Upon hearing this, Su Hongxing looked at her son blowing spit bubbles on the side.

She wanted to see how stubborn Ye Qilan could get; if he had the guts, he’d never co back to Qingmu Garden in this lifeti, and she would really stand up to that man.
That evening, Ye Qilan drank quite a lot. After parting ways with Fu Yan, he got into the car.
Xiaohe noticed Ye Qilan seed quite drunk and cautiously asked, “Sir, are we heading back to Qingmu Garden?”
“I want to go ho, to see my wife. She hasn’t spoken to in a while,” Ye Qilan mumbled drunkenly, a silly smile spreading as he ntioned Su Hongxing.
Xiaohe thought Ye Qilan had just had a simple argunt with Su Hongxing and didn’t think much of it, so she took Ye Qilan back to Qingmu Garden.
Ye Qilan stumbled out of the car, muttering to himself. When he realized he was in the garage of Qingmu Garden, he shook his head, feeling like he had forgotten sothing important.
Xiaohe saw Ye Qilan was just talking about Su Hongxing, yet he wasn’t heading into the living room, so she reminded him, “Didn’t you say you wanted to see Madam?” Aren’t we going yet?
“I, I can’t go ho…” Ye Qilan mumbled to himself, but couldn’t rember why he couldn’t go ho.
anwhile, Zhu Jin was thrilled when Age told him Ye Qilan had returned to Qingmu Garden; he imdiately ran over to catch a glimpse of Ye Qilan.
Su Hongxing also found it odd. Knowing Qilan’s stubborn nature, there was no way he could have had a sudden change of heart and rushed back to Qingmu Garden. It was out of character. She followed behind Zhu Jin with a sense of curiosity.
“Mr. Ye, hello, I’m Zhu Jin.” Zhu Jin quickly ran up to Ye Qilan.
Upon hearing the na “Zhu Jin,” Ye Qilan felt like he was struck by lightning, sobering up instantly. He took two steps back and quickly dove back into the car.
He saw Xiaohe still standing there, yelled, “Xiaohe, drive!”
Xiaohe looked bewildered; she got into the car chanically, unable to understand why Ye Qilan was afraid of Zhu Jin.
“Husband, where are you going?” At this mont, Su Hongxing poked her head in through the car window, looking at Ye Qilan with a playful smile.
Hearing Su Hongxing’s sweet, endearing “husband,” Ye Qilan’s heart almost lted. But he quickly snapped back to reality, thinking it was sugar-coated poison, and replied seriously and formally, “I just rembered there’s work I haven’t finished. Honey, you get so rest early. I’ll finish up these loose ends before coming back to accompany you, okay?”
He said this as he pushed Su Hongxing away.
Su Hongxing looked coldly at Ye Qilan, “Fine, if you leave now, don’t bother coming back to this house. If you don’t want to be my husband, I’ll just find another one!”
Having said that, she ignored Ye Qilan and went straight back to the living room.
Ye Qilan watched Su Hongxing’s figure as she left, calling out to her, but she didn’t respond at all.
