshore in sixty-two minutes!" The senior staff took off his headset, feeling they would et their death soon.

"It’s a fcking Godzilla. Send a request for ergency reinforcents. Activate the level five defense system. Evacuate all residents within a three-kiloter radius of the coast. We will bombard the monster when it enters the firing zone." The Commander gave his command and imdiately made a phone call.

"Yes, sir!" The other staff and officers saluted and rushed to complete the order.

An imdiate danger siren sounded throughout the region bordering the South China Sea, including southeastern China and Macau.

The residents felt panicked and afraid, but they still evacuated themselves to safe areas in a relatively orderly manner, escorted by many police and soldiers. At the sa ti, hundreds of heavyweight defense equipnt imdiately prepared along the coast, ready to bombard the approaching threats.

Dozens of warships were also prepared as the first defensive shield in the outer circle of the firing zone, ready to fire dozens of ballistic missiles as an opening attack.

"The apocalypse-level monster will arrive at the sea surface in one minute. Shield One Fleet, and bombard that monster once it erges. The main reinforcents will arrive in half an hour." The Commander gave orders to the warship commandos.

"Roger."

"All green."

"Affirmative."

*Swoosh!*

A blue laser beam with intense destructive heat shot out from the sea, traveling past the speed of sound to destroy anything in its path, shifting right and left several tis.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

Dozens of warships were instantly reduced to scrap, consud by the enormous explosion. The ballistic missiles failed to launch and disintegrated, exploding and expanding the destruction, creating a billowing hellfire wall that soared hundreds of ters into the sky.

"Roar!" The demonic sea lizard erged onto the sea surface, announcing its arrival with an ear-piercing roar.
