Inside the car, Edward drove while Ethan sat beside him as he continued to check the rearview mirror more occasionally than usual.

Edward noticed his actions and said, "Will you stop checking the rearview mirror all the ti like it’s going to disappear anyti soon. Erika is here and she isn’t going anywhere," he tried to ease Ethan but the latter glared at him instead.

"Will you mind your business and just watch the road?" He demanded and Edward imdiately shut his mouth.

Ethan looked at the rearview mirror again and this ti, he made eye contact with Erika. Her blue eyes sparkled under the sunlight and he couldn’t look away from them.

"I understand how you feel but don’t worry too much, I won’t leave your side," she promised with a smile.

It only took her one glance to quickly know what was bothering Ethan and he admired that. He’d been worried that Erika might just disappear from his sight and that thought bothered him so much, to the extent that he didn’t want to blink his eyes away from her with the fear that he might never see her again.

Erika smiled at him and he released his tense muscles.

Edward continued to drive while Erika directed them towards the hospital where Adrain had brought both her and Felicia two days ago.

"That’s the one," she pointed to the big building. Even though she hadn’t recognized the road properly, she did make sure to master the na of the hospital and the street it was in.

The three of them got out of the car and headed towards the entrance of the hospital while Ethan made sure to lock hands with Erika.

"Who are we going to start looking for first?" Edward asked as he observed the people inside move about.

"I rember the na of the doctor that we t when Adrian brought us here. His na was Mr Gilbert," she quickly rembered. She looked at one hallway and added, "His office is around that corner."

Imdiately, they followed behind her as she led them towards the office of Mr Gilbert. Without knocking, Ethan banged the door open but what greeted them was an empty room. The chairs and tables were still intact and so were the furniture. The sa furniture that she’d seen two days ago.

"Where could he be?" Erika mumbled to herself.

She looked outside and found a nurse about to pass them by and she quickly stopped the nurse.

"Excuse but we are looking for Mr Gilbert,"

Erika told the nurse.

The nurse first looked at the two huge n behind Erika and gulped down her saliva before she parted her lips to speak.

"I’m sorry mam but Mr Gilbert has already left the hospital," she answered with a smile.

Erika frowned. "Left? What do you an by he left?"

The nurse nearly shivered from how cold Erika’s tone was but she imdiately gathered herself back together and replied while the two n behind her glared at her intently, as if daring her to lie to them.

"He suddenly left the hospital yesterday saying that he no longer wants to work in this hospital mam," she explained better.

Erika couldn’t believe what the nurses were saying at all while Edward and Ethan exchanged a glance.

"Do you know the patient Felicia Hart? She ca here to have costic surgery done in the hands of Mr Gilbert the previous day," said Erika.

"I’m sorry mam but I don’t know any Felicia Hart but if you want, I can help direct you to the fellow surgeons here who also perform plastic surgery. They might be able to help you since they assist in the operation," the nurse offered. The only thing she wanted at that mont was to leave these scary people whose auras were suffocating as if being drowned in the ocean.

Without wasting a second, Erika imdiately nodded her head and the nurse started walking towards another part of the building, where the other surgeon’s offices were.

Ethan grabbed Erika’s hand to pull her back. "I think Adrian already inford the surgeon that we were looking for him and had instructed him to escape," he whispered in her ears and she nodded. She also thought the sa thing but currently, she was grabbing onto the possibility that the other surgeons would be able to help her.

If Felicia perford the surgery the previous day, that only ant that she was energized enough to be discharged from the hospital since she would need a lot of ti to recover.

The nurse continued to walk until she stopped at a door. She knocked on the door and went in without waiting for the person inside to give permission.

Erika was about to walk in but Ethan pulled her back and Edward was the first person to enter first while the both of them entered together. He could feel her urge to find where Felicia was and in the middle of it, she could lose her guard.

The office was larger than the one that they had been in earlier and instead of one surgeon, there were two.

Erika stared at their unfamiliar faces and sighed. ’These must be the people that Mr Gilbert was talking about,’ she thought to herself.

"Excuse but this lady has a few questions to ask you about a patient," the nurse said. One of the n who looked older and with a bald head that was deprived of any single strand of hair nodded at the nurse and she turned to excuse herself.

"Do you know Felicia Hart?" Erika asked straight to the point without greeting the n which baffled them. She had an inkling that those n were very much associated with Mr Gilbert and they must know Adrian as well.

"Excuse us mam, but who are you and who are you looking for?" The sa man with a bald head and a white lab coat asked.

"Felicia Hart dammit!" Ethan banged his fist on their desk angrily.
