After Mo Yinhe had eaten his fill and regained his strength, he finally had the energy to think about other matters. He picked Si Mingjing up from the sofa and set her on his lap.

"What are you doing?" Si Mingjing pushed him slightly.

"What do you think? Holding my wife," Mo Yinhe said, bringing his face close and rubbing her cheek with his firm chin. "Give a kiss."

Si Mingjing laughed and pushed away his approaching face. "Stop ssing around."

"Who’s ssing around? Hurry up, or I’ll deal with you right now."

Yielding to his domineering tone, Si Mingjing leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the face. "There, that’s enough. Now let go."

Mo Yinhe lifted her into his arms, carried her straight to the bedroom, and kicked the door shut.

"The kids aren’t here now; it’s just the two of us. Mingjing, Mom told to take good care of you. You’ve had a hard few days, so I’ll comfort you properly."

Si Mingjing pounded on him with her fists, but to no avail. He pinned her down on the bed. "Are you seeking comfort from because you felt wronged by your mom?"

Indeed, Mo Yinhe was hurt. "My mom called a scumbag for running off and leaving you alone on this dangerous battlefield."

"PFFT... Your mom is so adorable."

Si Mingjing wrapped her arms around Mo Yinhe’s neck, then flipped him over, going on the offensive and pinning him underneath. Her hair cascaded down. Grabbing a lock, she playfully poked Mo Yinhe’s nose with it.

It tickled.

"Alright, I’ll comfort you. My poor husband, you’ve been wronged."

Mo Yinhe fixed his gaze on her rosy lips. "Give sothing real."

Si Mingjing lowered her head and kissed him earnestly.

"MMM... I, Little Fishy, can’t watch this!"

Little Xiangru swam back and forth in the small fish tank in the bedroom. He had been curious about what Mommy and Daddy were doing, but then...

Little Xiangru imdiately chanted in the fish tank, "See no evil, hear no evil..."

Then he swiftly dove into his own space. A good child must study hard and make progress every day.

After a good sleep, Si Mingjing and Mo Yinhe had a al to fill their stomachs, then set out for Shendu.

Little Xiangru had once again transford into the cute appearance of a human baby. As Si Mingjing and Mo Yinhe were boarding the airplane, he scurried aboard and flung himself into Si Mingjing’s arms. Wrapping his arms around her neck, he said, "Mommy, Little Fishy wants to co too."

"Xiangru?" Si Mingjing reached out, touched her son’s small head, and placed him on her lap, then asked soone to bring a cup of milk and breakfast.

Concerned that his wife’s legs might be tired, Mo Yinhe picked up his son and placed him on his own lap.

"Be good, Daddy will feed you. Your mommy was exhausted last night; let her sleep a little longer."

Si Mingjing really wanted to kick Mo Yinhe! What kind of things was he saying in front of their son?

"Little Fishy knows. Little Fishy saw everything," Little Xiangru honestly admitted.

Hearing this, Mo Yinhe’s expression crumbled.

"You saw everything?" Mo Yinhe’s face turned unsightly in an instant.

He’d nearly forgotten that although his son was a fish, he still had eyes.

Si Mingjing was even more embarrassed and couldn’t lift her head. She lowered her seat, turned around, and covered herself with a blanket. Decisively acting the coward, she left Mo Yinhe alone to face their son.

"Dad, Mom, you need to be more careful in the future, okay? I’m still a kid," Little Xiangru said.

Mo Yinhe: "..."

Si Mingjing’s back was shaking violently as she tried to suppress her laughter.

At that mont, a subordinate ca over with milk and breakfast.

Mo Yinhe fed his son milk, calmly rubbing the child’s head. "Eat up. Mom and Dad were making you. Where would you be otherwise?"

Si Mingjing extended an arm from under the blanket and gave Mo Yinhe’s waist a sharp pinch.

Three hours later, the two of them arrived in Shendu.

A group of high-ranking officials was there to et them as they stepped off the plane. Everyone was wearing protective suits. Si Mingjing also put on a protective suit before disembarking.

After so handshakes and exchanges, Si Mingjing and Mo Yinhe, with their child in tow, took a small submarine to the hospital to visit and comfort Bo Leng.

Bo Leng’s recovery over the past two days had been good, and his complexion had improved significantly.

In the ward, Bo Leng picked up Little Xiangru, who was wearing a small protective suit, and coldly scolded Mo Yinhe, "Why did you bring the child here? Aren’t you afraid of infection? I just recovered from one, and you’ve already forgotten the lesson? I don’t even let my own sons co here!"

"Eldest Uncle~~~"

"You do have a sweet mouth," Bo Leng retorted.

Through the protective suit, Bo Leng rubbed Little Xiangru’s head, cautious of transmitting his illness. After holding the child for ten seconds, he put him down.

Si Mingjing said, "Big Brother, how are you feeling? Let take your pulse."

"There are doctors here. You’re not the only one who knows how to treat illnesses."

Bo Leng refused to let Si Mingjing take his pulse, deliberately keeping his distance from the family of three, his cold gaze unequivocal.

Si Mingjing had been in the ward for less than three minutes when Bo Leng began to hurry them out. "If you’ve seen enough, then go! What’s there to look at?"

Mo Yinhe sat casually on a single-seater sofa, one long, straight leg propped up indifferently. "You’re being pretty harsh," he said. "Your sister braved the risk of infection to co all this way to see you, and after only three minutes you’re telling her to leave. Is that how an elder brother should act?"

A chill glance from Bo Leng swept over Mo Yinhe; he would have liked nothing better than to freeze Mo Yinhe solid and kick him away. "You have no idea about the situation in Shendu!" he snapped. "You shouldn’t have brought your wife and child here. Are you really fit to be a father and husband? Get lost now!"

Mo Yinhe motioned for his son. When Little Xiangru ca over, Mo Yinhe picked him up and sat him on his lap. "Mingjing has developed a new preventive dicine for the virus," he said. "Our family of three all had a bowl of it on the plane. We thought we’d co by and see whether this redy is effective against it."

Bo Leng’s cold expression didn’t soften one bit, his voice sinking to its lowest pitch. "You’re risking my sister’s health, using her as a guinea pig!"

Si Mingjing replied, "As the Queen of Mu Continent, this is what I should do. Why else would you all put in this position? To be a re figurehead, a decorative vase? If so, you’ve greatly underestimated . I have no intention of being just a vase."

Mo Yinhe grinned broadly. "Heard that? Don’t think of your little sister as so fragile. In her teens, she was brave enough to accompany to Atlantis alone, helping conquer territories. She’s far more than just a virtuous helper by my side. In fact, half of the credit for securing real power in Atlantis goes to her."

Listening to Mo Yinhe’s boasts, Bo Leng scoffed coldly, "Yeah, right."

"Of course! With such a capable wife, I have to brag about her. Otherwise, people might mistake her for a vase, and how could I be comfortable with that?"

Mo Yinhe deliberately antagonized Bo Leng, knowing full well that Bo Leng was concerned for their family’s well-being. But Mo Yinhe just wanted to sing his wife’s praises; he had no interest in curing himself of this ’ailnt’.

He also knew that once Mingjing took on this role, she had to shoulder the responsibilities that ca with it. Since his wife was so capable, he would let her strive to fulfill her own life’s value. This was especially true in Mu Continent, a place where won were revered. She deserved to excel in her career, and he would support her with all his might.
