“[Combination Magic: Scythe of Death!]”
Grim Reaper casts his spell which was the combination of the tal and darkness elent
Two magic circles, one tallic gray and one pitch black ford in front of him, and from them, a scythe coated with black energies erged
This was a signature spell of his. One small cut to the enemies would already deal substantial damage to them considering that the scythe has a decaying effect
“[Shadow Dance!]”
After casting the [Scythe of Death] spell, Grim Reaper cast another spell that enabled him to reach Rezen at an astonishing speed
He appeared directly behind Rezen and with a loud fit of laughter, swung his scythe at his head
Sensing the danger behind him, Rezen hurriedly ducked causing the scythe to miss. Only the winds hit Rezen’s head
With great flexibility, Rezen kicked his foot backward. With the physique of a Tattoo Warrior, his kick would definitely be terribly devasting towards a mage
However, instead of feeling like he was hitting a human body, it felt like Rezen hit an empty air
Rezen’s eyes flashed and he hurriedly moves away from where he was
As soon as he did so, Grim Reaper’s body dissolved into a mass of black acidic fog. The air sizzled and the ground was liquified, showing off the terrifying power of this acidic fog
Soon, the black acidic fog gathered and condensed into Grim Reaper again
“[Broken Fog!]”
The two stood opposite from each other before they both stretched their hands out as one tallic magic circle and one yellow magic circle ford at the sa ti
“[tal Stream!]”
“[Sun Stream!]”
The two casts their stream spells. The most basic spell yet is also not to be underestimated
Almost instantly, sparks flew around as the two different kinds of elental energies clashed with each other
“Kekeke, in terms of stream spell, it seems like no one could beat you!” Grim Reaper said using a playful tone as if this developnt further excites them
Just like what Rezen’s other opponents did, Grim Reaper waved his hand to the side, canceling the clash by letting their stream spells hit the innocent ground, blasting a large crater on it
“[rcury Swamp!]”
The Grim Reaper conjured a large magic circle on the ground turning it from solid into liquid rcury
Rezen’s foot instantly sunk into the swamp of rcury that was issuing a strong pulling force as if it wants to swallow him alive
Not only that but the rcury nearby turned into tentacles that tried to drag him down. If this goes on, Rezen would be subrged in this liquid rcury and suffocate to death
“[Sun Palm!]”
A yellow magic circle ford on Rezen’s right palm and the power of the sun instantly gathered on his palm that he uses to slap the rcury away from him
He also uses his power as a Tattoo Warrior. His feet release the power of the sun that helps him get out of the rcury swamp, making him look like a certain character from the movies and comics
With Rezen’s body hovering in the air, the rcury on the swamp has no choice but to move and follow if they want to swallow him
“[Shadow Dance!]”
Grim Reaper seemingly vanished from his earlier position and reappeared in front of Rezen while holding his [Scythe of Death]
One large wound from the scythe would cause almost every mage at his rank to die
However, that is when Rezen casts a spell that has beco his signature spell in this last part of the Tournant
“[Distortion!]”
The light was once again manipulated by Rezen as the wide open space turned into a wide grassland
Even the rcury on the ground created from magic was dispersed and people could step on it again
The [Distortion] spell fooled Grim Reaper’s senses just like what happened to the other 5th fusion rank mages
He knew that he is not actually in a grassland and this is just Rezen tricking his eyes but it looks so real
Croak! Croak!
If the grassland wasn’t enough, gigantic frogs even appeared. There were at least a thousand of them and their numbers seem to be increasing
“Heh… what a nice spell… but that wouldn’t work! [World of Darkness!]”
A black magic circle ford below Grim Reaper. This magic circle causes the surroundings to distort
The magic circle acts as if it was swallowing all the light in the surroundings including the light that Rezen uses to fool people’s senses
In the end, a chunk of the area affected by the [Distortion] spell was cut off. If Rezen were to enter that area, Grim Reaper would definitely imdiately know
Rezen has won the two previous battles by sneaking on his opponents. Now that he could not do it anymore, how would he win this fight?
“Wow!! Amazing! Amazing!”
“That’s Grim Reaper for you!”
“He managed to deal with Rezen’s spell!”
“How exciting!”
“Would he finally lose?”
The audience felt their blood boiling from such an exciting battle. They finally saw soone cracking Rezen’s spell
Without the advantage brought by the [Distorion] spell, is there any chance that Rezen could win?
His performance is heaven-defying, to say the least, but he is still a newly advanced 5th fusion rank mage and he also fought two consecutive battles. He wouldn’t be able to erge victorious in this fight, right?
The audience can’t wait to see what would happen next and Rezen didn’t have them wait for too long
“[Essence of the Sun!]”
Rezen showed himself again as he created a magic circle on his mystic gem. The mystic gem imdiately glowed and turned into a miniature sun
The temperature of the area near him rose sharply while those who are far from it turned cold as if all the heat was sucked
The space of the [Distortion] spell that Grim Reaper rendered useless was quite large. As such, what he experienced was the loss of heat from his surroundings
It was to the point that ice starts to form on his clothes and body
Rezen has no qualms playing dirty. Since he can’t get close to his opponent through a sneak attack then he would use this tactic
Grim Reaper shouldn’t have a physique comparable to a Tattoo Warrior. How long could he endure the loss of heat when it was taking up almost his everything to maintain a space devoid of the [Distortion] spell’s effect?
He might have dealt with Rezen’s spell but that was not a perfect way to do it. This tactic of his left a weakness that Rezen is now exploiting
Rezen can’t sneak attack him but Grim Reaper also couldn’t move from his position
It was not easy to deal with Rezen’s treacherous tactic
“Heh… good! Very good! You made angry now!” Grim Reaper said through gritted teeth as he canceled out his [World of Darkness] spell
The space he was standing on was once again distorted and turned into grassland. With this, Rezen could sneak attack him again but things are not that easy
“[Combination Magic: Reaper’s Anguish!]”
Grim Reaper casts another spell and two large magic circles ford before towering spikes covered with black energies grew from the ground
Since Grim Reaper cannot see where Rezen is then he would attack everything!
The sharp tal spikes continuously move around, trying to find and pierce Rezen to death
Even if the naked eye couldn’t see the tal spikes, they are still there!
If that wasn’t enough, Grim Reaper was also frantically moving around like a madman while waving his scythe
With his movents, it would be hard for Rezen to find the chance to attack him
“Hahahaha! What would you do now? I’ll win! I would be the winner!” The Grim Reaper laughed wildly
He continued his mad assault but he didn’t expect how shaless Rezen could be
Since Grim Reaper was attacking everything on the ground then… Rezen only has to fly!
While the tal spikes are several ters long, all Rezen has to do was to float in the air until Grim Reaper uses up all of his energy
Grim Reaper knew what Rezen was planning but… what could he do? If he stops, Rezen would sneak attack him
In the end, Grim Reaper uses all of his mana. Rezen was not that much different. He only has a bit of strength left but that is enough
His figure descended down as his fist targeted the already exhausted Grim Reaper
Bang!
The result was no suspense. Rezen has won the third battle but at the sa ti, the result of his victory causes everyone’s jaw to fall to the ground
Previously, every ti a contestant is on the brink of dying, Space Monarch would always intervene and save them
However, he didn’t do that to save Grim Reaper. Considering the physical strength of a Tattoo Warrior, Rezen’s punch has directly exploded Grim’s Reaper entire head
In other words, Rezen has killed his opponent that was supposed to be saved by Space Monarch!
