Jian Dan was walking with her son in the old mansion’s garden when a servant brought her phone over, ntioning that there were constant ssages, and Grandma Bo was worried there might be sothing urgent, so she had it delivered to her first.
Jian Dan smiled at the servant, took her phone, and continued pushing Bo Jian’s stroller forward as he grunted softly.
With the motion, he smacked his lips and drifted back to sleep with his eyes squinted.
Jian Dan opened the group chat with a few people, read through their conversation, and was suddenly quite shocked.
Jian Dan: Linlin, you actually got married?
This speed is like taking a rocket, truly... never expected it.
Bo Qin was in the kitchen preparing a fruit platter for her, and after bringing it out, he effortlessly took the baby stroller from her hands, allowing her to focus on replying to ssages while sitting on the side.
The two of them temporarily stayed at the old mansion at the behest of Madam Bo.
This arrangent, firstly, was for Jian Dan’s recovery, and secondly, they could help care for the child alongside her. Since Jian Dan had a C-section, they were quite concerned.
They worried that it might have caused so damage to her body and that they might not be able to look after her in ti. Now, with everyone living together, things were much better, and their hearts were slightly relieved.
Bo Qin thought it over and agreed, feeling more at ease staying here as well. Occasionally, he would still make a trip to the company, handle so docunts, and then quickly rush back, living a two-point-one-line lifestyle.
He thought his self-granted vacation was actually way too long.
Zhou Yao occasionally talked to him about child-rearing issues, and Bo Qin asked Assistant Zhou, "Who watches your child at ho?"
Zhou Yao rubbed his nose, "Most of the ti, it’s ng Xue herself, with my mom and mother-in-law at ho helping out too, so there’s no real issue."
"You don’t help?"
Bo Qin asked.
The question caught him off guard, making him pause for a mont, "Of course I do, but not for long. My child is more attached to ng Xue, and whenever I hold him and he’s uncomfortable, he cries a lot."
When he cries, his mom thinks he’s useless, and gradually, he stopped holding his own son as much.
It felt so unfaced-saving, always making him lose face; such a son, not having discarded him was already the greatest rcy.
Thinking about coaxing him was a dream.
Bo Qin nodded, "Tomorrow, for the eting, have all departnt heads bring their plan books. I previously interrupted this eting, a whole two months have passed. If they still can’t get it done right, then they should quickly get out."
"Understood."
After finishing up at the company, Bo Qin would rush straight ho, the version of him everyone initially knew as President Bo was completely different now. So people tried to get gossip from Assistant Zhou, but Assistant Zhou would only ever say one thing, which was, "Are you trying to die?"
Of course they weren’t trying to die.
The boss’s gossip was not sothing everyone was qualified to hear. At least, they were quite tragic, weren’t they?
Clearly able to guess, but never getting confirmation, it made their hearts itch, always feeling like they were missing out on sothing big, which felt quite incredible.
...
At first, Bo Qin didn’t ask Jian Dan what she was chatting about, but as the sun set, he pushed Bo Jian and reached out to grab Jian Dan’s wrist, saying, "Let’s go inside, it’s getting a bit cold outside now."
Jian Dan made a sound of acknowledgnt, holding one hand in Bo Qin’s grasp while using the other to continuously reply to ssages. Bo Qin, being close, glanced down and saw the words "marriage certificate," raising his eyebrows slightly, "Who are you chatting with?"
Clearly, he had already seen it.
Jian Dan didn’t think too much about it, nor did she notice if he had seen it or not. She looked up at him with a smile.
"Chatting with Lai Wei and the others. Zhao Linlin was tricked by Lin Ye into getting a marriage certificate. She gambled with Lin Ye, originally destined to lose, yet she kept wagering and losing every ti."
This ti, they don’t even know what was said between the two of them; Zhao Linlin didn’t say, she just followed Lin Ye and got the certificate, haha...
Now she’s bragging about it in the group chat, just talking about this thing."
Bo Qin nodded, "In truth, there’s no harm in getting married. After all, you’ve already had kids, and in the future, when you all go out together, you’ll be the young mom, and they’ll be middle-aged won."
Jian Dan paused her typing, looking incredulously at Bo Qin sitting beside her with a serious expression, speechless for a while before slowly saying, "Uncle Qin, is what you’re saying a joke?"
"Not at all."
Jian Dan: "..."
She felt it couldn’t be that exaggerated; at most, her son would be older than their kids and would be the big brother, taking care of his siblings.
Bo Qin saw the little girl not speaking, still looking deeply thoughtful, and laughed lightly, "You’re a girl, you should understand that comparing appearances at the sa age is most brutal—I an, although with good maintenance it’s possible, having children younger helps with recovery more, naturally, I’m not saying you’re at the best age for having children;"
