Ye Nianbai and Bo Fengyin, who shared a children’s room, rubbed their eyes sleepily and yawned as they followed the others out. Seeing their older and younger brothers, Ye Nianbai was baffled. "Why aren’t you sleeping in the middle of the night?" he asked. "What on earth are you all up to?"
"You go back to sleep," Bo Fengyin said.
"No way! Wherever you’re going, this little master is going too."
How could Ye Nianbai possibly go to sleep alone?
Whether it was sothing good or sothing bad, brothers had to stick together!
Ye Jingzhe hadn’t agreed to this venture yet. He was waiting for Su Chaoyang to provide a specific action plan. Otherwise, they would just be causing trouble for their parents, where good intentions could lead to bad outcos.
Su Chaoyang patted her little chest and declared, "Baby I can use The Third Eye, for real! If I’m lying, may I never grow long hair my entire life! May I never be able to tie it into braids!"
Su Chaoyang had an obsession with long hair but hadn’t managed to grow it out over the years. Every ti her hair grew even a little, her uncle would call the barber to shave her head. For her, vowing to never grow long hair was incredibly serious.
Ye Jingzhe, still maintaining his calm, icy expression, asked cautiously, "How can you use The Third Eye?"
"The Third Eye is a treasure of the Mystery Sect! Baby I am the only hope for the future of the Mystery Sect! You wouldn’t understand even if I told you!"
But Ye Jingzhe did understand.
The education Si Lisao had given him covered extensive areas, including history. Si Lisao had ntioned the Mystery Sect that once thrived on the Mu Continent and Gendaya’s national treasure, The Third Eye.
Ye Jingzhe pursed his thin, cool lips. After pondering for a long mont, he said, "Alright, I believe you. We’ll go together."
The little ones were planning to steal an airplane when Ye Nianbai swaggered and asked, "Why do we need to steal it?"
Xi Lei, looking incredibly cute and cool, mumbled, "Are you stupid? If we don’t steal it, would Grandma and Grandpa let us go out alone?"
Usually, when they wanted to go out, they had to sneak around. They never had the chance to do so openly.
But Ye Nianbai was different. "Why not?" he asked.
Waving his little hand, Ye Nianbai said, "Follow this little master."
Ye Nianbai led the way, swaggering to the duty office next to the tarmac. None of the other little dragon cubs followed him. Instead, they stomped their feet in frustration, cursing Ye Nianbai for being so foolish. They were sure he’d give them all away and they’d be dragged back to bed.
Unexpectedly, monts later, two guards erged from the duty office. They followed Ye Nianbai and began arranging their departure.
And they didn’t tell anyone else.
Sitting on the airplane, with professional pilots to ensure their safety, the other little dragon cubs were stunned.
Only after the plane took off and soared into the night sky did the little dragon cubs finally realize. Is leaving really this simple?
Bo Fengyin, lounging cockily in his seat, asked, "Why was it so simple? What did you say to the guards?"
"Of course, I told them this little master is going to find Mommy and Daddy."
Seeing his older and younger brothers looking at him incredulously, Ye Nianbai rubbed his small nose in confusion. "Didn’t you know Daddy already gave instructions?" he asked. "We can go wherever we want, but we have to tell soone at ho. We’re not allowed to sneak out, or else there will be severe punishnt. But he also said that if our request is reasonable, we don’t have to tell our parents, and the household guards have to obey. Right?"
Bo Fengyin imdiately perked up. "That’s possible?"
"Of course! Daddy is very open-minded. This little master often goes out to play alone." Ye Nianbai shared his experience, bragging in the tone of a miniature adult. "As long as we don’t do anything that worries Mom and Dad, Daddy will grant this little master absolute freedom within reason, you know!"
