Chapter 89: Questioning
“It’s not my fault? Bai Ran, do you have a conscience? I’m your savior, okay? Besides, why did you call at the last mont if you don’t think it’s my fault? If it weren’t for that call, you would be dead by now!” Chen Chen was furious. Why was this girl so heartless when she woke up?
“I called you?” Bai Ran tried hard to rember. In the end, she did press a number, but she did not rember it.
“What else? You still want to tell that you wanted to call Jiang Yun and got the wrong number?” Chen Chen looked up, his eyes filled with jealousy.
“You can think of it that way.” Bai Ran turned around and did not look at Chen Chen. “But I’m still very thankful that you saved . You don’t have anything else to do now. Go back first.”
“Bai Ran!” Chen Chen was even more speechless. He stood up. “What do you an?!”
“I don’t an anything. I just don’t think you should be here at this mont,” Bai Ran replied.
“Then where should I be?! Tell !” Chen Chen shouted.
“You should care more about Sister Hu Wan. She’s not in good health right now. Tell her not to go to the bar to dance and dance if she’s fine,” Bai Ran explained.
Perhaps in this critical mont, the only person she could think of was Chen Chen, so she looked for him.

At the sa ti, Bai Ran thought about Hu Wan and that man and did not say anything. It seed like she knew that man, but after all, she had not done anything special. She could not guess randomly.
“You’re going to a bar to dance?” Chen Chen looked at Bai Ran suspiciously.
“Yes, I saw her last night. Accompany her more often if you have the ti. She definitely won’t go either,” Bai Ran said calmly.
Chen Chen’s eyes were filled with suspicion.
“So go see her first and then go back to rest. I’m fine now. I can do it myself,” Bai Ran said. She did not want Chen Chen to stay here anymore, afraid that she would not be able to control herself.
“Then I’ll co over to see you later,” Chen Chen said as he turned to leave.

“I’m coming!”

At the sa ti, Hu Wan shouted into the phone in the ward’s bathroom, “What are you guys doing?! Why didn’t you leave after confirming her death?! Am I paying you to be so perfunctory?!”
“Miss Hu, I sealed the doors and windows tightly, thinking that there would be no problem. Who knew that soone would save her in the middle of the night? She was gone when I went to see her in the morning.”

The person on the other end of the line explained desperately.
At this mont, there was a knock on the door.
“Wait for my instructions!” Hu Wan hung up the phone and walked out to open the door.
“Chen Chen, you’re here.” Hu Wan looked very surprised.
“You went to a bar to dance last night?” Chen Chen questioned as soon as he ca in. “Do you want to die? Have you ever thought about your own body?”
“You didn’t feel uncomfortable back then? And you’re still fine?” Chen Chen asked. When he saw Hu Wan’s expression, he suddenly had doubts.
She could still be agitated when she saw him hug her, but she was fine when she went to a bar?
“Chen Chen, what do you an? Don’t you want to be fine?” Hu Wan asked.
“Of course I do. But why do you want to go to such a place? Do you not care about your own health?” Chen Chen’s expression softened a little at this question.
“Anyway, you won’t marry . Does my health matter?” Hu Wan said, her voice already beginning to tear.
“What are you talking about?” Chen Chen turned his eyes away and did not look at her.
“Isn’t that so? Yesterday at Grandma’s place, you were the one who chose Grandma from the beginning to the end. You chose Grandma and Bai Ran.” Hu Wan sniffled as her eyes were filled with tears.
